If you're lucky you'll be able to see it as a single 15 minute video as I did. If you can't, you're not missing out on much. The plot is minimal while the action and dialogue are stilted. The 2 MLs are tall and similarly attractive and eventually fall in love, but as this comes from mainland China, it ends with an almost kiss. All things considered, as the portrayal of gay love is banned there, I'm amazed it even went that far.

I'm really enjoying this show. It's moving along at a decent pace and the plot is quite original and often funny, heightened by the reckless use of sound effects during the comic parts, nor can I complain about the acting or the various pairings that all work well. It's definitely leading up to some dramatic climaxes which will probably resolve problems the main characters face, so get ready for a bumpy ride.
On My Love Mix-Up! Jun 15, 2024
Goodness me, I can't understand all the negativity towards Gemini and Fourth and also towards GMMTV for what I consider a most delightful series that has all the hallmarks of a popular hit with everything going for it in terms of cast and production. Sure, I didn't expect Atom to start falling for Kongthap so soon while telling the girl he was secretly interested in who was instantly supportive, but so be it. We know that both boys can sing (we saw that in MSP) but their dance duet in which their voices blended so beautifully has already become a viral music video on X, formerly Twitter, so all you naysayers, put a sock in it and just enjoy what's on offer. Is that so hard?

Despite the overwhelming opinion that Joe is in love with Ming, I still can't feel that is the case. Joe even tells Sol he's not in love with Ming as he doesn't have the time to love anyone, but as a person, he certainly likes Sol more than Ming whom he always addresses as Mr. and from whom he keeps an emotional distance. It is Ming who forces himself on Joe and he never makes the first move. Indeed, any hint of romance with Sol was hindered by Ming from the moment he became aware of it. Because of the monetary agreement he made, Joe is at Ming's beck and call for a year to do his bidding whether it is to cook for him or have sex with him, an invidious situation under any circumstance but one that was forced by necessity. Another reason why I don't think Joe is in love with Ming is that the latter's brother knows about the deal they made which he would like to see kept. However, Joe responded by saying he wonders if Ming will keep it and will be able to leave him for good. What's interesting now is that after Ming's meditation with the guru when he realised that the living Joe is the same person as the dead Joe, he gets a call they've discovered Joe's body. How that is going to affect things is anybody's guess.

Keeping the original two words of the title, I would have called this series 'Love by the Sea', which makes a lot more sense. That aside, it's got off to a great start with two very attractive leads and of course, very quickly, Tongrak will fall for the charm offensive of Mahasamut. I mean, who wouldn't? Throughout the 10 episodes, no doubt a lot will happen, both romantically and interspersed with various incidents and adventures. I'm up for all of it and just wish I could be in Tongrak's place with the handsome and sexy Mahasamut attending to my every need.

this looks a lot like only friends so I'm gonna watch it...I just hope I don't get traumatised again, I've been…
It's nothing like Only Friends and won't be sex-driven or have the intense standoffs and dramas that permeated that show.
On Knock Knock, Boys! Jun 5, 2024
Low key, enjoyable... I think this will proceed at a leisurely pace with lots of situations as the boys work to hook up Almond with Jumper who, to use an old-fashioned term, is a regular dreamboat and not at all shy about showing off his athletic body. Of the housemates, I find Latte the most appealing, but they're all nice. The way Ep. 2 finished was sort of startling.

Have we ever seen someone so confident and forthright in their love for their boyfriend as Moo demonstrates? It's very refreshing. As far as the warnings his mother and Shone made, he sees their point but decides honesty is the best policy, which in most cases works best. However, I feel that something will go amiss pretty soon but it won't be earth-shattering and will probably be resolved fairly quickly.
On Living with Him May 31, 2024
In the end, it wasn't difficult for Ryo to say 'I like you' and thereafter, it was all sweetness, light and happiness for the two boys... as it should be, though the kissing needs to improve. The series was no great shakes and not much happened most of the time but it was pleasant enough and reached a satisfying conclusion.

It's remarkably silly, fun, and lighthearted and more importantly, it has a decent storyline. I'm quite prepared to go along with whatever is dished up. The costumes, especially for the boys [in Ep. 1], are great and I like the idea of the parallel universes in which vampires and humans live; that's a new concept. The easiest way, of course, for the vampires to transition into the dead bodies of humans is for them to die in a car accident, which from years of watching BL series, is the most frequent cause of death. At least in this case, the humans get to live again and nobody knows the difference.

I love this series, but this ep didn't do much for me, except for all the hotness and cuteness and lack of clothing.First…
Just from the way she behaves in her manner and talk, she's all business and being matter of fact and doesn't exhume the slightest hint of romance or affection towards Yok, so he must be dimwitted to think it's worth the effort to pursue her. Besides, in looks she's not a patch on the doc who is far cuter than she is. Remember when he laid his head on Yok's lap and looked up at him with those adorable puppy eyes? Talk about irresistible. Yet again Yok was ready to lean down and kiss him but as always, something prevented him. I can't wait until they kiss!
On Living with Him May 25, 2024
Like 'At 25:00 in Akasaka', here's another boy who can't say those three simple words "I like you" and spends the entire series so far chastising himself for his lack of courage. It's becoming a bit monotonous. Of course, it will come together in the final episode next week but really, watching inhibited Japanese boys one after the other mooning over their crush for almost the entirety of a series with nothing else much happening is both frustrating and fairly tedious.
On At 25:00, in Akasaka May 24, 2024
'Ongoing slow burn drama' is a good way to describe this series. From one episode to the next, Yuki and Asami internalise their feelings but are hesitant to say them directly. It's why things don't move along much. Still, it's worth persevering with.

A charming, amiable series with attractive leads, I watched all episodes in one sitting and got rather concerned in Ep. 5 but not to worry, things worked out for the best. That it ended with a cliffhanger came as a surprise so a second series must be on the way.

Just got done watching episode 1.....This is just a long a** ad. Nothing else
Not really. There is an attempt at an ongoing story of some sort, with the kicker being they need to use the inhaler at certain moments.

Title Make a Wish
I think this was the first BL series with ghosts and angels, which added an extra dynamic to the plot. That said, it was thoughtfully done and everything that happened was explained properly though occasionally it was a bit forced. The only jarring character was Dr. Nongning whose antics were over the top and in the last episode with the appearance of Narin (who was previously Angel Krit), she was carrying on that it was her son but she's not married and not once did she interact with him; I can't work that out. Regardless, I thought this was well done, with lovely special effects and an otherwise excellent cast. Fluke as Angel Krit was far more animated than usual and displayed a comic talent earlier hitherto he had not shown. I enjoyed this and it fits nicely into six hour-long episodes, so it gets a standard 8.0 from me.

16 EP are bit too mush for a story like this.
Actually, there isn't much of a story in this series, it just follows the lives and loves of a group of male university students. As such, it could go on indefinitely, but they've decided on 16 episodes. Great. It's a light, feel-good show, which makes it a pleasant weekly diversion. I'm all for it.

Very difficult to forecast how this drama will progress but I would hate to see the reincarnated Joe return to Ming who was responsible for destroying his previous life.
