Ridiculous

I don't expect anything groundbreaking when I start a VD and I settle for the bare minimum but this was too ridiculous.

First I believe the budget here is less than other VDs cause almost all characters barely changed their outfit, even the two leads had probably 2-3 outfits through the whole show.

The story is obviously silly, but if you are going to make something stupid, at least make it believable.
For instance, the ML started this whole sh!tshow because the FL looks like his first love .. alright, great this part is understandable, now when his first love is back, they don't look alike, there is not a slightest resemblance between them, the girl looked like a mixture of too many plastic surgeries, and almost the polar opposite of the FL.
Another thing is the way the ML appear out of no where in places he has no business being at.
I could understand the stupid story but the unrealistic moments are annoying.

The ML is terrible person, I mean this is not the average cold controlled CEO who is obsessed with the FL and want her for himself, this is just a jerk in a suit, he just flung his money at the FL and act like he bought her from the market.
Also when his first love appeared, he was so terrible with the FL, like if you still have feelings for your first love, why did you force her to divorce and cut ties with her family, I mean they are shitty people but that's still none of your business if you only want to use her as a substitute body for your first love.

The FL also is too innocent, and extremely stupid, like she doesn't even have two brain cells to communicate what is right and what is wrong, probably the IQ of a dead lizard, like who agrees to sleep with another person aside from her husband just to earn him a promotion? And why do you want to get pregnant by a stranger as if that's a reason to sleep with a him so yeah you accept because that's the only way you can have a child, have they tried adoption or any other way to get her pregnant?
Like I don't know what was wrong with the writers but the characters here are just bad.

So ridiculous story, with bad characters, and questionable acting, I think you should pass on this one ~

This was sad but has some lessons to teach too.

The main this I liked was highlighting how to treat people who are grieving, it's always about the loss and how to deal with it, but her is about people around them, and how can they make it more bearable for them.

The way they showed the FL strong, and didn't break down till the end is saying it all, how can we help those who hide all their pain inside and not show their vulnerability easily.
the way the two guys were too insensitive in the beginning toward the whole thing, they were arguing about the casket without thinking about the idea of "carrying the casket" ... You are in a funeral there is no room for ridiculous jealousy and competition.

I like how eventually they did the right thing, and how in the end the FL finally was able to let all her feelings of pain and loss get out.

Not one of my fav cause I don't usually like sad stories but still it was a great story

This was AMAZING I loved it so much!!

The story was so funny with a mixture of thriller and the two leads were brilliant, even the serial killer was funny and I know the story is supposed to be unrealistic specially that dance at the end but it was so much fun.

I really want to watch the two leads together in something, Kim AhYoung was so funny here and the fun chemistry is so good.

I might be slightly biased because horror comedy is my all time favourite genre but here it's mostly comedy with horror parody.

So far this is my favourite story.

My least favourite LXX drama so far

I like LXX and I believe he is a great actor, I've seen quite a few of his dramas and I think he has chemistry with every actress he acted with even in shows that were not that great or has a very ridiculous story.

But here there was no chemistry with the FL, his appearance was scarce compared to the FL, she is the main focus of the whole show more than the ML, the whole revenge story is lame and not interesting, I was bored while watching and I already had hard time following the story because the link I used to watch was quite weird and wasn't well edited which made the whole experience worse.

Is it unwatchable? Not really, but I've seen much better to not like this one, what I didn't like the most was the storytelling and I didn't even care about the two leads characters or the whole revenge plot.

I believe the ML has better other shows to watch and generally there are other VDs that are more interesting anyway ~

A movie for dance lovers only

I hate to be this person who doesn't agree with everyone else in thinking this is a great movie, but let me explain why I didn't like it that much.

First of all, I'm not a fan of these type of dances, never were my thing and I've never been interested in them, so this movie is very niche IMO, only if you are interested in this world you will enjoy it.
You may ask me, why do you watch a movie about something you are not interested in? Simply because movies are made to make you interested in those things, to capture your attention through story telling to the beauty of different things you are not interested in or probably never came across before, so you'll end up with a new perspective about new things. This movie failed to do that for me.

Second thing is the acting from the two leads .... It's spectacular and brilliant talent in showing a wide range of emotions that both characters felt.
The thing is, despite the great effort made from both leads Keita and Ryoma, I didn't understand the reason of those emotions they show, like you can understand the emotion but why did this character had that feeling at this particular scene, for example... And this could be a spoiler so skip... When Sugiki tells Suzuki about the first tournament with yagami and how he bullied her and bla bla bla to the end of the scene... Suzuki gets disappointed, he get on the train, Sugiki follows him, and kisses him, the other guys melt then a reverse Beggin' by Måneskin moment where he tells him
"I could be the beauty and you can be the monster"... And the whole scene ends with a weird remark from Sugiki that he's always inspired him ...
What am I supposed to get from this scene? How did we go from this point to that one? I understand the pure emotions they both shows but I don't understand the situation, I think my mind is broken or something, also I love Ryoma, so so much, but why does his character have this look of disgust most of the times ...

