Hi, I’m back to say that I absolutely loved this drama! I thought it was amazing, and even with 40 episodes, the plot flowed incredibly well. My favorite moments are so many that it’s hard to list them all, but here we go:

(1) The interrogation scene;
(2) All the scenes with dialogues or flirting between Duke Su and Fang Fei;
(3) Ruo Yao’s coming-of-age ceremony;
(4) The scene where they try to defame Fang Fei through the imperial fortune teller;
(5) The scene of the first kiss (though the kiss itself doesn't appear, the scene is beautiful);
(6) The Imperial Examination.

Anyway, the list is long hahahaha! ❤️

I've only watched 4 episodes so far, and I can already tell there's this intriguing atmosphere of a complex game between the Wei and Qiao families. Both protagonists are strategic, and they seem to have their goals firmly set. I'm really curious to see how this arranged marriage will unfold. Can't wait! <3

I only knew this drama by name and wasn’t familiar with the plot. I really enjoyed your review, especially since I don’t usually watch many Wuxia dramas, but I’m starting to take more interest in the genre.

The hardest part is resisting the urge to binge-watch everything. 😂 I'm already on episode 18, and so far, everything has been absolutely amazing! ❤️

Chen Zhe Yuan delivered an exceptional performance. I really enjoyed the interaction between the main leads, they had such amazing chemistry, it was a joy to watch. Did you cry during the last episodes? I cried my eyes out 😭 Even now, just thinking about it makes me tear up 😭

When I first got into the world of dramas (which is still pretty recent, haha), I was really interested in watching this one because I saw a YouTube video back then that briefly told their story.
But over time, I ended up prioritizing other dramas and never really gave this one a proper chance.
