There are 15 episodes left, and there’s still a lot yet to happen. I have to admit, it makes me a bit anxious. Hopefully, it will have a happy ending, and none of my favorite characters will die.

I like how their romance is being built gradually. It would feel inconsistent to me if Wei Shao simply gave in to his feelings immediately. He carries wounds — feelings of loss, pain, a sense of family duty and a deep-rooted thirst for revenge. All of this is so ingrained in him that it’s natural to see him hesitate. The fact that he appears confused, torn between what he feels and what he thinks he should do, makes a lot of sense. For him, love is practically an internal battlefield. Besides that, it’s beautiful to see that Manman understands him and knows he needs time to accept what he feels.

I think that painting by Wei Yan is going to be a real headache...

From what I saw, he did say it during a live stream, but many people believe he was joking. Now we just have to wait and see... haha
