I am glad I read your explanation first. It saved me a whole lot of typing lol. I was literally getting ready to basically respond to them with my own version of all you said. Glad to see someone else here that sees what is actually going on instead of just fangirling over one particular actor. Don't get me wrong I love Tianqi too, but I like to follow a story line with where it is actually leading. :) BTW great summarizing

There are different ways to define strong. It doesn't necessarily mean physical strength. Personally, I think she is very strong emotionally. She is able to adjust to different problems without breaking down into a blubbering mess of a human. And she is smart enough to think outside of the box and not let everyone manipulate her into thinking the same way that they do.
Is the female lead as much of a raging *BLEEP* as she appears in the trailer? I have had this on PTW for a while but I can never seem to get myself to pull the trigger because of how much her character in the trailer seemed so horrid.....But BIN BIN lol (literally the only reason I keep it on my PTW list) HELP. I would just like to point out a quick point. All of these actors have contracts that they agree to. They also get to have a say of what they are comfortable with. There are many actors/actresses that have eliminated certain things that they will not do. So on that point, if these gentlemen had a problem with showing off their abs they would have nixed it in their contracts. Also, on a totally different note. Just wondering with all the people that have in issue with it, curious if they have the same issue with going to the beach and seeing all the shirtless guys there?

Unfortunately, yes. It all comes down to the legality of it. Hopefully the courts will look at the extenuating circumstances and will let it go, but I seriously doubt that will happen.

So if they adapted the ending to the ending of the novel, I do believe this would be the first time in that I would have actually preferred the screenwriters to have some creative leeway. Ironically this would be the one time that they would follow it faithfully.

I love how you said that the ML lacks emotional understanding. I agree with you. Everyone keeps trying to say that he isn't supposed to have any emotions but he betrays that all the time without knowing it. I think that his upbringing taught him to lock down his emotions so much that he never learned to understand about what emotions were what.
