The Reddit community seems somewhat more active: https://www.reddit.com/r/KDRAMA/comments/ohamht/love_ft_marriage_and_divorce_2_episodes_9_10That…
Thanks, @greenleaf. I love how savage the Reddit community is about the fake out previews. My favorite line: "and yet we are still here begging for more spits on our faces 😂."
I could be wrong, but I think Reddit is predominantly men and there are more women on this thread. which could explain the very different tones.

I hope those scenes are fake outs. I can’t handle all of these gross mistresses getting exactly what they want.…
I'm curious why you don't hold the doctor (or the other husbands) more responsible for their own marriages and families. I don't like Ah Mi, but she's just young and naive. Perhaps she really did think he would leave his wife. The doctor was playing all of the women., including his stepmom. He's easily the worst.

Si Eun and her ex - better for the kids ultimately if they co-parent, even if the kids don't want to have anything…
I think that in his own feeble way, he was trying to make up for his less than upfront way of disclosing his own affair. Didn't want yet another woman blindsided. With Ga Bin confirming his suspicions, it's kind of like a hot potato - the need to pass it on.

I just watched this and keep wondering if husband didnt catch them in hotel how long the affair would keep going.…
I agree - nobody plays the everyday guy with as much heartbreaking vulnerability and pathos as LSK. Incredible acting in Parasite - 180 degrees different.

Love their apartment too. Do you suppose SPY will reenact her mother's playbook exactly and refuse to allow him…
I hope for Ji Ha's sake, yes. But the MIL is the wild card. She might take him out or Ah Mi out. Seems like the ghost's purpose is to just sit and glare.

Episode 9 was tearful… sad Pi-Young and mother didn’t have more one on one time to reconcile! Glad that Pi-Young…
Si Eun and her ex - better for the kids ultimately if they co-parent, even if the kids don't want to have anything to do with him now. I wonder if seeing SPY's grief and guilt over the estrangement might prompt Si Eun's kids to soften. Just a question - no need to rain insults on me for even suggesting that the kids might not always be so angry with their dad.

Am super happy that Yu Shin will manipulate himself into being entangled with a psycho gf and psycho stepmom once…

I think those scenes are fake outs. 40's husband does not want to split.
It's not up to him. I agree that there are a lot of fake out scenes that waste too much time, but now we're seeing Pi Young and the MIL aligning against him.

We’re already halfway through the second season, I thought by now the wives would either be focusing on revenge…
Yeah, this is now the second half, and we're still not closer to any resolutions. A whole hour for the mother's passing and Seo Ban to be revealed as the older son.

What was the purpose of the "mutism" when Pi Young apparently recovers her voice in the preview?

Disappointed in Sa Hun for ducking out of the memorial to visit Song Won.

Loved your comments. Speaking of a solidarity between women, did you see Misty?
Misty is intense, even more so than Mine. Worth watching. Would love to hear your opinion about the ending.

I feel like this show really had an impact on me not only as a woman, but especially as a wlw. If you’re looking…
And the representation of motherhood!

Yes, the writer needs to move things along NOW. This is not Voice - we're not getting a season 3. The ghost needs…
Remember the woman who was fired? She said he started the affair because his wife deceived him and now uses him as an ATM. She said something not too different from what Song Won said in her mind when Hye Ryung was slapping her husband back at their home.

Why would the step mom try to poison her when she knows that an autopsy would find her responsible?
She was a nurse who calculated how to kill her husband. Perhaps she's not dosing her with poison but something else that would impair her functions, leaving her helpless enough to die "naturally" as her husband did.

The cheating husband’s are the main culprits of the infidelity because they are the ones that made the marriage…
Hmm, I did forget the meat market aspect of his job (and maybe the writer did too, because the few scenes at work seemed so tame). The fact that he never sought solace among his peers indicates to me how closed up, shriveled up he became in the absence of warmth, humor and affection in his marriage. That is, unlike the cocky doctor, Sa Hun wasn't seeking fun but water.

I concede that Sa Hun isn't the greatest catch. And I forget the sequence, but I thought that he wanted out and she had the ulcer, which persuaded him to stay. Meanwhile, the parents, who had not met SW, backed HR.

I think he was telling himself that whether he stayed in the marriage or not, he would only love SW going forward, not that he never loved HR. He went against his parents' wishes for her after all.

Apropos of nothing, did you ever see the Romanoffs on Amazon Prime? This drama has echoes of my favorite episodes. The husband's view of his wife and his marriage changes after a trip to a Russian orphanage (ep 7). It haunts me still. And Episode 8 is kinda like a British makjang set in Europe and HK. The evil stepmom indeed.
