What costume dramas have you already seen and which ones did you like?

Yes, the ending is a really happy one. I am going to finish watching the web comic version as well as the live kdrama. 😊

They did not follow the web comic version. Yes, I saw she broke up with him because of the ex-fiancee.

In the web comic I don’t think there was any break up so if they follow that version in the kdrama then there shouldn’t be any. I haven’t seen the adaptation drama yet.

I read some mixed reviews, others said there’s no break up, some said they made the main leads fight for 20 something episodes and only resolved their misunderstandings in the last few episodes. Slow burn romance.

Here’s the scoop from other reviews/comments about this drama….main couple are together on episode 19, no break up and the ending is beautiful.

Main couple broke up years ago, they got back together in episode 19 after the ML chased the FL again. ML proposed in episode 30. The latest episode that’s out is up to episode 33 and they’re still together so far, and there are still 3 more episodes left before this drama is complete.

It’s a slice of life historical period drama which started from the time the FL was a young girl whose mother was an unfavored concubine of a lord from a noble family. It portrayed her as a smart and strong FL while she dealt with internal power struggles and came out the winner against her opponents. She grew up, ended up marrying the ML who pursued her because he fell in love with her and wanted her as his wife, even getting rid of his love rival in a cunning way. If you like pure, virginal MLs, he won’t be your cup of tea because he was older than the FL, probably in his thirties while the FL was a very young woman. He also had a concubine and 2 children although he never married her and drove her out of his house upon discovering her corrupt deeds especially in stealing some of his family assets. That happened way before he pursued the FL and before he got promoted to a higher noble title after serving as a general in the imperial army and winning several battles. But both the FL and ML were in harmony throughout their marriage and were quite a power couple here. The ML also never took another concubine despite pressures from his family. The FL was very cunning and had complete control of their household. There were scheming relatives especially from the ML’s side but with her husband’s full, unconditional support, she managed to overcome their evil plans and intent to cause rifts in the couple’s marriage. The couple was solid, she gave birth to their child, and they had a happy ending.

I’m not sure yet about Welcome To Sam-Dalri yet, but I already listed My Demon on my dramas with break up list. It happened on episode 14.

I just finished reading the manhwa Miss Overprotected or Overprotective Lady and this is one of my favorites now…an absolute gem! I just love the male and female characters here, you will know what I mean if you read it. 😊

You’re so welcome….right now I am waiting for Marry My Husband to finish airing before I binge. There is no break-up in the manhwa so I am hoping it will be the same in the kdrama. This has a real good story, too, so I’m excited about this one.
