imho, this is definitely a better air date than the originally rumoured May. Tencent is airing Qing Yu Nian 2 in mid-May, and it has strong original novel / IP fanbase (compared to original storyline in YXJ), whole heap of well known and popular veteran actors (almost none in YXJ), produced by a major company (YXJ is by Jinhe). Qing Yu Nian better not change their air date again!

Different costume leaks show that everyone in the Lotus Realm have white hair, and names are all Buddhism related (we're probably going to get a deeper, more mystical version of TTEOTM's Fleeting Life Dream worldview) - Tang Lici's warrior look reminds me of the God of the Sun.

Just wanted to clear up a misunderstanding that "leaked scenes get cut" - this thought process is initially from Chinese variety shows, and has never been used for Cdramas. If leaks get cut, some dramas would only run for less than half the intended length.

Scenes may get cut at the script level, during filming if a director thinks it's unnecessary,
and in the editing room if producers don't want to keep it / censors say no.

I have watched Blood of Youth, and can 100% confirm the screenwriter is Zhou Munan, not Lin Conghe. It seems like the writer of SLY is new - he/she only wrote a special of the Blood of Youth anime. Her latest project was the drama adaption of "Young Brewmaster", also with Chen Zhoufei.

The foul YZ is getting his comeuppance, because there are multiple edits on Bilibili promoting the second female lead of Bai Lu's modern drama, praising her for being a "normal human being" even though the stuff she does to get her way is terrible. I haven't watched that romance drama, but I don't like to see this sort of tactic on anyone. It seems like all the supporting characters are using the promotion tactics of Bitchang's actress by making up the plot and character actions and basically believing an imaginary tale over the actual drama (Wei Daxun and other actor agencies who want to see Yang Yang get trodden on perfected her methods during Fireworks of My Heart, but the tactics still reek of garbage).

This definitely needs to have a thread of its own! "World view thread", just like TTEOTM :)

1. Open https://youku.com/ (as desktop site if on phone search engine)
2. Copy 罗云熙治愈系恋人 into the search bar and click search
3. Open and watch any previews in the TV version (治愈系恋人TV版, should be the first result)
4. Close and repeat

Just to clarify - that was a competition set up by the fan station itself - if LYX fans "liked" the comments under LYX's See Young marketing weibo 50,000 times, the fan station would pay for the supporting flower wall themselves at the booting ceremony. It was just to get the fans moving and involved in doing reposts, comments and likes for Luo Yunxi's weibo so the data would look good. See Young had no involvement.

SDA announced winners already - in the main awards category only "The Long Season" and "Meet Yourself" won from China. Don't think they have a Popular Foreign Drama category anymore.

There's also a theory from Siying's death at the hands of Dimian that Original Devil God can turn into their heart's desire / who they want deep inside, so even though Devil God has LYX face, the true being may not actually look like LYX.

Wow are we up to the point where we're picking lyx's SLY costar already haha. Tbh I'm still lowkey hoping for Li Yitong, it's not like she hasn't accepted a male centric show before (Royal Nirvana, then recently picked up female lead without many scenes in Hero Legends)

Even though some of the promos are saying three lifetimes, technically it's just Tantai Jin going through all the suffering (Mingye's fleeting life dream arc was a catalyst to his demise anyways). Cang Jiumin was still Tantai Jin, but who understood and felt all emotions. Now I'm emo all over again...

Although, the difference between Bengbu and Yunnan (from drama Meet Yourself) is like the difference between Tuvalu (least visited country as per UN) and Bali XD Bengbu was never a tourist city, but Yunnan has always attracted a large number of visitors over the years.

The production studio said that YXW's costume auction miscarried, so I doubt they're going to get any funds. There are snarky commentators in the comments section saying Huanyu inflated the original auction price from 10k (where it had originally stopped) to 100k because they saw how popular TTJ's costume was, but weren't keen on actually donating the funds...let's see how that turns out.

Some good news:
1. The production company has released proof of payment showing funds from the charity auction of TTEOTM costumes in May has been successfully sent to the China Youth Development Foundation. Tantai Jin's hostage prince costume sold for 170k CNY (149k CNY donated after tax). Even though Tantai Jin had a hard childhood, he will be supporting many more children in their quest for a brighter future <3

2. This is old news, but the blue/red dragon statue (that was linked to Mingye during the airing of TTEOTM) in formerly unknown city of Bengbu was the only landmark in Anhui to receive additional funding from govt, and the drama's popularity has really helped revive the city's GDP and created a tourism industry for it.
