FL behaving like a little girl. Do people really find young adult women acting like a little girl, cute? Is this a Asia thing.

I saw this in so many dramas.... I wonder when they become women. Wonder this is really also in real life???

the way she talks, acts and even walk sometimes is soooo cringe.... the first scene at the office acting like a girl leaving the job as she start crying that the boss was angry at her.... you do this in high school not as a lawyer.

I dont understand why China and Korea treat women, encourage the FL character to behave like this.

How a man can like or have sex with a woman behaving like a child. She even look like a adolescent. Is like a pedophile counsciousness. Cringe....

The drama is nice... but I enjoyed more if it was a character of a grown woman.

I remember Donna, from The Suits. It was amazing character.

- [ ] While she was sleeping walking and this really bothers me instead of gently guiding her back to her room (still don’t understand how she got out) why did he pull her into a hug? and not move away?knowing she was unconscious and let that kiss happen?
- [ ] There was enough and space and time for him to not let that happen instead not only did he not tell her the details of what happenen and instead said she has she has to pay for it and acting like he’s innocent in this matter as though he wasn’t the one who let this happen.
- [ ] I guess if you like to watch stuff with the rose tinted glasses, the scene doesn’t matter much to you but me personally, it feels gross. This kind of you owe me because of what you did to me ( even though he was fault) and on top of that he accused her of assault before she actually kissed him thought not directly because of his cowardly behavior but after what she’s been through I didn’t want to see the male lead make such a statement.

Let’s not say a few episodes like I didn’t watch around 7 hours of this. If I shouldn’t judge after 7 hours and some change when should I judge 15hr? 24? Why should I make a commitment that big, when I already know that the mannerisms of the male lead make him a habitual liar. And I find that uncomfortable no matter what his reasoning is. Regarding him being upset about her going to different college and then pretending he didn’t know her because of it. What childish behavior to come from a grown man. She hurt your feelings so now you want to pretend that she wasn’t even worth remembering. In my opinion that’s more hurtful than me changing my plans last second to go to a different college.

Can someone add the tag Liar Male lead? He’s lied every episode and I’m on episode 10

Thank you for taking your time to reply to this person's hate comment. I generally just ignore them as they are usually someone begging for attention. As someone who was SAd as a child I try my best to avoid series that show SA, I don't understand why they think I shouldn't watch shows that show killing, like uhmm have I been killed before? And also the funny part is I very rarely watch american shows so I don't understand why they keep bringing that up or even made the comparison

Like I said it's his choice to keep persisting and obsessing. If he looks pathetic, it's him that's making that happen, it's not up to the woman to make him look good.

It's two individuals in different head spaces. I'm not saying he is THE problem, he is behaving a bit weirdly though. He acts kinda jealous and does backhanded secret things for her, like the way he switched the rooms after they'd made a mutual agreement. She likes him in this carefull quiet way, but thinks he is confusing and aloof, you can see her quietly trying to assess his motivations. He is also acting cold, he needs to speak up as well. It's two people that have to come to an understanding before there's romance.

I understand your point of view because I’m also a man, and I watched First Frost with my little sister and brother. The key is to approach it with the mindset of putting yourself in a woman’s shoes while watching, since it’s clearly a drama aimed at a female audience. That said, the director did make the effort to give Wen Yifan both an appealing appearance and personality.

I think the best way to see this drama is as a guide on how to be a really good boyfriend. Watching how Sang Yan takes care of Yifan is the key to appreciating it, because honestly, he's the most devoted MC i have ever seen in all dramas. And being inspired to become a better partner is truly a gift this drama gives, since it shows everything : cooking, cleaning, voice messages, jokes, dreamy and philosophical conversations, little acts of affection toward a loved one the list goes on and on!

I also really enjoyed the cinematography and felt like I traveled to Nanwu and Hong Kong, discovering Chinese traditions I had never seen before. So it might also appeal to you if you’re new to Chinese dramas. I do agree that Yi Fan is a bit tiring, Me and my brother got a bit exhausted by her escapist mindset, but it was all worth it.

I gave this drama a 9.5, because I genuinely think that for women, it’s like a dream, and for us, it’s a charming and very relatable guide.

No, his actions stand on their own, it doesn't matter if he likes her or not. Liking someone isn't a justification or an excuse for playing mind games. I agree that "His way of loving quiet and cunning, like a fox is his discreet way of protecting himself from getting burned." But he is still playing games with all the lies and little manipulations he does, and then claims he didn't do while giving her a blank gaze. I get that it's normalized for men especially, to act like this if they like a girl, but it's actually not unproblematic behaviour.

He is the one making things complicated and then the woman gets the blame. Even here in the comment section Xefjord says she is cold and she causes missunderstandings when it's him doing both 😒. She caused a missunderstanding when they were young, the rest are on him. She is not playing games with him, she is being courteous to him all the time. It's a theme in the show. She gets harrassed and attacked by men repeatedly for simply existing in the world and the men and the women around her blame her, not the actual people who do the bad things. It's an interesting phenomenon.

The female lead is clearly being neutral, not cold. The only hurtful thing she did was back in high school, when she felt she had to leave him and lie about the reason, to protect herself. She is not responsible of his crush on her, it's not her job to coddle him or manage his feelings. She is not ungrateful, what does she have to be grateful for, except for when the male lead helped her with the violent friends of her would be rapist. She thanked him for that and treated his wounds. Whatever else the male lead did was his own business, he is actually a bit obsessive when it comes to the female lead. He is the one that played games, acting like "I dont know who you are, lady" and going behind her back to do what, secretly move in with her, buy things for the house and claim they were not specifically for her. She is being kind to him actually, giving him grace repeatedly, while also being neutral and going with the flow.

just finished this a few days ago. what i liked most about this drama is the scene where wen yifan completely cut off her mother from her life. when she said, "just think of me as someone who died that night" i literally got goosebumps. her mother is literally the worst character in this series, argue with the wall.

honestly this is more about wen yifan's life, how it's like living as a woman in modern day, rather than a pure romance drama. although a lot of viewers got turned off over the scenes of her getting harassed by men and ostracized by her colleagues over some dumb rumors, i think it depicts the reality of what a lot of women go through a lot.

overall i think this drama was good, the romance aspect was well done too, it didnt bore me at all.

I skipped the grandpa scenes because I was too eager to wait for the leads. I plan on watching that part one day. This was a 10 because I didn't hold it agains the drama. The rest was so good.
