@ciudaddedios I never said that you were racist. I said that you were rude and clueless. If you do not like this kind of drama-asian historical dramas (whether they be fantasy or not) then that is fine. Everyone has their own preferences. What is not fine is getting on here and letting your inside thoughts out. Yes, this might not be your cup of tea but this is a cultural thing that you are smearing.
Just for a little historic background - Confucianism emphasizes that the body, including hair, skin, and nails, is a gift from one's parents. Therefore cutting a persons hair was shameful. This is a historic fact. So your "EW" is most definitely beyond Rude and Clueless.

@ciudaddedios you do realize that there are people on here from all over. Not just from whatever country you come from. Your attitude is rather rude considering that this is part of someones culture. Maybe because of the title? I'm not sure. But honestly, I came close to not even trying it because of that very thing. Seriously, if it weren't for the fact that Taecyeon is in it, I probably wouldn't have given the trailer a look. I am so glad that I did though.

By the way, I saw a theory on here somewhere that suggested one of the main villains is HRY's head disciple. I am just putting in my two cents that I don't think he is. I am suspicious of the second main disciple with white hair (Zi Yang?) though, so there is that.

I really don't understand people who watch dramas and get upset because of the plot, storyline, (ie: harems for historical dramas, having modern mentality expectation for any drama that is not modern, forgetting what genre they are watching, or even the fact that culturally these story lines and characters most likely are not going to align with yours if you are not Asian, etc...I really could go on with the list) . Honestly it is frustrating listening to the rants about things.
Don't get me wrong, I understand that not everyone is going to like the same dramas. But if the main complaints are things that fit along the story line and that is the complaint then maybe that drama and genre isn't your cup of tea.

nope. was very clear. punishment isn't decided on a whim of who shows up or not. The punishment was already decided and would be followed through with. BJS took both of their punishments. The speculation that "we don't know if the heaven realm would be different now" is nonsensical given the fact that it is literally a chinese xanxia drama. They base those off of their mythology of their heavenly realms.

Punishment would have been the same. The Emissary was literally waiting for BJS on the platform. The punishment would not have changed simply because HRY showed up. Why would you even think that???

that is NOT why people are giving a different perspective on things. Those of us that can understand BJS's logic has nothing to do with appearances. Also the fact that we can see that he looks at HRY as an equal yet at the same time as someone he wants and needs to protect. People make mistakes. He realizes his mistake but at the same time never blames HRY for her mistakes (and she has just as many as he does.)

Where do I sit? I am on both of their sides. Sorry, but I honestly cannot be against either given the circumstances. Plus I believe that they both truly love one another . I need a middle seat LOL
