Overall, this was an enjoyable series that led up to a sweet and satisfying ending. The two leads were attractive and adorable together. My only reservation was Achi's conversation with his manager after his relationship with Ji went public when he said that Achi would lose fans, work and sponsors, to which Achi should have replied that they would no doubt be replaced by other ones. A nice touch in the last episode was when Achi gave Ji a confidence boost with his imminent orthopedic surgery and I liked the first song Achi sang in his concert. I gave this show a solid 8.

Oh, dear. So many negative comments. Admittedly, Mew as Uno displays all the charm of a wooden pole and his acting so far is fairly wooden as well, but given his present circumstances which he's not happy with as can be seen with the pained expression on his face, there's really no other way to play the part. However, things will perk up once he starts working at the cafe with the manager who appears to be a fan of his. On the plus side, we're getting two episodes per week.

Despite Yuan saying his love infatuation with Qian is over I don't believe it for a second. I think he's using reverse psychology on Qian and as Lili is now with San Pang whether Qian likes it or not, it allows him to open his heart to Yuan. No one else is in Qian's life for whom he has feelings. All he has to do is become less inhibited and when he does, Yuan will respond with all the fervour in his body.

It may be an understatement but being gay does have its problems. In this particular instance regarding Fueng who is a well-known actor with a big fan base many of whom are girls, his sexuality was of no concern until several intersecting issues put it in the spotlight which then had to be addressed. After some discussion, it was decided that honesty is the best policy in which he was mostly vindicated with as much fallout as could be expected though not too detrimental to sabotage his career. Fortunately, there were people around him who gave him the support he required to get through this ordeal and the press conference he gave was an object lesson in how to counteract any negativity that may arise. Emotionally and dramatically, this episode was well-written and acted, leaving viewers more than satisfied with the outcome.

In the end, it added up to very little after a slightly promising start, after which it pursued the girl in the film, which turned out to be a red herring, and as for Ryo's unrequited love for Hikaru, it remained as such. However, one could speculate that when Hikaru took Ryo's hand and held it in his hand he finally realised Ryo had feelings for him, but even so, Ryo withdrew his hand leaving it all up in the air. It was all very subdued and restrained as if the producer was stereotyping Japanese behaviour making it one of the dullest JBL series I've ever seen - without the BL.

I would just like to say, that I totally called it; that the aunt was the evil mastermind behind these raids :)
At this point, it looks like it couldn't be anybody other than the prim, disapproving aunt who is behind the constant police raids. What a nasty bitch she is!

I just watched the first two episodes and quite like this show though the romance has yet to begin. Mew hasn't been seen [in a BL series] since TharnType and here he plays a different type of character which he nails. It's rare to have a bilingual series but it works. My main gripe is that the episodes are too short and should be released at the rate of two a week, not weekly.

Regarding the music, it was the night scene with Kram, Tai and the fireflies when we heard the instrument that sounded like a recorder that evoked ATOTS for me as soon as I heard it. I don't know about the rest of the score but I doubt it's Boy Sompob as he only writes and sings songs.

That's the trouble with acronyms: there's too many of them with different meanings. NC meaning "no children" does make sense, however, in this context.

I don't think anybody noticed that at about 28 minutes in, playing in the background on the glockenspiel was the main song from the great Pinoy series 'My Day'. It must have been intentional though why I'm not sure, unless it was to accentuate that Pluem is falling for Prod and Prod is delighted at the development.

The acronym NC - Non-Consensual - is used far too liberally and incorrectly. Most sex scenes ARE consensual and to say otherwise is blatantly false. The term that should be used is NSFW - Not Safe For Work - which according to Techopedia 'is meant to warn a potential viewer that the content is not suitable for viewing in a work environment or near children, usually because because of sexual or other explicit content.' Two guys kissing does not constitute NSFW either, it basically applies to porn of which there is none on any BL show.

