I'm really enjoying the drama so far, but I'd appreciate it if they'd cut back from all these flashbacks a little…
I didn't mind it in this one since he was commentating over it part of the time. Otherwise we'd just see him being stuck in an awkward position in real time while realizing this or that in his mind. It probably could have been lessened though.
I agree a bit on the repetitiveness of the episode (but this is in line with most mangas turned to live-action)…
I wouldn't say I have struggled, but that's probably because I'm just an oddball. I've never cared about representation. Yet when I do happen to see it I'm pleasantly surprised. It's a nice bonus for me. Still, I'd be lying if I said I never felt a bit alone or maybe even lonely--so perhaps a little sub-community would be nice if anyone wanted to connect and talk about such things.

What is going on? This aro/ace conversation you started is gathering people together like a mini fun-loving community~ Haha This site is the first time I met someone like me in that regard--and I ran across four in a week.
I haven't watched the fifth episode yet so I can't really join in on an already finished conversation though. haha
This scene 🤣🤣🤣 oh god https://youtube.com/shorts/T8b2-OP_vK0?feature=share
I commented on that one I think. Something about how Pran is probably the more possessive one because he brought Wai, knowing the other two were there, just to annoy Pat. haha
The link doesn't work anymore, but from what I can gather maybe a combo of Ohm feeling sick yet still going to the event and them having a bit of an argument for whatever reason. Nothing to worry about I'm sure. Even if he isn't sick, friends fight sometimes.
I'm just gonna recommend stuff which may or may not be something you'd find interesting. Haha --I'm not touching on how much physical intimacy is or is not in the show.
FROM THAILAND He's Coming to Me. Ohm is in it and it has the same director as this one. It has a mystery element to it because one of the mains is a ghost. It's more on the cute sad side compared to this ones comedic sad. If that even makes sense. haha
Manner of Death. It's a murder mystery with romance. Definitely more adult themed. There are cute parts woven in a bit.
Theory of Love. It revolves around film students. Their degree is woven into the show nicely. It's more of a realistic sad type than anything.
Together With Me. The mains are the same as in Manner of Death. It's a dark realistic type of show. Heavier themes, but set in university.
FROM JAPAN Life: Love on the Line It is a story about the couple spanning from teenagers to old age. Realistic in nature. Cute and sad. Character focused.
Kieta Hatsukoi Has a similar comedic, yet cute, nature of Cherry Magic and Mr. Unlucky. Which Kabe mentioned them already so that's why I didn't. Unlike the other two it is set in high school. Character focused. The friendships are great~
Seven Days It's a two part movie, but sometimes it is confused with being two separate one hour long movies. The titles aren't exactly the same. Anyway, this one is the oldest on the list by quite a bit. Set in high school. It's cute, character focused and realistic in nature.
I suppose that's enough for now . . . Something I just noticed is how the Japanese ones I said are character focused while the Thai ones are more story based. haha
Side Note: When I say 'sad' I'm not technically implying the show has a sad ending. Just to be clear.
Plus, the commenter is indirectly implying in the earlier part that CP got many bad reviews and comments (and…
I wouldn't knock shows before then. Even just dipping into different countries would have other experiences. I've been watching for a long time . . . perhaps we can chat in DMs about what might actually interest you. For instance, what is it that makes you not like ones set in school?
Plus, the commenter is indirectly implying in the earlier part that CP got many bad reviews and comments (and…
Yeah, I do feel some (probably more the younger crowd) severely downgrade more adult themed shows. It's quite unfortunate since a lot of them are actually good--in my opinion.
I think they might be young because sometimes experience is needed to understand certain things better. The longer you have lived the more general experience you obtain. I recently talked to someone who confessed to how he used to emotionally rate a show a 1 or 2 just because of one incident that happened in said show. Not bothering to consider anything else. Now he doesn't do that of course, but I'm sure there are a lot of people who rate things just because something upset them personally. I mean obviously rating something is opinion based, but feelings about these things can cloud judgements as well. Which is where the crazy sounding claims/statements come from--probably.
