I agree, the subtitles are a mess - that also extends to the title - the editing leaves a lot to be desired and the names of characters, even the MLs, are barely mentioned. What is it that Pluem has done to cycle through so many girlfriends? And what's that continuous reference to 'the necklace' he goes on about it in connection with one nameless girl? If it weren't for the description, it would be even harder to follow than it already is. I'm surprised WeTV let such a subpar program go to air like this. The basics are there, it's just not put together well. All aspects of this show better pick up fast or else it's going to lose a lot of viewers and get a very low rating.
On Cooking Crush Feb 20, 2024
Overall, I enjoyed this series as it followed the ups and downs of Prem and his friends doing their best to win a cooking contest with a few love stories thrown in for good measure. I have to admit my favourite couple were Fyre and Dynamite (Neo and Aungpao) whose rocky road to true love was most entertaining. Aungpao is quite a find. He's cute and talented. I hope to see more of him and he could certainly become a ML in a future series.

It's just far too complicated to voice an opinion about anything but it seems to me in Ep. 9 things didn't move forward, there were a few revelations and back at the house where they shot the film they're at each other tooth and nails. For me, Tee is still the main villain and equally Por is horrible for the way he treated Non.

This is a lot better than I thought it would be and won't be put off by the negative comments it has received, most of which I think are unjustified. I have just watched Eps. 1 - 3 and everyone on the show is very nice though I found Juju objectionable in both looks and personality. Fueang having confessed he likes Krom and Krom having told Too, his best friend, he likes Fueang, I'm sure it's not going to take long before the two become a couple. Too, by the way, is really cute. Kimmon as Kor I mostly remember from Gen Y and here plays a more mature role, a fellow actor like Fueang. The setup and storyline for Krom and Fueang are well thought out but this early on in the series, who knows what's in store for them. The main thing is that I'm enjoying it and look forward to seeing how it all develops.

I think some people from another fandoms doing this on purpose. I remember same thing happened to What the Duck…
Even so, he could later decide that being a monk is not for him and return to civilian life though after what they went through in Season 2, it would be hard to return to the lightness and comedy of Season 1 to round it off.

What the Duck, Season 1, which I saw in 2018, was delightful and funny. Season 2 went seriously off key then derailed; it was a mess. There's supposed to be a final third season but I seriously doubt it will ever be made after all this time. Why do I say that? Look at how it began in S01E01 - they're living as a couple, then it quickly dives into a flashback where they both meet for the first time and it continues on from there.
On 1000 Years Old Feb 15, 2024
Something about the production and styling that's not quite right with this show puts me off scoring it with an 8 so I'm only giving it 7.5, but I might increase it if there is an improvement with more effort put into atmosphere and special effects. The storyline isn't bad, the two MLs are nothing to rave about though they seem to be a match for each other but overall it has my interest so I'll keep watching.

I'd describe this episode as positive cheesy, if there is such a thing. It had me smiling all the way through it. Everyone is moving forward, and that's a good thing.

In Ep. 8, the film is finished and has its premiere to critical acclaim with Por taking the directing and writing credits, though we know Non wrote the script. But some episodes back didn't Por die while lying on the couch with a wooden branch stuck in his body in the house where it was filmed, so how come he's still alive? Also, did Non and Mr. Keng escape the chaos and toxicity they were enveloped in for the idyllic countryside somewhere as we saw briefly or were they killed? Finally, we don't know how the remaining boys were able to leave the country house and return to the city as it was never shown. It's the non-linear way these shows are edited that makes them so hard to follow.

I love this sort of low-key series with immensely likeable MLs. Have just watched the first three episodes. Kai is so self-assured. He states at the beginning he's gay and reminds Hiro that he's going to marry him, though he realises Hiro is straight. Undaunted, he doesn't push things and is very laidback, willing to bide his time until Hiro feels the same as he does. Much like Ever 9 with Yi Ping in Anti Reset (having watched the first three episodes directly before seeing this, hence the comparison), Kai is having a salubrious and transformative effect on Hiro (and like Ever 9, Kai is a wiz in the kitchen, which is much appreciated) and he's just going with the flow. Kai has already claimed him and Hiro seems content with that. Their relationship will only improve and become closer. (It has to. There are only three more episodes. Too short, really.)

I really like this series. There's something about it that appeals to me a lot. I suppose you could call Chu Yi Ping a misanthrope in that he dislikes general society and appears emotionless. All that changes when Ever 9 enters his life, a human-like robot, given to him by his uncle as a caretaker, and he begins to transform himself for the better. It's only Ep. 3 but already, unlikely as it may be, they are beginning to have feelings for each other and there have been lots of hints that Ever 9 has more features that can be unlocked that can take this further. All I can say at this point is that I want my own Ever 9 and who wouldn't: he's cute, gentle and adorable, he cooks and cleans and takes great care of his master. I wonder how long it will take for Ever 9 to be a reality.

This is just interminable. I think there's hardly a person watching this mess who really knows what's going on. I certainly don't. There are too many characters and it's so disjointed.
On 7 Days Before Valentine Feb 8, 2024
Don't know about being from the same universe, just a different timeline, or being each other's reapers, but given those things, when Sun saw Q on the plane and they called each other Q, it makes sense, though then communicating with each other telepathically was perhaps a step too far, however, it made for a nice ending.

Title Happy Ending
This was one of the weaker productions from Strongberry which should have been released as a single 20 minute show rather than being cut into three tiny episodes. I was also dissatisfied with the ending which left things up in the air.

On Love for Love's Sake Feb 6, 2024
It was well done, it had a novel storyline, the two leads were lovely, similar in looks and together were an adorable couple. However, the problem for me was its disjointedness and the often odd things the characters said. If it was really about love for love's sake, both characters were in their own ways depressed and detached from those around them for the most part and though they didn't realise it when they first came into each other's orbit, they needed love to make each other happy. It was Myung Ha's mission to make Yeo Woon happy, and having done that by having him fall in love with him, he inexplicably decides to break things off and drowns himself but then finds himself alive again and then it's Yeo Woon's task to make Myung Ha happy. They rush around frantically trying to find each other and having done so, fall into each other's arms, kiss and go to the beach with friends. They are both now happy and in love. For them, love makes the world go round. Game over.

That no one has dobbed Tee in yet as being the person who got Non and the others involved with the crooked scamming operation is surprising. Even more surprising is that Tee has managed to keep himself above suspicion. Por showed himself to be arrogant and nasty but as we saw previously, he will die after the backstory with Non is over. I'm looking forward to Tee getting his comeuppance sooner rather than later.