The ubiquity of phones and their ability to record video coupled with social media can be so toxic! But we already know that. Then there's the paparazzi who devote their time to film celebrities who specialise in serving up dirt and salacious rumours. They are like vermin and should be treated as such, though I don't understand why Fueng or his manager didn't respond to the question about his sexuality that it is none of their business. Whether you are a star or an ordinary person, everyone is entitled to have their privacy respected. In this instance, the reporter had malicious intent but we don't know why and made a big effort to track down Sarut and bribe him with money to get hold of a 10 year old clip with him Fueng. I mean, really? They were school kids then and it's a time for experimentation. Sarut and Fueng had a brief romance which the former ended because he was bored and decided he wanted to date girls while Fueng discovered he was gay. It's past history and the affair is irrelevant to Fueng's present life... but the gossip papers thrive on this rubbish. As someone said, the drama will quickly pass and a new one will take its place. It is as true for this scene as it is for politics except that with the latter there's a lot more of it. Under the circumstances, Fueng and Krom are holding up under the strain and credit is due to Krom for being so understanding and supportive but more drama will follow until it's all resolved. Stay tuned.

Even for SF, this show was a bit far-fetched with its portrayal of an all-too-human AI robot. That said, I was really into this series and like Yi Ping with whom I have much in common and can identify, feel that if I had my own Ever 9 my life would be happier and more complete. The expected happy ending was arrived at with tears, angst and longing seven years later, thanks to his uncle, immediately falling into the rhythm of life they had once experienced, almost too neat and perfect but aesthetically it makes sense. A beautiful, thoughtful series that made my BL soul happy and content.

For the life of me, I can't understand the fuss that was generated over Ep. 3 which mostly concentrated on Khem and Wela. As the No. 1 Host, Wela has a job to do and he does it pragmatically, sort of with a calm resignation that though it might be distasteful, he plays along with guests as he should, much to the chagrin of Khem who knows that it makes him jealous and when together makes him possessive. That leads to Khem asking Wela to be his boyfriend with the proviso that it has to be kept secret. They seal it with a passionate kiss. All well and good.

Khem and Wela took their mutual attraction to each other to the next level in Ep. 2 after the incident with the female guest who plied Wela with drinks till he was drunk and was all over him until Khem correctly rescued him. If that's what it takes to be a host, I think that goes above and beyond the call of duty, nor would I call it prostitution; it's just the way things work there. These privileged, forward, lustful women take a shine to these handsome boys and feel they can do anything they want within the confines of public propriety and management encourages it, all for the sake of profit. I find it rather gross but it was right for Khem to intervene when he did and it was good to see security forcefully evict her kicking and screaming on her way out.

Meanwhile, another classmate of Khem and his close friend, Pan, suddenly found himself employed there as well. He too had a moment with one of the other boys and after their accidental kiss, the boy was hoping to plant a proper one on Pan's lips but he was too slow both times, being interrupted by another host. I feel an imminent romance coming on between these two.

Not knowing where Wela lived, Khem took him to his place where they allowed their passions to be unleashed and in the morning Kham drove Wela home where he discovered that his mother runs a simple restaurant and he volunteered to help out for the day. What I liked about all this was that it displayed the innate niceness and decency of both boys. Wela's mother also approved of their friendship and by the time Khen left to drive to his home, the boys had learnt more about each other outside of university and work. This understanding is important in the development of their relationship. I'll watch Ep. 3 tomorrow.

I'm a bit late coming to this and just watched the first episode. Have to say this is the best Thai BL series to start in quite a while with superb production values but the revelation is Shogun as Khemthis whose beauty is almost mesmerising (and also his acting debut), so no wonder he gets whistles and people stop and stare at him as he passes by, causing a mild sensation among the university population. He turns up at Deep Night Nightclub where no one knows his mother owns it and he's put to work as a parking attendant. Then there's his interactions with Wela. It only became apparent to me later that it was the same boy he was sparring with during a university tutorial but here he's wearing glasses. For some reason, Khem has fallen for Wela and I gather things will get steamy between them by Ep. 3. It's off to a great start.

I have to say I'm finding this series particularly dull. There's little fun in watching awkward teenagers negotiating their non-existent love lives in the hope that they may develop, yet here we are at Ep. 6 (out of 8) with Ryo not saying to Hikaru the immortal words, "I like you" because he's afraid to, though with good reason, as Hikaru has been pursuing a girl the whole time only to be rejected by her. It's telling that he said to her it's a pity Ryo isn't a girl and later he was relieved when Ryo dismissed the notion that he did indeed like him (more than a friend). What's a boy to do now?

Hmm. No one has a positive thing to say about this series, nor do I. The first episode was pathetic but the BL aspect will develop soon. Will that save it? I'll wait and see.

I think this is getting sillier as it progresses with no momentum in the love stakes for anyone, nor was it helped by the subtitles which left something to be desired.
