I am so late in replying to this but dang omg that's so cool! I also finished season 1 yesterday and now I'm onto the next season~ Praying for a season 3 so we get to see Suho again, and yes, I'm begging to see the father and son duo's friendship in Twinkling Watermelon to happen in this one as well!

You wanna watch a drama with a lot of the same cast members as this? I'm only still watching The Double, and... Well, I discovered Perfect Match has: Duke Su / Xiao Heng, Shen Yurong (Xue Fangfei's ex-husband), Jiang Ruoyao (Jiang Li's sister), Wen Ji (Duke Su's subordinate), and Situ Jiuyue (poison expert)! I also heard Shen (coincidentally sharing the same last name) plays the best husband in it, such a contrast to The Double as the ex-husband of Xue Fangfei!
I also JUST discovered the upcoming FEUD / Lament of the River Immortal has: Ye Shijie (Jiang Li's cousin), Shen Yurong, Xiao Heng (child version), Wen Ji, Situ Jiuyue, Ye Mingyu (Jiang Li's uncle), Li Jin, and Consort Li. And this will be a drama I'll be watching when it airs soon which is gonna be a lot of fun aahhh!!
Edit: There's an upcoming drama called Those Flowers which has: Xue Fangfei, Shen Yurong, and Jiang Jingrui (Jiang Li's cousin)!!

I did find it such a beautiful crafted drama, the way Eungyeol cared so much about his parents, and the way they got together was so beautiful! There are some dramas out there that are highly rated but weren't for me, so it's totally understandable!

Yes and they will continue to bicker throughout the drama~ They really bicker like a couple, I love it 😆 Imo, Yuanzhou fell first and Yichen fell harder which you'll be seeing later on 🤭

Wait girl you need to try Twinkling Watermelon if you haven't already bc you got the 2nd MLs (in both 1&2) as father and son in this drama (it's a time travel drama) and you WILL be eager for a third season with their interactions !

Yk what, I'll be getting a Youku subscription soon, so the first thing I'll watch once I do will be that drama! So excited!

Yes, the bromance comes in ep 15 or 16 I believe! So good! I was literally shipping the MLs since the first episode but I really didn't expect a stronger bromance later on like dang!!!! And it looks like you saw their sword dance together and the girls having fun together? I'm more the shipper of the boys together and the girls together 🤭 And omg, I can't describe how much I fell in love with the music! One of my all time favorite OSTs I've ever listened to that I legit just kept on listening to it for the next few months even after it finished airing lol it was that good!

Oh dang what did you get spoiled in? It indeed does get more intense in later eps tho... do try not to actually come on the comment section bc you might get spoiled for sure! Hoping it's not too big~ I do wanna say it's a hopeful ending tho! And yes, go continue that one (I have yet to watch it but I'm so eager to finally start it omg 😭)

Also it looks like you also love FoF! That one is one of my top favorite dramas. But lemme tell you, some might not feel the same way as me, but I shipped the ML with the 2ML rather than with the FL even tho the FL is still nice~ Just thought their chemistry was soooo good, and the emotional tension between them? I rmr everyone fangirling over the bromance during the airing and dang do I miss that! Like even the story focused on them and their relationship (to me, they were the main focus). So bc of this, I lowkey wished they hadn't added the romantic angle, but it's most prob due to censorship anyways... Not to be offensive, but I felt they were the end game by the end of the drama (the last scene from the special ep says it all...)~ Oh, and not Li Lun also being Yuanzhou's ex haha 🫠
