I'm currently on ep 3 and so far so good! I love the family / sibling dynamic. Also, in this ep, we got to see quite a lot of the brothers' bromance which I love! Really hoping we don't get a love triangle here. I don't want second male lead liking the FL. Lowkey hoping maybe with her best friend though since I find them kinda cute.
If someone makes QJJ I'll go ballistic when it's announced LOL. I WANT TO SEE SHEN ZECHUAN!!!!!!!! (As long as…
Oh wow so I haven't read the novel but it's cool how you mention Neo Hou and Wanyan Luorong. They've had some bromance in Dashing Youth and I loved their bromance even more in I Am Nobody (it's unfortunate Luorong won't be in the second season tho). Lol it would be cool to see these two again.
The Untamed was one of my very first historical C-dramas to watch. I really enjoyed it the first watch. And I only watched it last year, tho it's a drama I've always wanted to watch since 2020-2021... Yeah, I pretty much regret getting into it late, but suibian (I may have used that word wrong, but whatever xD). I wanted to rewatch it so bad since it felt like it's been so long. Plus, with this introducing me to C-dramas, this kind of concept was so new to me. And bc of that, I forgot so much of the drama and even the big parts of it (tho I rmr some scenes vaguely). Tho at the same time, it is normal for me to forget a lot of dramas after months and years have passed.
Anyways, I watched Word Of Honor starting last month and ended like 2 days before they announced The Untamed would be leaving Netflix. My sister and I were legit thinking about even watching it after WoH bc, I mean, how nice would it be to transition from watching one BL adaptation to another? So yes, the timing was perfect! Plus, these are the only historical BL C-dramas released (at least well-known ones) so far, like that's it? We need the others... But man, watching WoH and transitioning to TU felt so good aahhh!
I don't have many complaints about this drama. But my biggest one is.... I'm sad they didn't play the OSTs throughout the drama. Only the theme song and Yanli's character song. I knew I remembered correctly. Just imagine if all the other songs played throughout the drama, especially the characters' songs in their own scenes? And don't get me started with how many of the cast members sing their own songs: Wei Ying, Lan Zhan, Wen Ning, Jiang Cheng, Xichen, and Sizhui (Yuan), Jin Ling, and Jingyi (group song).
Anyways, I am still finishing my first rewatch of TU and I'm nearing the end... I'm not ready to say goodbye again ㅠㅠ I can say... I feel like I love this drama even MORE after this rewatch. And I definitely understand the story a lot better. I want to forget the story again and rewatch it not remembering most of the scenes, but ik it will be more difficult to forget lol... But... I'll wait a year. A year might be enough to help me forget enough hehe. Also, time to read the novels soon and watch the donghua!
Fell in love with his Xiangliu in Lost You Forever. Can we please see him in Winner Is King eventually? After LYF, I became a fan of his acting. Seeing how he portrayed a difficult and complex character, I just know he'd do so well in Sha Po Lang.
Yes ofc! And yay I'm glad you love The Untamed! Winner Is King would surely be his next best one if it ever gets released! In fact, his role there will be a lot bigger it looks like, so I'm really eagerly waiting for it! It'll be so fun to see how he plays out in the drama!
You know this is the major case which is worrying us .
Yesss I actually bought all three novel series recently and they will arrive soon! Can't wait to start reading them! Which one's your favorite of them all?
Did they finish the filming of this series ? i mean will there be a change if the goverment changed his attitude
Yeah, they finished it back in 2021. And I heard that they are planning to release it eventually (like this year, but I highly doubt it... so maybe next year?). I don't have too much hope tho of it coming soon bc it's a BL, but let's hope we might actually get it and that the words that the producer has spoken really does come true...
You know this is the major case which is worrying us .
Tbh, idek yet! I don't know much about the stories for them since I haven't read their novels yet. But I also won't expect they'll totally follow them but hope at least keep its color. Anyways, from reading the novels' synopsis and reading a little bit about what is in the novels, I think I'll like Heaven Official's Blessing the most. Idk what to expect for the dramas tho, so I'm just looking forward to all with excitement :D I heard Immortality's novel is very angsty tho, so dang, I wonder how they'll do that (how much they will also tone it down) in the drama. But yeee, from the leaks, there is so much of Winner Is King and I'm already loving it thru them (which makes me even more eager to watch the drama lmao).
The Fox Spirit Matchmaker series that I'm looking forward to the most aahhhh so excited!! Chengyi and Li Yitong as a couple is gonna be no joke! Can't wait to see them both here but also Hero Legends where they are amazingly also a couple!!
Btw, when is this one really airing? I know Love in Pavillion should be coming out first, but I wonder when that will air and how much after this one will air. Will surely be 2025 for this one because of that.
This drama wasn't that bad for me when I was watching it while it was airing compared to the ratings. In fact, I still enjoyed it a lot despite the complaints I had with it. The complaints I had about this is they should have made Guoguo the main villain, like he'd be a lot more interesting. Also, we seriously needed more screen time for the other couples rather than just showing them one by one (which seems less realistic tbh lol). I wasn't super into the main romance but it wasn't too bad for me (Gong Jun's character seemed to like Yang Mi's character more than hers tho sadly). Also, you can't really deny that the OST is epic, like it truly is. That's what I'd rate the highest of this drama. Overall, it is true though that they could have done better with this. [Spoiler!!] Like maybe show that love can transcend everything by making all the couples have a happy ending? I feel like 7.1 rating is too low tho and am kinda still shocked how hated it is. I feel like people just had very high expectations for this but then were disappointed with it a lot which caused a lot of low ratings.

True... I'm just gonna pray we get Eternal Faith ones too 😭🙏 I haven't read the books but I hear it's really good, and it's about to be my first danmei to read. Now I'm gonna just hope the adaptation comes out eventually... Anyhow, which one do you look forward to the most?
So far, there haven't been any leaks, am I right? While Immortality and especially Winner is King has had some. I hope we get to see some leaks from this. I need a sign that this will air one day. I am not losing FAITH!!
Or atp, I will just become an IMMORTAL and wait for ETERNITY...
