I personally love spoilers, thank you so much! I usually don’t want to waste my time especially in watching these long dramas only to get burned by lousy endings and these spoilers are what helps me decide if I should start watching or not.
I totally agree with the spot on review...so frustrating, they missed so much opportunity by a mile to to turn this drama into a truly epic and unforgettable hit. Zheng Ye Cheng carried the whole show in my own personal opinion....his performance is the only unforgettable thing in this drama. I look forward to seeing him in another drama and hopefully next time, they could really showcase him well so his brilliant talent could shine through this time.
I have been watching Intense Love in between, and although it did not have quite a strong start for me with the…
If you watch period Cdramas, you might also want to check out The Love By Hypnotic. The chemistry between the main leads (they are a royal couple) are off the charts and this drama wins hands down for having the most steamy scenes between the main leads. Their wedding dance alone in episode 3 is beautiful to watch and embodies a lovers’ dance so intimate that the second female lead even had to look away looking pained because she cannot bear watching it. If you like happy endings and a a male lead who is laser focused only on his lady love just like Ye Hua in Ten Miles of Peach Blossom then you should definitely not miss this drama.
Is there any drama like this,???? Coz i am going crazy waiting for next ep.... thankyou.
I have been watching Intense Love in between, and although it did not have quite a strong start for me with the first few episodes I’m glad I persevered and am now loving this drama as soon as it hit its stride, which did not take a long time at all. It’s a feel-good romantic love story which does not stress or frustrate me unlike other conflict-riddled dramas out there. The main couple are so in love with each other in the story and their chemistry together really shines through. I seldom see a female lead in Asian dramas calls her man “honey” in such a sweet, gentle way each time she addresses him. No wonder he can’t resist her charms.
Saw up to ep 16. This drama is turning out to be exactly what I wanted! Cheese + ridiculousness + pretty, lots…
I’ve never seen before a period Cdrama with this much steamy kisses, bed scenes, and dialogues tinged with sexual innuendos as this one has....even the wedding dance scene alone looked so intimate and sensual that someone in some website commented about Dirty Dancing from Ancient China lol. In this drama, a royal prince and princess were in an arranged political marriage and that’s when their romance started. Such a lovely story of deep love with off the charts chemistry between the main leads.
Because the two leads literally did not touch each other! They hugged once and barely held hands throughout the…
The Love By Hypnotic is the opposite of this one then, because I’ve never seen before a period Cdrama with that much steamy kisses, bed scenes, and dialogues with sexual innuendos as this one has....even the wedding dance scene alone was so intimate and sensual that someone commented about Dirty Dancing from Ancient China lol. In this drama, a royal prince and princess were in an arranged political marriage and that’s when their romance started. Such a lovely story of deep abiding love with off the charts chemistry between the main leads.
The high rating made me curious so I decided to give it a try. Then one and a half episodes after, I just can't…
I agree that the first couple of episodes were not really that engaging for me at first, but it got a lot better as the story progressed and is now one of my most favorite dramas . First of all, I ended up loving both the ML and the FL’s characters here. The ML is actually not the arrogant, overbearing, cold, bossy variety that you usually see in some dramas. For all his brilliant career achievements and high family status he’s actually just a naturally reserved introvert....no painful past, no emotional baggages. In fact he’s the ultimate gentleman and a very caring, considerate, patient man. He’s also unawakened when it comes to love and romance which is why it was so beautiful to see him warm up to the FL and you can see during the whole drama the way he fell deeper and deeper in love with her as they got to know each other better. It did not take that long either for him to warm up to her either. The FL is the opposite... she’s the raging sea to his tranquil, quiet lake, and the sun to his moon. She’s also a very kindhearted gal for all her being a drama queen and yes, he realized his future mate can be a such a drama queen in real life and not just on the TV screen. She’s full of Eve’s guiles considering how she subjects him to her seductive teasings a lot of times. Poor guy did not stand a chance once she set her sights on him. But he loved and accepted all of her and she chose to love him as deeply. So cute when she calls him honey or baby and her tones are pure gentle honey when she calls addresses him as such and he responds to her. One of my most fav scenes, Episode 15 (the mud kiss as everyone calls it). We already knew early on he loves her but his deep, intense love for her clearly shone on that very memorable scene. They might have started as an arranged marriage couple in the beginning, but ended up with a fairytale romance as they became soulmates and loving partners for life.
After rewatching some scenes, I think I have an inkling when they became finally intimate but I don’t want to give too much spoilers in case some people might get upset here :)
You mean she remains weak and reliant to others through out the series?????
Thanks for your info, I always love to check out reviews, the more revealing the better. It helps me decide if I should invest my time watching a show or not. I hate tragic endings and I dislike annoying female lead characters. I am currently watching a kdrama called Search: WWW and so far I like it, especially as the female lead seems strong and smart. I might watch Listening Snow Tower later on just because someone here mentioned it has a happy ending.
I would say on the way to the airport felt similar
+++Tower of Babel- The FL is married, the ML fell in love with her and he became her lover +++Secret Love Affair - FL is married and had an affair with the ML +++ Ratree aka A Woman’s Trickery (Thai drama)- ML is married but his wife did something unforgivable that to make her give up getting back with him, he pretended he has a new young, innocent, and beautiful mistress (the FL in the drama) that he planned to have a baby with. He ended up really falling in love with his pretend mistress and their relationship became real. I kinda felt sorry for the girl’s fiance, though (second ML), since the girl also fell in love with the ML.
I watched This Kdrama Tower of Babel and I think there’s some similar vibe....the FL met the ML before she got married but ended up with a jerk for a husband. Both the ML and FL fell in love with each other and had a steamy affair. There is more to the plot, but both ML and FL ended up together in the end.
Thank goodness for the comments with spoilers, it saved me a lot from wasting hours of watching this only to get burned by the time I reached the final episode.
