LOL was there a single interview of GJ recently where he didn't mention ZZH in some form??? Agree on the teamwork. From the snippets of his earlier acting I've seen, it looks like GJ pulled Zhehan out of his comfort zone a bit in return.

True, and I think he's clever about using it. I've started scheming how to time my next China trip so I can go to his concert:)

Always happy to spread the joy:) It's been a Huo Zun appreciation week for me too. I've been playing this on repeat since monday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRF-XVMZgY8 Honestly, I don't know if it's because of his natural musicality, or that he sounds more lyrical than sentimental, but somehow he always hits all the right emotions in my heart...

I'm not gonna argue the point, cause that's personal. But I have to say I'm very surprised by the comparison, cause to me those two shows couldn't be more different. WOH is my new comfort show. Something I see myself rewatching often when I'm feeling down. TU on the other hand is more like a Greek tragedy exploring themes around our flawed human nature. Although I love the story, TU was very difficult for me to get through emotionally, especially the parts around genocide and dehumanizing people. It pulled at my emotions so hard, I had to go running a few times to shake it off. WOH in comparison is pure fluff and giggles to me:)
Maybe this comparison never occured to me, because the moment I saw that red eye-shadow in ep1, I was like Dongfang Bubai the second! WKX as Invincible Asia, just with a fan instead of needles, wouldn't leave my mind:D So that's where I find a lot of similarities with the plot.

This is a depressing read. No wonder there's so much drama and toxicity. Curious to see if WOH will influence some new practices in the future - like more varied projects getting funds or business people backing off to give teams more creative freedom. As we say in my country, good product defends itself:)

Then kudos to the team for giving them enough reason to conveniently ignore it;)

Why? Because it's dangai? Well, luckily it's also Wuxia:) I saw there's also an article and everyone's wondering why intl fans like it so much^..^

Sorry, I can't find it now:( But I'm sure I saw a picture of the board with additional sentence about sun and sunset snow maybe... Ech, I've scrolled through too many things yesterday...

I totally get it. Felt the same when I finished last month. I'd love to see them working together for the next few years. But now I feel like it's better to be left wanting more, than to get disappointed later. Cause we don't know how season 2 would've turned out with so much pressure on them now. They had fun shooting this and it shows, so I'm happy with what we got:)

Sorry, that was just a silly joke about the concert and after everyone having fun shipping the main actors and each other. If you scroll down you'll see many comments about it. Here's a video of memorable moments from the concert:https://mobile.twitter.com/lldszd/status/1389849275870310403

Oh, I see so much of this in WOH now. Like some looks and smiles they share, it's pure ZZH/GJ:)

End of an era for sure:)

Nope, but there's a sequel about the actors being written by the cast on social media right now:D

I think it's really a satisfying glimpse into where their choices have led them - Still breathing, still close to their kid, still teaching and disagreeing on the method, still play-fighting, and still getting lost in their own little world and ignoring everyone else ...like the other pair we all know and love;) Just wish YBY would have made it into the epilogue, but I can imagine him keeping close, or a close eye, on them for a while:)

I'm gonna call ep37 'the epilogue' from now on after Viki:) I just think it fits perfectly. Youku pretty much acknowledged it as the true canonical ending, and it matches the contents of that video so well.

Did you see that the prompter had one more line about sun in the mountains or sth, but ZZH didn't say it<3 Made his words twice as powerful:)

If only we had known at the beginning what the legendary treasure would turn out to be, we could've slept peacefully lol.

I'm sure they were under a lot of pressure, so it must have felt freeing to let go after stepping off that stage. It was probably an incredibly emotional experience for them to see the overwhelming audience support, especially since that was more like a fan meet with games than a concert:) I don't think anyone at this point would be surprised that they're affectionate with each other in private.

Lol they actually called it ep37 epilogue<3

There are a lot of his TV performances on yt, from talent shows and concerts. HZ's really a colorful artist - he studied Beijing opera singing for a while and incorporates it in his songs, but then his idol is Michael Jackson and he has a few straight out dance songs too:)
