Bullcrap. She is extremely selfish. The only reason she hasn't pushed her boundaries with the male lead more is because she knows that he would kick her out. She uses her position to keep in close proximity of ML who has no interest in her (and she is absolutely aware of that).
She is sneaky and manipulative. She didn't leave the FL in captivity for the Male leads best interest or for the country for that matter. She straight up left her thinking that if FL wasn't in the picture then she would have a chance. She has done nothing but wait and look for opportunities for herself to get closer to the ML. But she is smart enough to know that she cannot appear to be doing so.

I am with you. I cannot stand her. I don't care what her reasonings are. She has choices that she can make that would not lead her down the path she is going, she is just blatantly ignoring them and doing as she pleases. I have no sympathy for her at all

Well, since the world does not revolve around you and everyone has their own taste and preferences (and many people did enjoy this show), you can go find something else to watch that suits you better.

Isn't it wonderful that you have free will and don't have to watch it? And the ones who did enjoy it gets to continue on in their journey. Win win for everyone

Does anyone have a solid answer for the episode release dates? I haven't seen any sort of update so still trying to figure out if this is accurate

I just looked at the episode release dates. We get 1 episode tomorrow, but then we don't get any more until October 4th?? What is going on? Is there some event happening in China? That is a seriously long gap

I should also add that I don't have an issue with your review. You were honest on your views of the show. Which is fine. But the star rating should only be used if you have watched the whole thing. Rating it low when you haven't put in the effort to watch the whole thing is a ridiculous. That is the same as the people who get on and rate a drama before it has even aired.

You shouldn't be rating a whole show on only a few episodes. People who do this are disingenuous at best.

If you do not like this kind of drama-asian historical dramas (whether they be fantasy or not) then that is fine. Everyone has their own preferences. What is not fine is getting on here and letting your inside thoughts out. Yes, this might not be your cup of tea but this is a cultural thing that you are smearing.
Just for a little historic background - Confucianism emphasizes that the body, including hair, skin, and nails, is a gift from one's parents. Therefore cutting a persons hair was shameful. This is a historic fact. So your "EW" is most definitely beyond Rude and Clueless.
