Yes, I NEVER look at episode previews. Not even watch the intro attentively as that could possibly spoil smth huge. When I started to watch airing dramas, I realized that the previews basically spoiled like the best part of the ep which kinda ruins the excitement of the ep for me LOL I'd rather watch without knowing what happens

I think the production team tried to hide it well by not showing much of Li Chenzhou in their trailer and such which I think is nice and refreshing as that means we will all be surprised / anticipated to see how his character will be like even more!

Hmm, I only watched TWD and loved it. I found the mystery behind the Yesha case so interesting. I feel you will be intrigued with how they unfold the mystery more in the second half. Loved first half but dang second half became even 🔥

This is what made me look forward to the drama so much, bc we get to see two actually different Chengyi characters, the protagonist and antagonist!

Liu Suifeng who we were just talking about~ He and Li Chenzhou (Chengyi's other character) are in the same sect so they're basically in the same side lol. I think that'll be super interesting to see.

Lol let's not take this seriously now 😅 Ik what he plans to do ain't good at all and I'm not looking forward to if that happens either so... But it will be quite rewarding if in the end there's some change in him~ I heard he does smth good by the end (at least in the novel)~ I prefer it when villains have feelings rather than only being evil bc of wanting power and stuff~ And most of the time, I like to get in with the characters of the story and try to get in their POV even if I don't agree with the things they do.

Anyways you are right about MLC. Loved their friendship and camaderie.

Also, in TJOL, you forgot that SML is technically always siding with the ML (antagonist) lol which will be a treat!

Dang, tbh, this was actually my top one most anticipated drama (along with Shui Long Yin) and let me say I am not disappointed, rather loving every minute of it so far, so it depends on one's taste definitely. I was already hooked from the start. And if it feels like a slow start for some, well, it's a 40-ep drama so I believe the story is still progressing and will improve in whatever aspects that may be lacking.

Also, I admit Chengyi is like my favorite actor, BUT I only watched a few of his dramas and am not the type who will watch many of his other dramas bc he's in it as many of them don't seem to be my taste. I'd rather watch a drama that is to my taste then watch all my favorite actor's dramas just bc he's in it.

Li Chenzhou is the antagonist of the novel. I'm pretty sure our villain has a wife actually. I do rmr learning about it some time ago. Xiao Mingming is his irl name. I'm sure that was his mother hugging him.

Edit: Tried to find the scene again and yep, that's his mother haha not to mention there's another photo frame of himself as a child and her.

Okay, I don't hate this title~ after all, they are an assasination group so "blood" works, but man... I was so used to Tales of Dark River! I am so shocked they changed it like whyyy... To think that the organization is actually called "Dark River" kinda makes it... 🙃 Oh well, time to get used to it then!