The end... It was abrupt, and weird. That's it, I'll say no more ...
I genuinely believe that people just get over hyped about anything that has a hint of a BL even if it's not that great, and if it wasn't for the fantastic acting, I don't see any appeal in the story none whatsoever ~

It was very wholesome and heartwarming, not as sad as expected, I thought I'd cry rivers, but I watched the whole thing and didn't cry, maybe I'm not that sensitive lol

Everyone did great, and the lil girl was so adorable and cute, I loved the adoption story the most, also this is all connected stories which is something I like.

I'm not a pet person at all, I can't bear to watch them go which is why one of the stories was hard to watch for me, but still it was very lovely movie I'd recommend it for pet lovers and owners of dogs.

The big golden dog was so cute 🥰

Beautiful

For a short movie, this was so beautiful and touching.

First, it's loosely based on Natsume Soseki's novel Kokoro:
I think it's only influenced by it not an adaptation or anything, and I was about to be angry when I started it and found out that it has absolutely nothing to do with the book -except maybe the love and guilt theme- because I'm a huge fan of it, but this movie was so good that I didn't care about it being an adaptation or not.

The story is painfully beautiful and the 3 actors did a great job, I usually refrain from saying anything in my reviews for short movies because it's only 30 mins, anything I say about it would spoil everything but I loved it so much.

Kouhei was so pretty, he broke my heart in the confession scene, it was heart-wrenching, the way he said those words to Takuya's character... I want to give him a hug, I don't understand how could he bear to watch him like that and leave.

Great acting in a weird story.
İf it didn't have that one trope that I really enjoy I wouldn't have rated it that high...

First story had potential, I've seen many full length Chinese dramas that has a similar plot, here it's messy and has many plot holes with some questionable moments that makes you scratch your head, but the idea itself could be developed into something..

Also as I said above this has one of my favourite trope, I don't even know if I can call it a trope but this type of love and commitment is something I really love to watch, and the way he let her do whatever she want, he let her do what her heart's desire, you wanna destroy me, babe, go on do it, while in fact he is the one in control but he still let her, he'd be happy being shot and killed by her...
also I LOVE when the jealousy is controlled, and pointed at others not his lover, like if someone touched her, he'd get angry at that person not her, in all the dramas I see men tend to blame the woman for letting others get close, I hate that, if she didn't do anything and the gesture is from the other guy then why would you get mad at her?
Like the scene when she was trying on the wedding dress and he found her ex fiancé inside, he didn't do anything to her ...

Acting is great, I love what those two leads had, I don't know the sexual tension here is fire!! Like they can be just talking, or looking at each other and you could feel something between them, the ML has a very unique way of acting, the way he smile after each sentence, a half creepy half amused smile that makes me smile with him, I don't think everyone would like his way of acting, but I did.

I liked it but I really wanna slap the FL, maybe with a baseball bat or something... cause what the hell is wrong with you, why did you do that at the end.

The guy literally did every nice thing possible to be done to a human, and you did what? Leave because you are scared? Mate, if you doubt the damn guy! Just ask him what happened! Are you allergic to proper human conversations???

I really was enjoying this, good acting, nice story, cliché but still good budget for a vertical drama, and everything was great, till that end.

Now instead of finishing it feeling great, the happiness I felt for 3 hours disappeared and now I was left with frustration and annoyance.

I'm not saying it's bad, it's actually great, little to no cringe moments and as I said good acting so nothing to hate, what I didn't like was the last few mins only so it's worth a watch.

Great beginning but with a disappointing ending, they paired every single character with another yet didn't develop any of their stories except for the main one.
Like are they together? are they not!? Specially Alex and RJ, the most dissatisfying story of them all, on the span of 12 ep they didn't manage to show any progress, none whatsoever.
They had enough time and space in the 12 EPs to include scenes and scenes that shows the other couples beside the main ones but they didn't also there are plenty of unnecessary scenes here and there that added nothing at all and could be easily removed without affecting the story.
Overall slightly disappointing because I always have high expectations for Taiwanese BLs because most of them are really good alas this wasn't the case for this one, and despite being entertaining it left a sour taste at the end of it.

Addictive

I can't believe I sat on my arse for almost 4 hours to watch a vertical drama, this was very addictive and we have Chen Si to thank for that.

This baby boy got me sticking to my screen just to watch him wrecking a havoc.

Story is ok-ish, it's full of bad things happening mostly the ML does something terrible for the FL then the FL does something bad for him, and so on, by the end of if I don't know if I want them to be together or stay the hell away from each other.
Maybe send them to a couple therapy or something.

Acting is fine, Chen Si carried the whole show, the FL is meh, I understand why everyone keep saying it should be a different actress, she isn't a bad actress per se, nor did she do a bad job, she was ok but very very awkward with the ML.

The chemistry is thrown into the gutter because she wasn't very "responsive" to the ML in the intimate scenes, and she looks very uncomfortable while kissing, she isn't the first FL I see kiss with her mouth closed, but she carried the whole "I'm too forced" for the whole show making it hard for us to watch any intimate scene.

And I understand that her character is supposed to be "hating" any flirty gestures, but I've seen other vertical dramas where the FL is also in a same situation yet they were not that awkward when touched by the ML.

I don't know how to explain it really but it's like that.

Finally I would recommend it, it's not for everyone for sure but if you are into these type of stories then you are in for a treat. Just don't expect something sexy like the poster suggest, it's mostly emotional not physical.
