I think the layer’s mistress is definitely not what she appears! How is it possible for a woman at her age and…
Perhaps it's because I grew up in the States, but I do think it's healthier for kids to go back and forth between both parents' homes and to have amity (friendship would be too much to ask here) between the exes. And I fully get that the kids are rightfully disgusted with their dad, so they're not going to warm up to him and Nam Ga Bin, or any future step-siblings, for a very long time.
In the opening title, the writer Lee Shi Eun is so gorgeous. I hope she goes on to find love late in life - that the hardships she went through in her mid-life (she said she had a wonderful childhood, unlike the professor) will be absolved by true and lasting love, and that her kids throw her a lovely reception. May the professor become wracked by jealousy as he grows older as her star grows brighter.
I believe the lawyers mistress is playing them all. She is not all that she showing them. It will be hard to watch…
Yes, I hope it goes badly for the doctor. Would serve him right if he ended up in a bachelor pad by himself, disgraced and alone. Also looking forward to when the Chinese medicine doctor realizes who is daughter is.
Great acting all around. I was flabbergasted to see that the actor who plays Park Jung Je is also Se R's older brother in Crash Landing on You. What versatility!
Add me to the anti-Tunnel club. The ML makes the difference. Choi Jin Hyuk is hot, but he can't act. And once…
Your comment made me laugh. Yes, I hate sloppy police work too. I don't mind time travel, Konglish, ghosts, makjang excesses - they just have to make sense and stick to the rules that were set up by the writer! And yes, in police thrillers, be professional!
Ep4 is by far the best!Real JDT is a very good addition in this season, I wish that they would stick with him…
I agree with everything you said! Alex - big mistake and an international embarrassment. Seo Kyung - irredeemable. OYH - kinda amazing that she's the real hero of this show despite the many odious things about her. I also think she's the prettiest of the leading ladies. Clear, empathetic eyes. SSR is gorgeous, but something about her teeth - they seem too small for her face.
Acting, lean plot, OST - yes, yes, yes. What I also loved about this drama was the texture and grit. The claustrophobic small-town feel (town too small to have a real police station), the daily grind of the butcher shop and the hwato gambling ring... Well done.
yesss i find Tunnel annoying too :Dcan you recommend me some great crime drama ?i head so many good things about…
If you can think of Mouse as a sci-fi thriller (the brain and genetic stuff), it's worth watching. Sure, there are lots of roll-eye moments, especially when it comes to the English-speaking scenes in "Cambridge", but I find myself thinking about Mouse even now. Was not a fan of Lee Seung Gi before Mouse, but now I get it.
Flower of Evil turned me into a rabid fan of Lee Joon Ki, who does his own stunts.
This was such a great crime drama.Usually in crime dramas (*cough* Tunnel *cough*) I get so annoyed at things…
Add me to the anti-Tunnel club. The ML makes the difference. Choi Jin Hyuk is hot, but he can't act. And once again in Tunnel, we have a whole bunch of unappealing people. Here, there are lots of interesting characters to invest in.
My thoughts on the mistresses:30s: wants a child/(possibly) saw PSH and BHR (loving?) relationship and decided…
30s - Remember that PSH confided in Song Won that his marriage was rocky and was asking her for advice in the beginning. That was the start of their relationship. She was not out to steal him. I doubt that she wanted that for herself. As for self-pity, I think she did an admirable job building a quiet, fulfilling life after being ditched by her former husband and in-laws. She is all alone, except for a brother in Cheju. Who wouldn't want to have a surrogate family to support her while expecting a baby? The parents offered their aid out of their own self-interest (because she is carrying their grandchild after all) and she accepted. Who is manipulating whom? And sure, she doesn't feel comfortable telling her brother now, because who knows what might happen? Why complicate a pregnancy late in life?
40s - Ah Mi does not get off on the thrill of fooling the wife, She probably doesn't give her a second thought except when she has dreams of marrying him. She's a naive fool and unrealistically hopes he'll ditch his marriage and status for her. Previews for episode 7 show her becoming unstable and self-destructive. Hardly someone who gleefully cheats to lord it over a smug wife.
50s - I agree with you here - that there are still lingering feelings for her old boyfriend. But she is going through with marriage. A huge deal. Announcing it on the radio, getting her parents' approval in Spain, meeting with LSE twice ... yes, started out selfishly, but she is beginning to understand the magnitude of her choice and is starting to grapple with it.
I don't condone adultery, but there is tons of cheating in other dramas. I wonder why this drama is getting so…
Well, it looks like Ah Mi is the first to crumble. Maybe the point is not that the adulterers get punished (though the doctor should be), but that the affairs forced everyone to look at their lives and to move on.
