No, I pretty sure she is correct. People who still accuse someone for something that has already been proven false are stupid. The police straight up arrested someone saying that they were false allegations made up by someone wanting to get more views. So yeah, stupid is the word.
Also, it is called cancel culture. When people go out of their way to destroys someone's life around a rumor (or not waiting until all evidence is clear) then that is cancel culture. Consequence for actions would be by the police or those close to them. Or if you want to go the fan route, then them simply not going to any movies or events. But to actively try to destroy someone is canceling.

What's funny about your statement is that the drama was a fantasy based drama. Alternate reality and all the tropes that come along with it. It was never based in reality so the arguments that it doesn't follow real life events is absolutely asinine. If people cannot discern reality from fiction and base their emotional responses on such then they really should find a good therapist.
Most countries have "Historical Fiction" types of shows that do not come close to what happened in real life. You do not see them having toddler melt-downs about it. Because they realize that it is nothing but a fictional drama.
If this was a show that depicted "real life historical figures'" OR "real life historical events" then we can talk about outrage.

I agree. Even though I liked PA I decided to approach watching this like it was a whole new drama. I have really enjoyed it. I also don't need a ton of PDA to get a get a romantic vibe. Also, everyone complaining should keep in mind that the ages for the time period are probably pretty accurate all things considered

I honestly think most of the bad reviews are because they didn't bring back the original cast. People are petty as hell. I get that there is disappointment in a recast (I was bummed myself) but what were they supposed to do when the originals were unavailable or refused to take part? But this cast is doing an amazing job. People need to stop nitpicking every freaking thing just because things didn't necessarily go their way
