They've just started dating and slowly sharing her inner conflicts with him (first about her mom/step-sister and then about her boss at previous company). And would have told him about aunt's brother too eventually even if that man had not appeared in her life again.

But it'll happen now anyways in next few eps.

oh then you would enjoy it very much. It's slow-burn so hang-on until 5/6 eps to get immersed into the characters and depth of their story.
