A strong first episode that sets the story in motion, is easy to follow and has an excellent cast. (There's a lot to be said for linear storylines like this one as against confusing ones that warp time like 4 Minutes.) I wasn't bored for a moment. The 6.9 rating is ridiculous and far too low.
When they said they're moving into a dorm, I didn't think they'd be sharing sharing their room with other boys,…
Maybe, but it's a matter of wanting more independence and escaping the scrutiny of their parents as most teenagers would. I'm sure that despite the lack of privacy in their shared dorm, they'll find somewhere that will allow them to explore their romantic feelings for each other.
I just really love this series like a loooot, and episode 8 was beautiful, but with only 4 episodes left, how…
When they said they're moving into a dorm, I didn't think they'd be sharing sharing their room with other boys, even if it's just two others, but it does limit their ability to get romantic with each other so how that will be accomplished is something I'm really waiting for.
This was a terrific series because we became so invested in the close friendship between Taichi and Kohei that never quite made it to the boyfriend stage though by the end after Kohei declared he liked Taichi (again) and Taichi declared he liked Kohei, it was enough to see them embrace and hug each other, a much needed emotional release.
Calls for a Season 2 should not go unheeded. Someone said that the manga runs to 5 volumes so I'd like to see this run for 5 seasons, a not unreasonable request seeing the material is readily available and apart from the Takumi series, no JBL has had more than two. I say, do it!
You could say the entire episode was Gay Sex 101. Whatever, it epitomises what BL is and with such cute boys kissing and talking about having sex it was all sexy and charming at the same time, but the highlight was Ai's drunken confession to his parents that Yu is his boyfriend - it was hilarious, especially with Yu beside him looking embarrassed and letting Ai just get on with it.
This show is charming and delightful. It's similar to a Thai series (the length, the slow burn of the eventual romance) but without the sound effects. There's Wang's cheeky smile, his new understanding of Tian's childhood and how it affected him and seeing Tian react positively to Wang wanting to be closer to him and enjoying his company. Indeed, it's probably the best show to come out of Taiwan this year.
I think this is a first that everyone is complaining that the forthcoming probable kiss between Neal and Sea is coming too quickly. If the build-up to it is right, then it won't be.
everyone hating on this yet I find it adorable. great escape also from the much heavier darker stuff on right…
Hmm. Adorable isn't a word I'd use to describe this series but it's an easy brainless watch, a definite improvement on the first episode, with one pair now a couple and the main pair about to assume that status. I find those two girls an unnecessary distraction and one of them hoping to snare Kla is like reaching for the moon. I wonder when she'll get the message.
I can't answer that. On BLF, it says 10 eps. but of the existing 6 there, only Ep. 2 is available. On KissAsian.cx, only Eps. 1 to 4 have subs, Ep. 5 is raw, no further episodes. As I decided not to watch this series, I'm now pleased I made that decision.
I've put off watching this until now so before I decide whether to watch it or not I read the comments. The general consensus appears to be that it's a mess, full of drivel and badly directed. The Philippines would like so much to be part of the mainstream BL community but unfortunately it rarely comes up with really good stories with many of them centred on misery rather than fun, there are usually too many characters, the dialogue isn't that good and often are not focused enough. Hence, I think I'll give this a miss.
This is not as strong or compelling as the usual fare from One31 but as it's just the first episode I'll give it time to settle in and it should improve.
Hi, I can't find the 1st ep on the GMMTV Youtube channel... Anyone else from Australia have this issue?
I'm from Australia too and to solve the problem of watching the mainstream BL shows I found a terrific website called Boys Love Factory that has them all - series and movies - for the low price of $10 for 6 months or $20 for 1 year. I highly recommend it. You won't find better value or convenience anywhere else.
