I still think she's the real heir. She also came from the orphanage. Probably from the same orphanage?Possible…
Yeah, that's the sad reality. When they create a very interesting character, it's only technically an extra or a plot device. Then in another story, they create an uninteresting character, develops it a lot but still end up uninteresting. 😂

I love this type of stories where someone plays the manipulation game. It's so relatable. 😈 The thrill! The challenge! It's live or die! It's either you come out as the victor or it all backfires on you.

It's like skydiving but only this time, the stakes are much higher because you still get to live but your entire life and reputation is unsalvageable. 😈

1 episode per week is the industry standard. AFAIK, only the Korean industry releases two per week. Also, 30 minutes…
Oh, yes, I forgot about that.

I think it's a popular format in Latin America?

Here in the Philippines it's mixed. 1 episode per week and 5 days week. If they only planned a few episodes, it's one per week. If they planned 50–100 episodes, it's weekdays. But all are 30 minutes per episode.

Besides, HyeJi is happy for whatever life throws at her. She's happy the Chairman's assets are in good hands.

If she's the real heir, it's a perfect way to have an ordinary life too instead of being in the spotlight.

If HyeJi really is the real heir, they probably left it mysterious because people might react badly if someone else died for her, and they never showed scenes HyeJi being sad about it.

If it was planned by the chairman because he knew evils of the stepdaughter, that will certainly make the audience go into uproar because the Chairman knew and he hired a youngster to such a role knowing the can get killed.

So, maybe, they cut all of it and left HyeJi's identity open-ended to be safe.

Wow. They really left the identity of HyeJi open-ended. 😂 That was a very bold move in Kdrama industry, where…
I still think she's the real heir.

She also came from the orphanage. Probably from the same orphanage?

Possible scenarios:
- the fake heir stole her identity
- they agreed to switch their identities and swore not to tell anyone ever
- there was an error.and mix-up
- the Chairman probably knew and took that secret to his grave

I mean, consider the following:
- HyeJi was texting someone while spying on FL. They never hinted anything about it.
- HyeJi is far too curious about who the Chairman was hiring.
- HyeJi did her best to find the whereabouts of the FL.
- HyeJi always joke about having millions of money.
- HyeJi did not show loyalty, rather, she acted as if all the assets belong to her so she protected it.

Yep. Typical for any Pacific-Asian productions.

1 episode per week is the industry standard. AFAIK, only the Korean industry releases two per week. Also, 30 minutes per episode is the standard in Pacific-Asia, only the Koreans broke from it and increased it to 60 minutes average.

You know, a secondary/tertiary character made an impression on me if I can remember their name instead of using generic labels.

Like …

HyeJi!

Rule Number 1 — do not trust K-drama trailers 🫣 They often misrepresent scenes (like voiceover is from Scene…
☝🏽 That.

It's also common practice even in other countries to use scenes that never made the final cut. More often than not, trailers and previews were made earlier too, and usually because they already know what form the final cut will be. Instead of wasting scenes, they use them for trailers and previews.

Title Would You Marry Me? Spoiler
You know, people like the 2FL are sometimes dangerous.

- it usually is a sign of obsession, not love

So far, the 2FL appears to be just acting like a fool. Did she not realise that spilling the beans of someone often ends up pushing away the person you want to keep for yourself? 😅

1. Never ever spill the secrets of the person you want to own
2. Never ever confront the person they like
3. Never ever do anything that will show you're bullying, directly or indirectly, the person they like (like whispering to their family, or finding every fault you can)

That person you like will hate you to the ends of the earth even if you get what you want. They will never ever love you, not even like you. They'll just pretend and "do their job" because (1) they were forced into it; and (2) to protect the person they truly love.

It's the same in reverse where two guys are fighting for the same girl, most especially when it comes to throwing punches. Even if you are the boyfriend, never ever throw the first punch against someone trying to woo your woman unless she gives you permission (or there's danger already, or sexual harassment obviously). It's how you handle the situation peacefully that will help her stay focused. If you throw the first punch, she'll be confused, and you both will fight about it for days. If you think you're so macho, then take a few punches first, you're so macho anyway.

Going back to the 2FL. She needs to realize that the name of the game is getting his mind and heart to only focus on you. Not confronting the other girl, nor using your connections to his family.

If the 2FL is fine with getting the 1ML even if he will only pretend, then she's sick, and this should be reclassified as melodrama. 😁

Actually, P is the correct pronunciation. However, not an aspirated P like how Germanic and Romance languages…
I was actually surprised the subtitle translator gave extra effort in the romanization. In other shows, they don't adjust it. But you'll hear them pronounce it the same.

Personally, I never saw Yeong Ran as a logic person from the beginning. I can see how she comes off that way.…
Ahh! I like that, a very good assessment.

I agree, she is masking, trying to look strong and all. But because it was only that, she easily cracked against someone as the Professor, and one specializing in manipulation.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I love it! 🙇🏽

I just remembered. There was another character who was suspicious but they never showed him again.

Remember in the episode where conractual workers arrived in the town as well as the fake school driver?

- one particular contractual worker was given a focused, and he was keeping his head down
- when the ML was looking at the room of the workers, the camera shot was the contractual worker quietly checking the ML peeking at them
- after that we never saw that character again

Initially, I thought it was the hired CCTV destroyer, but their body built and hair are different.

Am I seeing things or we have another mystery unsolved?

Could he be the secret bodyguard to look after HyeJi to ensure she's safe? But then again, he miserably failed if so.

Now, there is only one reveal left: HyeJi.
You know, if HyeJi really is the real daughter, I wonder if the chairman is aware. HyeJi keeps on texting someone in secret, maybe it's the chairman.

When he learned she followed the FL, he probably talked to her to keep him updated or he'll drag her back. 😅😅

And the attorney was suspicious also. He only checked if HyeJi arrived safe. It seems he also know who she really is.
