Brian, the black spider, gave Diew such a fright that it set the plot in motion, ultimately landing Diew right…
It was clever of you to interconnect that Brian is a spider without mentioning it, but more to the point, it's extraordinary that it managed to get from Diew's drawing class to his room.
Ep. 3 felt like it was just a bridge to the next episode with nothing much happening except Hero and Pop are much closer, Hero broke up with his girlfriend and that night slept with Pop for whom he had a desire to kiss. I expect the next episode to be better.
The most touching and beautiful episode so far. In the tent, alone on the mountain, Taishin is unreservedly and unequivocally in love with Takara who has brought Taishin out of his shell and made his life happier and more fulfilling. In the process, this has cracked Takara's aloofness and seeming indifference to those around him and melted his heart so that for the first time he feels something special for another person allowing him to at last fall in love with this cute awkward boy who adores him so much that he can't help himself but kiss him. This is progress. They are good for each other. Behold, true love has blossomed between them.
This was surprisingly boring, all cute and fluff and nothing of substance. This really needed some Meena and Mut…
I agree, it needed a little something to make it more 'special'. As much as I love these two - nobody pouts more agreeably than Rak and Mut is the sexiest and most loving of boyfriends - I couldn't give it any more than a 7.5 even with the picturesque setting.

After a sweet moment where Neil gave Sea his necklace, why is Sea suddenly so antagonistic the next day? I thought…
I've no idea why MosBank made a cameo appearance (naturally, so sweet together... and what a contrast) but regardless, you should definitely continue watching Sunset Vibes.
What a splendid and frankly tear-prompting movie-length finale to one of the best BL cooking shows I've ever seen with the most scrumptious food one could hope for served up for us as eye candy. It was character driven all the way making for a totally engrossing viewing experience.
I just want to highlight the delightful sequence before the opening titles. It's this sort of incomparable silliness that GMMTV does so well. Oh, and I like Jane's response to Ryan just before the end credits; so in character.
A quintessentially Asian movie in its conception, it is a mixture of drama, action, humour and pathos. Han Min is a police officer, very handsome and straight, Mao is cute, lovable and gay but dead. Due to Han Min picking up a red envelope, he is forced to marry his spirit, after which he is able to see and converse with him. This eventually leads to solving the mystery of who killed him and cracking a case involving criminals as they are interrelated. It's wonderfully done and most entertaining. Highly recommended. 8.5 from me.
First, the costume Lin should wear with that exotic necklace: certainly not casual clothing, it needs something more traditional with bare skin here and there. We don't see what Lin found on his phone but I bet it's stunning. Moving on, as soon as Lin decides to check the jewellery himself and not go with Sun, I knew instantly a disaster would follow and sure enough after he leaves with the necklace, a car with blinding headlights comes hurtling at him. Who's going to save him this time?
Enemy stepbrothers to lovers. Okay. JT with his aloofness, stern looks and thin lips is the epitome of the straight dude. But what does he do: 1) suggests Truth or Dare and doesn't participate; 2) eavesdrops; 3) waits for WS to be picked, he chooses Dare which is to kiss the first person who approaches the group, then JT arises and walks towards them so WS has to kiss him for 10 seconds and allows him to without any resistance — Quelle surprise. At home later that night, WS goes to JT's room to apologise whereupon JT backs WS against a wall and kisses him — a bigger Quelle surprise. Frustratingly, mid-kiss the scene is cut and the episode ends. That's one way to get viewers invested to see how that plays out. It works too.
I do like how this drama is going and how they’re focusing on personal growth but I wish there was a bit more…
You're right in saying there has been no progression with their romance and with two episodes to go they haven't much time left to make it happen. Of course, I haven't read the manga either so I don't know whether it will or not or if this realisation covers part or all of it. If the former, then it certainly deserves a second series and if the latter, I hope by the end of this series we get the 'I like you' by both boys followed by nice kisses, but I'm not holding my breath.
The low rating is surprising and the age difference some people are discussing doesn't worry me. It was to be expected that the Thai version would be different in its approach to the story but so far it's keeping to the broad outline we've come to know. I personally like August as Hero very much - the role suits him to a tee - but I still have reservations with Mac as Pop who as I said before lacks charisma and with the enormous pool of talent to choose from I'm sure someone better could have been cast in the role, however, we're stuck with him. There isn't much chemistry going on between them but it will probably improve with time.
Not much has been said of the other (yet-to-be) couple, Only and Tiger. They're friends but Only likes to tease Tiger and implies he's interested in taking things further with him. Newyear as Only is a real cutie. I forecast his future is bright and I look forward to seeing him in a lead role.
But WHY is Takara attracted to Taishin in the first place?
I suppose that's a valid question, but in lieu of being able to ask Takara directly, it could be for any number of reasons. As a bit of a loner, perhaps Takara found that the unlikely friendship that Taishin formed with him was something he felt like encouraging or perhaps once it began, he decided that Taishin was cute and had possibilities. With Takara being secretly gay and so many girls drooling after him, hanging out with Taishin poses a small deterrent to them and it's not as if he's actively seeking out a gay classmate so with Taishin presenting himself and declaring his feelings for Takara, it solved a problem he didn't know existed.
I'm finding this series decidedly odd, almost as if it's a parody of the BL genre without realising it. I realise, as someone pointed out, three different things are going on, depending on the costumes they're wearing, but still, it's all a bit silly.
The dynamic between the two boys is unlike any I've seen before but it's sweet and endearing. Taishin is finally coming out of his shell. For the first time, he was more animated and truer to himself. Takara is Takara, in that I mean he remains a little aloof but attentive. He wants his relationship with Taishin to work as he understands where Taishin is coming from even though he (Taishin) is still unsure if he's suitable to be Takara's boyfriend and realises Taishin adores him. That's enough for the relationship to flourish.
