It depends on your personal preferences. It’s an older woman/younger man trope. It’s also a slow-burn romance, but so stress-free to watch. The main couple are such eye-candies, FL is beautiful, soft-spoken, feminine, and elegant. ML is good-looking (he was also the ML in the remake of Meteor Garden). Their relationship started as that of boss/subordinate (ML was the FL’s assistant, I think) but blossomed into a romantic one eventually. The ML did not remain as an assistant for long because he wanted to pursue a different career path. Their work as well as romantic relationship were both solid and healthy. I would likely watch this show again in the future.

Hi! I’ve watched The Killer Is Also Romantic. It’s like the Asian version of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, both husband and wife have hidden identities. There is a quarrel once they discovered each other’s other identity, of course, but it only lasted around half an episode (a few days worth of misunderstanding in the drama), and the kiss and make up that followed afterwards more than made up for the lovers’ quarrel. I found it well worth the watch.

I’ve seen it and liked it. She supposedly went back to her College days but was actually only in coma after an accident. In her present life she was unhappy with her career and unlucky in her relationship. When she went “back” in her past she avoided the SML (her ex- BF in the present) like the plague and only realized that the ML (her boss in the present time) had always been in love with her which was why he remained single for the whole time since their university days til their present time. She got together with him instead of the SML but when she woke up she was back to her same reality. But she changed her life around, broke up with the SML, got together with the ML after chasing him a bit and soothing his hurt feelings, then turned her career around for the better. Happy ending. Love their chemistry together.

Personally, I would rewatch it. If you like a stress-free watch with the main leads having a normal, healthy relationship with no annoying love triangles, no break up, and happy ending plus good chemistry between the main couple, then this is a good drama to watch. Their OST is quite good, too.

There’s no break up. They got married and stayed together. Just a heads up, this is not a typical ML like in other dramas. He’s henpecked and the wife is the more aggressive one. But they love each other. Happy ending.

At first he was a bit of a jerk, but I did not find him that annoying as I assumed he would likely become better after developing some feelings for the FL. He got better as expected. 😊

It’s a slice of life drama, the FL is rather smart and is not the damsel in distress type. The ML is also strong and became more powerful when he became an army general then was later given a noble title. He had a concubine whom he later cast aside because she did something to betray his trust, even though he had 2 children with her. But the FL was the only one that really caught his attention later on. The ML managed to pursue the somewhat reluctant FL and got her to marry him because he fell in love with her. At first he had to resort to some underhanded means to get her, but she eventually returned his feelings and they became a strong couple who supported each other through thick or thin. There were too many villains in the ML’s family, one of them was his scheming stepmother. But no matter how much they tried to bring down the main couple, they were not successful. The ML’s unwavering support and loyalty was with his wife, and she was not one to get easily defeated by their enemies either. Happy ending for the main couple, and the FL gave birth to a son in the later episodes.

I guess it’s happy enough although they were apart most of the time and the ending was rather abrupt for me. Overall, for me, it was just a Meh kind of ending.

You need to watch the whole thing and don’t skip anything especially on the last episode. Then you’ll know why they never broke up at all 😀

I liked it, the romance is good, the main couple have a well-developed, healthy relationship with each other, the life lessons the drama impart are solid. It’s 46 episodes, but it didn’t go downhill as far as I can remember.
