Is there any Official streaming site that has this series for U.S. watchers? I know that DramaCool and KissKH…
You should seriously consider subscribing to Boys Love Factory which shows nearly all BL series and movies right after their official release. Ep. 7 of this series is already up with excellent subtitles. (Similarly for Addicted Heroin Ep. 6 Uncut.) It's $10 for 6 months and $20 for 12 months, a bargain in anyone's language and saves you from going to unofficial sites or subscribing to a multitude of websites.

The four guys are all cute one way or another (except for the colouring of Orca's hair), the music for the songs is most appealing and it would be nice if they were all fully fleshed out, however the lyrics at times verge on nonsensical. It made my heart flutter to see romance blossom between Sea and Neil beginning with one surprise kiss, but Sea needs to be more forthcoming.

Title Live in Love
Ep. 3 was a vast improvement on previous instalments except for the opening sequence where all of Cake's friends were putting in their twopence worth of whether Cake should get involved with Kla and being so doom-laden, it was just really annoying. The drama set in when the vicious social media posts began to appear and added to that were those two girls, Gina and Khing, the first of whom is the villain of the show and was unlikeable from her first appearance then only became worse when she photoshopped Kla with Khing, and when that was exposed, says she'll come up with another plan while Khing just passively lets her do what she wants instead of telling her to stop.

On the positive side, I liked how Cake and Kla's relationship developed as the previously mentioned events plus AF's declaration to Cake, its rejection and then AF's drunken melodramatic dream reenactment propelled them to becoming boyfriends sooner than they expected. Kla's considered and delicate approach to showing his love and true personality to Cake was most pleasing and beyond reproach, allowing Cake to go at his own pace. His height and ability to be Cake's guard and defender also came into play. As for Cake, I am relieved they didn't make him an insipid wuss, unable to stand up for himself and was sure of his good judgement and feelings. By the end with the ongoing threats and misadventures befalling Cake getting out of control, that led to the hilarious scene at the university where all the friends are acting as over-the-top bodyguards and Kla suggesting that Cake spends each night with him. However, that will all be left behind when they go to Phuket for a well-earned holiday and respite from all the nastiness, a change from Chang Mei and something to look forward to.

Title The Trainee
This was not your usual GMMTV gay romcom. It was set in a production house that produces commercials and revolved around five trainees and their mentors during which we learnt various terms and saw what goes into making these snippets that are foisted onto the public at large. In the midst of all this activity, two romances unfolded - one straight, Bah-Mee and Tae, trainees who were already a couple, and one gay, Jane (despite the name, a male) an Assistant Director and Ryan, another trainee. Naturally, they had their ups and downs but it worked out well for all of them. It was good-natured and entertaining, made for a change without sound effects that wouldn't have suited it anyway, and held one's interest. A solid 8 from me.

MDL rating is really out of this world. Don’t trust the rating and just give it a go for at least couple of…
The ratings are really off. I can't work out why this gets 7.7 and the superior Jack & Joker scores 6.9 which is just crazy. They should be reversed.

A strong first episode that sets the story in motion, is easy to follow and has an excellent cast. (There's a lot to be said for linear storylines like this one as against confusing ones that warp time like 4 Minutes.) I wasn't bored for a moment. The 6.9 rating is ridiculous and far too low.

When they said they're moving into a dorm, I didn't think they'd be sharing sharing their room with other boys,…
Maybe, but it's a matter of wanting more independence and escaping the scrutiny of their parents as most teenagers would. I'm sure that despite the lack of privacy in their shared dorm, they'll find somewhere that will allow them to explore their romantic feelings for each other.

For such a gruesome, complicated and perplexing drama, it was a lovely and satisfying ending.

I just really love this series like a loooot, and episode 8 was beautiful, but with only 4 episodes left, how…
When they said they're moving into a dorm, I didn't think they'd be sharing sharing their room with other boys, even if it's just two others, but it does limit their ability to get romantic with each other so how that will be accomplished is something I'm really waiting for.

But I'm confused. At first I thought they were a couple because he introduced him as his partner but also all…
Good question. It's ambiguous, to say the least. If they are, they're keeping it well hidden.

I'm just worried about the turtle living in such confined conditions; the humans can take care of themselves.

This was a terrific series because we became so invested in the close friendship between Taichi and Kohei that never quite made it to the boyfriend stage though by the end after Kohei declared he liked Taichi (again) and Taichi declared he liked Kohei, it was enough to see them embrace and hug each other, a much needed emotional release.

Calls for a Season 2 should not go unheeded. Someone said that the manga runs to 5 volumes so I'd like to see this run for 5 seasons, a not unreasonable request seeing the material is readily available and apart from the Takumi series, no JBL has had more than two. I say, do it!

On I Saw You in My Dream Sep 12, 2024
You could say the entire episode was Gay Sex 101. Whatever, it epitomises what BL is and with such cute boys kissing and talking about having sex it was all sexy and charming at the same time, but the highlight was Ai's drunken confession to his parents that Yu is his boyfriend - it was hilarious, especially with Yu beside him looking embarrassed and letting Ai just get on with it.

Title The On1y One
This show is charming and delightful. It's similar to a Thai series (the length, the slow burn of the eventual romance) but without the sound effects. There's Wang's cheeky smile, his new understanding of Tian's childhood and how it affected him and seeing Tian react positively to Wang wanting to be closer to him and enjoying his company. Indeed, it's probably the best show to come out of Taiwan this year.

I think this is a first that everyone is complaining that the forthcoming probable kiss between Neal and Sea is coming too quickly. If the build-up to it is right, then it won't be.

everyone hating on this yet I find it adorable. great escape also from the much heavier darker stuff on right…
Hmm. Adorable isn't a word I'd use to describe this series but it's an easy brainless watch, a definite improvement on the first episode, with one pair now a couple and the main pair about to assume that status. I find those two girls an unnecessary distraction and one of them hoping to snare Kla is like reaching for the moon. I wonder when she'll get the message.
