It's not an episode, just 3 minutes cut off from the end of ep36 and added to a mv. I think people just call it that to make it canon:) It's the big question, whether they CAN add it back to ep36 for yt version or not. I think they will keep the MV and upload it together with ep36 like last time. If they didn't, the comments would be full of links anyway:)

I think he rather saw his cultivation as a curse and don't see him willingly giving it to anyone other than as a last resort. I think that conversation was just one of the many hints for a happy ending. Btw, if you don't wanna hide it under spoiler maybe just write 'spoiler alert' before that last part?:)

They are really a breath of fresh air:) I've never seen two actors just ignore everything and get in their own little world during official interviews, quite like those two. I love the one where they completely lost track playing with the electrical massager:) I don't know how they behaved before with other actors, but I really don't find anything odd in the level of intimacy. To me it fits their interactions and it's nice they don't try to hide/fake how comfortable they are with each other.

Umm, really? I find it completely natural. Maybe I just come from a more touchy-feely place or maybe I've seen too many men in China sleeping on each other in the strangest of places and positions in public, that this looks typical in my eyes;)

Well, it's not exactly a secret that cdramas tend to cycle the same classic tropes a lot:) If people choose not to recognize facts, you can't make them. Fandoms thrive on drama and making mountains out of molehills. I just learned to ignore it.

Me too:) Normally, I find such obvious product placement annoying. But I can't help but laugh every time those accomplished jianghu heroes and villains have full-on serious conversations about the nutritional value of nuts:) it's so ridiculous it's actually adorable.

LOL falling off cliffs seems like a recreational activity in c-dramaland... Like does anyone ever hit the ground? I've yet to see that. In other genres people go dancing for fun, but whatever...;)

At the rate they're going it's gonna be a three-people job soon;) I can't believe they dropped 2 special eps yesterday.. I have one of those weird memories where I remember the wording of the original lines, so I'm pretty much playing spot the difference with the subs on yt now:D I'm just gonna wait until after may 5...hope they'll be done by then.

Oh my, I just finished and can't find
the words to express what an absolute treasure this show is. The last episodes were such a rollercoaster of emotions, from crying my eyes out, to laughing like a lunatic and everything in between... I feel like giving standing ovation to Yin Zheng, cause his performance elevated this series to a masterpiece level for me... Next stop, the book! I haven't had my fill of those two yet:)

OK, I can't stop rewatching that new scene in ep 12... I've almost been down the mountain and now I've lost the path again! Like, when did we finish this? 3 weeks ago?! LOL

Anyway, did you notice that youku's post post post production spreads to the subtitles as well? They're everchanging:D I'm glad they fixed that weird line about 'experiencing mixed crowd' for 'complicated world'. But why did they change 'putting down sword' for killing tools? It just sounds so weird to me and makes me see Thor's hammer for some reason:)
And what do you think about that new line from WKX？ （Besides being handsome obviously/除了一目了然的好看）I think it changes the tone of the conversation a little, but otoh ZZS's reply of 'silly ' makes much more sense. Are they planning to make a contest in the end asking fans to vote for their fav version?

Thx, it's how I'm gonna imagine that fall from now on;) Maybe the shot just looked bad. Compared to what got aired, it doesn't seem like sth that would need to be censored.

I just watched the trailer and this looks like high-budget and intense story. I hope it does get to air. ...and there were actual wolves! Not a group of adorable puffballs with lolling tongues like in the Sound of Desert or that scary spirit dog Fairy in the Untamed:D

Me too, I'd definitely watch his debut:) I need to catch up with watching bts, cause I feel like I'm missing a lot. BTW are there any bts/leaked vids on the landing scene when they fall off that bridge on the way to longyuan cabinet? Cause I think that's one scene that is sort of obviously missing from the show...

Love this! I wonder... Did they just add/dub it now, cause fans liked it so much? or did they mess up with the Taiwanese version and did damage control with the special ep on yt?:D In any case, there's still 2 weeks left, so I'm hoping for more.

Ps;) So true! I can't find that vid now... but I loved how it was ZZH who told GJ to hide them slightly behind the fan and how he should move his head, when WKX tells what he saw when he was drugged. And it fits both dialogue versions so well. With the mama story, it's endearing how it suggests WKX gonna tell something scandalous, but he goes with childish. And with the other story ...it fits well too;)

Noooo I don't think GJ even knows what subtlety is, let alone how to portray it;) And ZZH's WKX would lack that child-like exuberance and innocence that is all GJ. The producer's instincts were spot-on on the casting. I can't imagine anyone else in these roles.

It's all true what you said. But personally I can't easily untie this show from the context of it being a danmei adaptation, coming right in the middle of this BL craziness, and how heavily it hints at the romantic nature of their relationship in what's shown on screen, implied, or used for the marketing efforts. Is anyone advertising it as your next great national epic? I focus more on the main couple simply because it's the part that imo was done very well. I have some beef with the background plot. I don't like how it was resolved so I focus on the part I liked.

As for 知己 and the dying part. For you it may be all standard wuxia but please don't blame international viewers when our brains go straight to Romeo and Juliet:) Cause that's the only origin for this trope for me. And since it was rather blatantly done for dramatics and doesn't add much to the plot, then the next logical thought is ...romance;)

Umm, why would you think WKX died? I mean practically everything YBY says sort of proves he won't... He heavily hints a few times that he lived so long just so he could help them. He also clearly states he 'won't allow' anyone to die before him and will give WKX his cultivation power. Not to mention he basically smiles when he tells WKX about the 'sacrifice' needed. Honestly, how likely is it that YBY who lived alone for so long would sentence Zhishu to that same lonely fate?! It's not like he didn't have a front row seat to their blossoming love;) There are illogical plot falls in the story but I thought psychological credibility was handled well.
