no love triangle :) there is annoying 3rd person but he is important to the storyline and doesn't stay annoying for long.

the director changed the sequencing/reordered the episodes. a lot of ppl were confused and said the timeline didn't flow well with the original (time jump, narration). Iqiyi has the reordered episodes

I liked this a lot more than usual xianxias. I've noticed in xianxias they prioritize the world, the livelihood of all beings and it's frowned upon to have worldly desires. Like in Immortal Samsara, The Last Immortal, etc. I wonder if it's a Taoist thing?

i watched the rearranged version, but I think the original version is better since it builds more suspense. if you want to go back legally you should start at ep 6

just realized after watching, this is a mix of xianxia and wuxia right? leaning more towards wuxia? since both leads are mortals cultivating. in fact it's mentioned by Mu Qingge in the beginning that she's almost ready to ascend but chooses not to and that she prefers mortal world more?

how am I supposed to get over this now that im done 😭 this one goes down as one of my favorite xianxias. the power dynamics between the couple is balanced, she's his master, then he becomes hers, when she's reincarnated she doesn't remember her past life, then he gets to go through his own amnesia arc. and not to mention they literally share power!! take turns whooping some ass and exchange power wow just bravo