As for liking healthy stuff . . . I think it's because bl shows used to show toxic relationships a lot more than not. There needs to be a balance--in my opinion. I'm not someone who would rate something better or worse just because of the healthiness of the relationship though.
I saw this very recent comment at CutiePie page (I quoted part of the comment), the same commenter also posted…
Well, I think it's okay to say it's bland and mediocre because that's your opinion. I'd prefer people to say in a way that doesn't sound like a fact though. With that said, I don't think saying it in that context is okay. There is no point in complaining about something based on opinion and no real research. We all would like what we think is amazing to be liked. End of story.
I'm surprised someone is still talking about that. I mean I get that seems to be the case for all the shows when they are first airing (and how you'd feel it's only happening to the shows you like) but . . . by the end usually the people commenting actually have opinions because they watched it.
The show was not bad per se but not worth the hype in my opinion. I was pretty bored to be honest, but maybe that…
I mean not connecting with a main character is deadly. There is no way you'd enjoy it if that's the case. There are some actors I don't seem to jive with for whatever reason. I will give whatever they star in a chance, but usually it ends up with me dropping it. At least partly because I can't connect with the actors character. Everything else about the show could be amazing, sometimes it even frustrates me when the story seems great, but it's hard to get a true feel for a story if you can't connect to a key character or two. We aren't invested in the characters and thus it makes everything else less enjoyable.
This show is a simple story with a few interesting spins on things, but the big pull is the main characters and their chemistry. It's more about them growing as characters and navigating their relationship. Since it is mostly character based it makes sense for you to find it boring. Even if you were an Ohm fan, if you can't really get into Nanon's character it will hinder how you experience Ohm's character. I mean I don't care how amazing make out scenes are . . . if I'm not feeling the characters I feel nothing and it is boring. Perhaps you are similar in that regard.
Side Note: Perhaps if they had more episodes the conflicts would have panned out a bit better.
If you calculate it . . . it is roughly an 7.5. MDL gives extra points for other things like activity or whatever.…
If you calculate the ratings using the currently watching, dropped, completed, verified and the average of the episodes. That's the actual rating people are giving the shows. In order to see four of those things you need to hover your mouse over the overall rating (the big orange 8). Hope that makes more sense. It's not that I can see some number you can't. I just merely made the effort to calculate some things because people (not in this comment section) were starting to notice things were off. Especially when comparing BL vs nonBL.
I mean if you really want me to explain about it more--just message me privately. haha
Not sure how this brainless drama got 8 rating on MDL, I think since the series ended just yesterday more people…
If you calculate it . . . it is roughly an 7.5. MDL gives extra points for other things like activity or whatever. I don't know the exact things it is tracking. They do this with all shows--unless a BL is right at the cutoff cap (or passed it probably).
The main point is . . . the real ratings for shows are actually lower--so it still has a fair rating. Minus the capping situation.
I have not watched it yet but have seen a few clips on twitter but the comments here say a different story. Even…
Yeah, I'd also say to at least try the first episode. This is coming from someone who dropped the show after the second one. For me, it was mostly because I couldn't get into any of the characters. I couldn't really tell you why that is though. I also don't like communication issues that seem to be made solely for plot reasons. Communication fails happen. Don't get me wrong, but still. I noticed in the first episode the potential for this to be an issue, but I actually dropped it before any real annoying communication issues happened. Hence why I said it was really just me not being able to connect to the characters.
My point is . . . for me . . . characters are pretty much the most important and unnecessary drama (because of certain things like ridiculous lack of communication) is a turn off for me. Both things are personal to me. You might love the characters and not care as much about whatever issues people might personally have with the show--and that's fine. Why not try one episode? Not that you have to. haha
Edit: Just kidding it already aired. It's called Koisenu Futari.

It's okay for what it is, personally.
Something about how Pran is probably the more possessive one because he brought Wai, knowing the other two were there, just to annoy Pat. haha
Wait, why are they talking about it in a totally unrelated comment section?
