My question as well. I felt this about Denied Love as well, but at least we are getting more from that story...where as this....should have been at least 12 eps.

Yes, i agree, that she doesn't want to add to her stress.
However, it still feels like a huge leap to go from "I don't want to bother her" to "I'm going to take my own life." I just think that the plot should have been executed in another more believable/logical way there (it was very much dramatized) ....

Does Jam not trust Ai, why does not she tell her that dad is harassing her. I mean Ai trusts her and said she knows the bidding amount but won't reveal to her father, that a sign of trust. Jam cant talk but taking her life is easier? I mean if you love and admire her, and she trusts you than why not just about it?

good actresses, a good plot, good direction and production and an incredible soundtrack but the script...

There was a scene where it was a board meeting and she proposed 31B, and stated that she believes orienna was going to bid 28-30 and Rachen's company 28B. So they had a meeting where they agreed to raise it to 31. Losing the bid at 26 when the board agreed on 31 would cause major issues, so obviously there was a not shown meeting about it

Honestly as someone who also read the novel i think, you make a good point that she should have taken her dad with her, but ig she called the cops instead which suffices ig. but also i like the fact that after Ai gets drugged they don't have sex and instead Mae throws her into the pool to try and calm her body down.
Also I'm curious why they would change superior into losing the bid rather than keeping that and allowing that to be Mae's full circle that she made it on her own. ik that they did that so Mae wouldn't have been a cheater and didn't play dirty but idk i think at the end of the day Mae should have won the bidding like she did in the novel maybe they should have just taken out the part where AI tried to make it even by giving her, her bidding numbers. Like Ai helped her in other ways in the novel why not do that instead of having Mae lose the bid just to have her win at something else that doesn't really matter to the audience since we only saw it for like 2 secs.

I also think that the way the novel handled the sexual assault was way better. Mae asking her father to go with her is sensible, and that was when she knew it was Rachen who tricked Ai. Meanwhile, her going alone to handle who knows how many dangerous people (since she didn't know it was Rachen in the series) is just plain stupid.

I like G and Yam together, but I feel like Yam should have had to work for it a little more than she did. I'm not crazy about the fact that G is just picking back up the relationship when Yam has made it VERY clear that their entire relationship hinges on their bosses relationship. Yam basically being like, I like you but Ai comes first and always will doesn't sit the best with me

Overall really good. There were some changes that werent to my taste but it didnt take away the enjoyment overall. I liked that they changed the winner, because in the novel Mae only wins because Ai made it possible for her.
Now Ai's father made sure to come clean and apologize for his wrong doings but Mae's dad lied about being on the brink of death and kept his mouth shut forever about it, honestly i just think the writers forgot they used that nonsensical plot.

She left Ai again because she needed to succeed by herself without the help of Ai but she knew that if Ai was by her side she would never be able to accomplish it by herself. We have seen numerous times throughout the show where Ai tries to help Mae and leaves Mae feeling clueless or frustrated because she wants to learn and work on her own, but that's what makes the finale great because they got back together after Mae had her own success within her company without the help of Ai or anyone else.

I gotta say, I enjoyed the last episode. Their slow kisses are always immaculate. I felt that.

Yam really said that their relationship depends on Mae and Ai. I would've just sent her back from where she came.

When Ai's father was "apologizing", I was rolling my eyes so much I thought it would stuck. Cause, what? 💀

I swear every year or so a masterpiece comes out and i get so high from it. The cinematography, the chemistry, the visuals, the acting, the storyline and the characters were all just amazing

Last year lovely runner did that for me and i stsrt searching high and low for another drama that can replicate that feeling but they’re so hard to find 😭
