Alright, there was not a cat to be seen and the title is ridiculous, but aside from that, I'm going to dissent from the majority opinion and say that the last two episodes brought the diverse aspects of the storyline together very nicely and made for a satisfying conclusion. That's why I increased my score to 8.5.
A word about the translator earbuds: I asked Google Copilot about them and it answered thus: 'In the Korean BL series “Love is like a cat,” the actors used earpieces that facilitated instant translation between Thai and Korean. Interestingly, such earpieces do indeed exist in real life!' It then provided the following information:-

I know many people are disappointed that after Songjam went through the mirror he ended up back in the past, however, one of the persons he lived with was responsible for the unfinished novel that Aksorn was trying to find the author of. Songjorm changes his name, studies to become a doctor and helps to deliver Akson as a baby then waits for twenty years to meet him. That's where we're at now. It's not ideal but I wouldn't put it past the writers to contrive that somehow after halfway through the final episode (probably during another atmospheric event) we could have them the same age in the same universe. We'll see.
Rather chaotic and outright funny at times, this is a quirky series that has a lot going for it. I get the the feeling that when Jin Woo kissed Ki Sub, it could have been the first time Ki Sub kissed a boy and might also have been his first kiss, despite the multitude of girls he dated briefly that were of no consequence. Jin Woo is still determined even after the kiss not to admit he likes Ki Sub and I think the next step in his conquest will be to inveigle his way into Jin Woo's bed. As for the other couple, we don't know yet why Balg Eum has such an antipathy towards his former boyfriend In Ho, but again, I have a feeling that relations will eventually thaw between them and they will reconcile.
Peem telling Phu he's mean (which he's not - among other character flaws) and later remembering how he described Phu's adorable facial features then leaning in for a long kiss are the type of contradictions that don't seem to matter in a show like this. There's no real storyline, just a bunch of attractive university guys in two different faculties who have become friends, couples develop and they become boyfriends and so it continues. What's not to like? It's wholesome, simple, entertaining fare with lots of local colour that's a joy to watch.
I think you can describe this romance as bittersweet and even though the love between Pun and Yoh was heartfelt and genuine in the end despite never kissing each other, it seemed to work in the context of the show. There should have been more extended scenes of their past life and life when they decided to be together a year later until Yoh passed away, but it was certainly a different take on vampires. The story dragged a bit at times but was nicely done and well cast, particularly Pun's otherworldly sweetness and calmness.
It really isn't that bad and though it was touted as BL there's scarcely a hint of it so far but if they're thinking of bringing it in for the last two episodes I'd say it would be a mistake. What has bound this mini-series together is Deok Gu the dog whom Uno meets at the beginning by saving him and develops a responsibility for him. Naturally, he's devastated that Deok Gu is infested with heartworms and needs to be put down. It's touching then to see Uno take him out for a gentle treat ensconced in the sidecar of his motorcycle and open his heart out to him. I hope the finale is not messed up and reaches a logical and satisfying conclusion.
Two episodes in, the series is yet to pick up pace and won't until Shirasaki loosens up, gains confidence, starts to enjoy himself and smiles more. He's definitely more good-looking than the well-known star Hayama who looks a bit emaciated and his hair is a mess. There is little chemistry between them. How that translates to the manga they're filming is important. As it's a love story, they have to show they're in love and convey some of the excitement of first love. Hayama's suggestion of working on all that off the film set is a good idea so one hopes that shortly we'll see all this developing.
Such a gloomy, melancholy series with troubled, dispirited MLs who can't decide whether they love each other and if they should or should not live together. The ending seems to suggest they just might work things out to their mutual satisfaction. Regardless, the acting was good and the atmosphere was suitably grey.
The great thing about this show is that it's so good-natured with a touch of silliness. There are too many people to remember all the names properly but they're dividing into couples one way or another. This is definitely my comfort show.
Eps. 7 and 8 are so different. In Ep. 7, Uno sprains his ankle and Dae Byeol shows his caring side. The ending was sweet with a love song over the end credits. Ep. 8 centres on a neighbouring property where two rough types illegally breed dogs. Uno and two others go to investigate at night and the instrumental music over the end credits is suitably dramatic with a sense of urgency. The story is developing unexpectedly but I like where it's going. I can't wait for Eps. 9 and 10.
The boys are adorable, especially Moo who I find irresistible; Moo's flirting and pickup lines are the best; and it's light and fluffy. In short, it's everything I look for in a BL series and when it comes to this type of show, GMMTV does it better than anyone else. I'm just puzzled why it's called Only Boo! when his name is Moo. I wonder how long Kang can hold out before he says he likes Moo and agrees to be his boyfriend.
Not only is Khem gorgeous, but since the show began, he's matured and shown himself to be loving, kind, empathetic, resourceful and a genuine team player. Wela is very lucky to have him as his boyfriend. I'm also shipping Seiji and Pan now. The entire crew has put in their all to make the special night a success and this will be the focus of the last episode which will also see a little bit of drama, however, I'm sure it will work out well for everyone.
Cute, fluffy, a bit goofy... these are the right adjectives for this show. It surprises me that so many people are dissing it or even dropping this series and criticising it so much. For heaven's sake, it's light entertainment and as far as I'm concerned that has been achieved. All we need now is for the romance to start but it's looking unlikely at this stage. It will be interesting to see what triggers it.
The story almost came to a standstill but Tai and Kram made up for it with their romantic scenes. Such a beautiful episode and the countryside setting enhances it. Doesn't get much better than this.
Khem's aunt and Madame Freya's sister is nothing but a frustrated, party-pooping, embittered spinster who has nothing better to do than try and close the club with all her frivolous calls to the police to investigate supposed wrongdoings within it. One would think after doing this a few times the police would wake up to her shenanigans and ignore her. She's like those people who gain satisfaction from making prank calls and wasting people's time. It's nothing short of ridiculous and that it has come to the point it has is, on the face of it, absurd. Furthermore, her actions have only alienated Khem more and for her to think that it would convince Khem to come back and live with his father, which he objected to strongly as he has done in the past, is just idiotic. I regard this aspect of the storyline as a misjudgment of the scriptwriters and lacks credulity.
