Obviously me neither:) I can't believe I didn't even look at the OST before yesterday. Now I'd love to see them all singing live! But I was just going through yesterday's performances and it seems like they all sounded a bit off..? Well, except Huo Zun but I'm biased there^..^ I'm GJ-style tone deaf but I think sth was wrong with the sound? Hope they fix it for today.

Now I do too lol. Can't remember any scenes from the series with it though. Another reason for rewatching:D

I'm officially deaf as a plank. I can't believe I didn't notice earlier that Huo Zun or Henry Huo sang one of the songs for WOH! He's only like one of my favourite voices ever... and he sung so beautifully today... Not sure if it's the best or the worst bonus for me, on top of all the JunZhe cuteness, cause now I'm down the rabbit hole watching all his performances ..again. I think I've watched too many BTS and interviews to see anything else there than ZZH and GJ having fun ...but it didn't look like they even tried to get into the character much;)

I only saw snippets about Lao Wen figuring out routers and having an online make-up show before I logged off yesterday:D Is youku a sly fox again, derailing people's attention from getting too angry at the yt membership passes? Agree so so much! Who's even gonna fund this? I think those two already got much more screen time than was ever needed. I am still a bit bitter that we got the ZJ/scorpion melodrama in the end instead of the epic showdown between scorpion and Wen Kexing that I was waiting for… Sigh, there was so little guigu chief in the series. I hope this is just a rumour and if they do sth, it will be one of the other interesting angles left to explore: YBY, shaman/qiye, four sages of anji, ghost valley origins, even scorpion's past ...but professional only;)

I can't help but snicker to myself when I recall all those early chastising comments warning everyone not to bring attention to the CP stuff cause the censors will hear;) Now we get official edit from an official platform featuring that remade photo of them sitting close on the roof and full on suggestive comments... LLD seems to be breaking some boundaries...

Do people really get so worked up about blurred genres? I think borrowing elements from various traditions keeps things interesting. But WOH clearly is very Wuxia at heart. It honestly made me sentimental at times in how much it reflects the storytelling and visuals of last century Wuxia adaptations. Just tell whoever questions it, to watch some of the classics:) The parallels are unmistakable. Thx for that:) The ZJ/Scorpion part made me laugh ...My brain is just wired to see double meanings in everything they do or say ... fulfilling all my wishes ...right;) Btw didn't ZZS say sth like: what's the problem with/why would I mind eating snow and drinking ice all year round, if I get to blablabla with Lao wen for the rest of my life? Or did I read to much into what he said?
