I just read a thread below that I think was about comparing WOH with TU cause the original post was deleted. And I though up a nightmare for tonight that I wanna share with you all:D Can you imagine getting those 3 delicious episodes of WKX and ZZS flirting and then the story shifting to 20+ episodes of the back story how they got to that place??? Separately??? That would be deliciously excruciating;)
Yes, I hope she gets more well-written roles in the future. She seems to have good instincts since she'd stuck…
That's an interesting point:) I fortunately find her more funny than annoying at the beginning. Refreshingly, absolutely nothing annoys me about this series:D
I was looking through Zhou Ye’s page and realised that WOH is her first drama and she only joined the acting…
Yes, I hope she gets more well-written roles in the future. She seems to have good instincts since she'd stuck with WOH when the original cast moved on. I have special hate for the overdone childish female characters which makes me drop a series faster that anything else. So grateful that Zhou Ye never takes her character that far and even manages to weave quite a bit of mystery to GX which makes her more complex and interesting. I also liked Better Days but privately hope the Oscar goes to Aida:)
I'm triply cursed:D Android user, my phone's incompatible with youku app and my TV doesn't even acknowledge it's existence... they really make it hard to give them money LOL.
Thank you for sharing! He is so funny here and it looks like no questions really faze him. And the way he pokes…
LOL, you just reminded me I rode a 'special edition spring festival 72-hour' train to Chengdu many years ago:D I think it took us a day to leave our province. I have very fond memories from there too. Pandas, mountains and spending half a day watching traditional Sichuan opera in a small place drinking gallons of hot tea so as not to freeze;) I feel for GJ, games are OK but the noise level can get crazy:)
ZZH talking about ZZS and WKX: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbQ8z5r1ig
Thank you for sharing! He is so funny here and it looks like no questions really faze him. And the way he pokes fun at GJ:D -His mouth is not particularly fast LOL or -You just need to look at him to know he can't play 可能牌都算不明白:D I like the atmosphere around them and this series, I hope it won't sour.
SHAMELESS fandom!! Hahahaha!!!https://twitter.com/i/status/1371324869162364928"fans are wild omg this uh, promotional…
Thanks for that<3 I almost spewed my morning coffee:) Was the truck just going round the block blasting that song on repeat the whole time they were there? As far as pranks go this seems harmless and hilarious
yes, this! WKX was putting on a mask to the world -- only it's one with flirtations and self-grandiose rather…
Hopefully:) I honestly find his back story and the choice he made much more intriguing and am very curious to see where they take this character further. On a mission to avoid spoilers:D
yes, this! WKX was putting on a mask to the world -- only it's one with flirtations and self-grandiose rather…
Yes, very good choice:) He's very expressive. I usually end up watching him even if he's not the one speaking, cause it just seems like every thought shows on his face. I have much more difficulty reading ZZS and tuning in to his emotions. Not sure if it's the actor or they planned ZZS to be this unreadable...
So after 12 episodes I figured out what I like about Gong Jun's portrayal of WKX... The crazy, flirty, self-confident parts make him fun to watch. But it's the rare glimpses of vulnerability, when something someone says hits home or he worries, that make me go all softhearted... Sigh, his vulnerable eyes are my cryptonite;)
They are speaking Putonghua, which is the way mandarin is spoken in mainland China. In Taiwan they speak Guoyu…
That's probably because Mandarin is a second language for a lot of people. I only lived in the South of China, so was used to not understanding anyone on the streets. Got such a shock when I first went to Beijing and could eavesdrop on people:D
Most of the comments I've seen about this drama are about how "uncensored" the BL relationship feels. I don't…
Well, I like the premise that they are both more mature, accomplished fighters with colourful backgrounds;) and a lot of mystery going around. There is a LOT of clever bantering between the main pair with some truly hilarious comments. I find their interactions delightfully charged but if it's not your thing, you can totally disregard it and treat it as them trying to outsmart each other. I also like that the unraveling of the mysteries goes slowly enough to keep me guessing who's good and bad, who works for whom, etc. I got completely hooked after only 2 episodes so maybe try and see for yourself.
美吗?完美 ?! WKX cracks me up:D So I just planned to check out one episode... Now I'm starting 3rd and can't believe how funny the dialogues are and the delivery. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun starting a series...
