Wenxia

I wonder if JunZhe are now regretting saying that as long as people are happy anything is fine;) I don't think they predicted this level of wildness lol.

Not yet. Got distracted:) Still gathering ideas. So far I
only ordered a set of custom magnets for my wall with my fav pics from WOH and Winter Begonia. Took me forever to choose so I hope they'll turn out good...

Oh, I'll definitely give them my honest opinion too when I see sth official;)

Lol what even happened there? I only saw snippets about Lao Wen figuring out routers and having an online make-up show before I logged off yesterday:D Is youku a sly fox again, derailing people's attention from getting too angry at the yt membership passes? Hard to stay mad with this amount of sugar being thrown at you from all sides;) and happy camp gave me another idea for a t-shirt print out: 唱跳不足重， 重在遇知己 I can't believe how much fun everyone is having with those two... Going to read through the tweets now:D

Agree so so much! Who's even gonna fund this? I think those two already got much more screen time than was ever needed. I am still a bit bitter that we got the ZJ/scorpion melodrama in the end instead of the epic showdown between scorpion and Wen Kexing that I was waiting for… Sigh, there was so little guigu chief in the series. I hope this is just a rumour and if they do sth, it will be one of the other interesting angles left to explore: YBY, shaman/qiye, four sages of anji, ghost valley origins, even scorpion's past ...but professional only;)

Yeah, you're probably right lol. Maybe this is typical in c-ent but it's getting a bit too blatant for my taste. Is this a competition who's gonna give out more LLD sugar to feed the crowds? Honestly, I'm still questioning if I saw the real thing… They've really said bye bye to the subtlety realm with those edits and on-screen writings:D

Nope, you need the ultimate pass to watch ep37 now. Also think it's a bit sh**** move tbh. But hopefully they'll make it free to watch on may5

Have you seen what Happy Camp released?! I can't help but snicker to myself when I recall all those early chastising comments warning everyone not to bring attention to the CP stuff cause the censors will hear;) Now we get official edit from an official platform featuring that remade photo of them sitting close on the roof and full on suggestive comments... LLD seems to be breaking some boundaries...

Edit: saw someone added eng subs on twitter, so I'm spreading the joy:) https://twitter.com/arashickarened/status/1388447785792405504?s=20

Nice! Seems a bit unfair but I'm totally gonna take it as paying back Android users for our frustrations in the last two months;) Guess youku found a way to make me pay for all that bts content I've already watched on bilibili:D

LOL just in time so people can go and watch the last 3 episodes through the weekend. So smart youku;) Does it mean you don't need to buy separate tickets for the concert?

Well, there have been examples of people self-castrating to gain special powers in Wuxia, so.... who knows;D

Do people really get so worked up about blurred genres? I think borrowing elements from various traditions keeps things interesting. But WOH clearly is very Wuxia at heart. It honestly made me sentimental at times in how much it reflects the storytelling and visuals of last century Wuxia adaptations. Just tell whoever questions it, to watch some of the classics:) The parallels are unmistakable. Here's my favourite Wuxia song from 1990: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AD35YBKye0 everything was bigger then... the wine jars... the straw hats... the red eye shadow:D

Yes! No more posts about broken hearts and cried out eyes! Let's all go celebrate with slushies and ice cream on May 5:D

Thank you! Please don't mind me ...I've confused myself again:) I guess I was trying to ask if ZZS's words can be understood as him not minding the frozen diet as long as it allows him to sun himself with Lao Wen by his side for the rest of their lives;) Anyway, I love how they're not even trying to pretend ep37 is not the true canon ending.

Thx for that:) The ZJ/Scorpion part made me laugh ...My brain is just wired to see double meanings in everything they do or say ... fulfilling all my wishes ...right;) Btw didn't ZZS say sth like: what's the problem with/why would I mind eating snow and drinking ice all year round, if I get to blablabla with Lao wen for the rest of my life? Or did I read to much into what he said?

It's not an episode, just 3 minutes cut off from the end of ep36 and added to a mv. I think people just call it that to make it canon:) It's the big question, whether they CAN add it back to ep36 for yt version or not. I think they will keep the MV and upload it together with ep36 like last time. If they didn't, the comments would be full of links anyway:)

I think he rather saw his cultivation as a curse and don't see him willingly giving it to anyone other than as a last resort. I think that conversation was just one of the many hints for a happy ending. Btw, if you don't wanna hide it under spoiler maybe just write 'spoiler alert' before that last part?:)

They are really a breath of fresh air:) I've never seen two actors just ignore everything and get in their own little world during official interviews, quite like those two. I love the one where they completely lost track playing with the electrical massager:) I don't know how they behaved before with other actors, but I really don't find anything odd in the level of intimacy. To me it fits their interactions and it's nice they don't try to hide/fake how comfortable they are with each other.

Umm, really? I find it completely natural. Maybe I just come from a more touchy-feely place or maybe I've seen too many men in China sleeping on each other in the strangest of places and positions in public, that this looks typical in my eyes;)

Well, it's not exactly a secret that cdramas tend to cycle the same classic tropes a lot:) If people choose not to recognize facts, you can't make them. Fandoms thrive on drama and making mountains out of molehills. I just learned to ignore it.

Nice! Cartwheeling through the air in each other's arms is a new one for me:) I don't know why I thought that if he had GJ's hands he would have caught her... My brain got totally corrupted by WOH;)
