I just realized I've watched no Hong Kong ones. Actually, I think I did but I forgot what that one was called. It's kind of funny the remake of the Japanese one is the highest on that list.
You mean as in dating? Flirting confusion or obvious flirting? Sweet cuteness that's a tease or part of obvious…
Definitely the end of episode 6 and pretty much most of episode 7 is straight up obvious flirting. As the other person said, there are hints at flirting (and some accidental flat out flirting) with romantic tension before that, however.
Hello fan buddy hope everyone is doing well.I don't know if there are still a lot of people on the page. Just…
Lolz about the second place. haha If Bad Buddy can catch up that'd be amazing. I don't even care about first place. Second is good enough. With that said, He's Coming to Me isn't even on the list--always underrated. Sad days. haha I'm glad you can vote for more than one though. Not that I voted for any others close to the top three.
really wanted to watch this after i saw the edit on the girls. thought this was a gl. then i saw its a bl. then…
It'd be hard for them to since one wouldn't have interacted with the other that whole time--since her soul was elsewhere. I think there was a Japanese GL one I planned on watching . . .
Pretty sure it's a cultural thing. I remember seeing a few straight jdramas with no kiss scenes. It could also…
Yeah, it depends. I've seen both hetero and gay ones with no/slight kiss scenes and make out sessions. I don't think the make out scenes are usually long or super deep, but it happens. I mean I've seen basically sex scenes before as well. Not porn level, but yeah. The less comedic/fluffy it is the more likely there will be action.
I loved it but I just have one peeve: why do J bl drama all do this? Why are they so stingy with the kiss. I mean…
Typically comedic ones maybe get a kiss or two if you are lucky. The calm realistic type ones are more varied. It is possible this is the case because the comedic ones are made more for a wider or maybe younger audience.
That's great~I'm sure it is a combination of you just knowing it by heart and having learned some of the language.Learning…
Cool cool Yeah, I tend to pay attention to what's spoken while watching or playing things. I don't hyper focus on it though. It's like a semi-conscious thing because I generally like learning. I end up knowing enough to catch translation errors sometimes. It's usually a delayed response. I'd be like "wait, what...that seemed off". Then I go back and check.
Oh, I never thought about the box set not coming with subs. haha
Currently, on my xth rewatch, I've lost count of how many times since its airing. I stopped turning on the subtitles…

Learning languages is rather interesting. I tend to pick them up, accent and all, rather quickly. Not that I've focused a lot on reading and writing--if I'm being honest. I actually taught myself German before moving over there. I don't live there anymore and basically remember nothing, but I'd probably pick it up faster since I already learned some before. Out of the languages I learned, whether a little or a lot, Japanese is probably the one I've kept up with the most. I'm not fluent or anything. I don't think I'd put in the effort to fully learn a language unless I was living om the country. I do have a lot of foreign friends though. Some of them from Thailand, Korea and Japan.
Do you ever slip in foreign words when having normal conversations with friends? I do that and sometimes don't even notice until someone points it out. It's usually Japanese, but sometimes others. If I've been watching a ton of Thai stuff I'll randomly utter something in Thai, for instance.
i get ppl are tired of the university setting of bl’s but it’s actually refreshing to me when you watch all…
I never thought University settings were too much. It's different than high school ones after all. I feel like people just end up watching ones that are the same and start assuming most are like that. Which is basically what you pointed out. There is and have been different types. You just got to watch them. haha
Felt bad for Koyama, but I'm sure he'll find the one for him.

Poor EP 5. What's wrong with rock climbing? Pfft

Wait, did you watch this?
