"Sang-hak told me to set the shutter speed to 125, but I set it to 60. Because 1/60th of a second is longer than 1/125th of a second. I wanted to stay in that photo with him for just a while longer." Only in kdramas you can have such great quotes ❤️.
San Ho he's seen her on tv since she's a US Ambassador and admired her policies. He's then asked to take a job protecting her so he monitors her for a bit and admires her resolve and grit. He starts protecting her and there's fairly obvious sexual tension.
Mun Ju, she's intrigued by him, thinks he might know more than he's saying. He's saved her life a bunch of times which tends to manufacture close feelings. Again, sexual attraction.
Do I think they are madly deeply in love with each other? No. Do they need to be at this juncture? Also no. Admiration, affinity and sexual attraction can be more than enough to blur some lines and seek some physical comfort. I personally don't need more than that from an action romance drama.
I'm pleasantly surprised they didn't leave it until episode 9 tbqh.
I don't expect this to have a happy romantic ending, either San Ho dies protecting her or they part ways and go back to their real lives.
"So, Ai, you know how I slapped the fuck out of you, told you I'd disown you, and that your life practically belongs to me and you don't get to have a say in it?"

"It was because I was a single dad. I mean, no one gets pressured like us single dads. I had to manage this company, so I couldn't really be the dad you deserved. I saw that you got SA'd, and it really made me think of how awful I was to you, but I'm gonna be better now. The past is the past, so let's move on, okay?"
"I didn't know you had to endure so much, Dad. I'm so sorry that life got so hard, you had to abuse me to get through it. You is kind, you is smart, and you is important, Dad. I'm sorry I didn't see it."
"Apologies accepted, Ai. You didn't know. Who could've known? It was unknowable. I want us to move on and be better to each other. From now on, I've got your back, and I trust you have mine :)"
im sorry but the whole set up with the phone was dumb, just call the police, better yet let her damn dad know so he can also send people. like why would you go alone? they are heirs to billion dollar businesses they should have private security to call. it makes the characters look and act dumb. thats really my only complaint. i love everything else
I'm addicted, I want more, I have never seen this much passion of two ppl in a kdrama, I want more 😭
I need s2 or maybe just let me see both of them again in another project
I'm addicted, I want more, I have never seen this much passion of two ppl in a kdrama, I want more 😭
but in terms of acting, scale of the show.. it was fantastic.
unfortunately due to poor marketing from disney, the show didn’t attract many audiences.
