I'm gonna call ep37 'the epilogue' from now on after Viki:) I just think it fits perfectly. Youku pretty much acknowledged it as the true canonical ending, and it matches the contents of that video so well.

I'm sure they were under a lot of pressure, so it must have felt freeing to let go after stepping off that stage. It was probably an incredibly emotional experience for them to see the overwhelming audience support, especially since that was more like a fan meet with games than a concert:) I don't think anyone at this point would be surprised that they're affectionate with each other in private.

There are a lot of his TV performances on yt, from talent shows and concerts. HZ's really a colorful artist - he studied Beijing opera singing for a while and incorporates it in his songs, but then his idol is Michael Jackson and he has a few straight out dance songs too:)

As a longtime Huo Zun fan, I was really happy to see all the appreciative comments from WOH fans after the concert. He really stood out on day 1. Still don't understand how come I didn't hear him in the series at all... Anyway, I saw this posted today on weibo. Someone joked in the comments that he shouldn't have stood in the middle cause he's gonna get removed. Then followed 1000 comments with people saying 'sorry HZ laoshi' and uploading photos with JunZhe standing next to each other with no HZ:D Can't believe how much fun everyone is having with the concert.

I don't have the perspective on China but I feel like this has been more or less the prevalent attitude everywhere for the last decade. I've seen shows that didn't even have queer content do blatant queerbaiting and then, once the CP fandoms became large and outspoken, suddenly everyone was uncomfortable with the idea. The team behind Sherlock has been my fav so far. But it's a totally different context with Mike Gatiss married to a man ...and after all who doesn't have a crush on Rupert Graves;) So, in the context of China and this organized toxic fan culture, I have an unlimited supply of respect for ZZH and hope he'll become the trendsetter in how to treat your costars and fans.

I have no grasp on this toxic fandom culture, so I'm gonna keep all fingers crossed that what you said holds, and there won't be any drama around those two. At this point, it would be really heartbreaking for me to see that...

I've always had a 'dead dove:do not eat' attitude towards RPS... But isn't it JunZhe motto to do whatever makes us happy? Why only Huang Youming, Wang and Hei laoshi are allowed to have fun? Hihihi Hahaha;)

So how are the moods today fellow Shanrenmen?:) Sleeping off my emotions yesterday, I actually feel ok this morning, ready to let go and move on. I'm truly content with how this all ended on such a high note for everyone. Us fans got more than we ever dared to hope for I think… and them, as attested by the banquet pics, laughing happily, still sticking close together, and at the heights of their careers. I gained new appreciation for ZZH's smarts after yesterday and can't help but feel grateful that he'd led GJ through the minefield until they reached the horizon safely together ❤️

This has been a first such immersive drama experience for me and I'll probably always remember the Spring of 2021 as belonging to JunZhe and WOH - time full of feels and laughs and all the great talks we had on this thread<3 I think what really made me climb this mountain so high is how genuine everything has been around this project - from the effort put into the drama, to JunZhe attitude towards everything and everyone, and audience response. A lot of what ZZH said yesterday resonated with me and looking at them together gave me the push to recover close friendships that I let slip through my fingers because of ..life. Nope, me not normal! I had to go jogging to shake off this choked up feeling in my chest. Then I remember things like Heizi getting his mic cut off while wishing them to grow old in conjugal bliss or the pipa comment and I'm laughing like a loon;) I'm also evil smirking when thinking how youku is gonna sub this...

I remember ZZH as being rather jaded towards his profession in the early interviews, so this must be an incredibly rewarding experience for him:)

Ok I haven't read the book yet. But to me it was actually one of the most important points plotwise. Cause it shows that the big bad WKX can let go of his revenge, while the precious heroes full of righteousness wouldn't let go of their greed and prejudices. I actually think the dramatics in episodes 31-32 were completely unnecessary. Seeing Zishu being healed and then the red wedding would have been enough emotional rollercoaster for me personally:)

Never ever watch the opening or end credits LOL That's like Chinese drama watcher 101:D It's like they intentionally pack all the spoilers there...
