I think more likely they will skip arcs and make their own story using inspiration from the novel, either that or they would have to make it like 60 + episodes to get something even close ish, they did announce this is the last season

Its a company's right to remove people they think will be damaging to their brand, do I think this is a bit of an overreaction yes especially if the scenes were already shot, but I know if I were in that position with a big company and a lot of money I would offer them help and rehab and other resources but they would also be banned from projects until its all worked out nothing personal.

I'm watching the show right now and the r*** scene in ep 21 is disturbing but it's important too right? because we see the guy's white robes so I'm assuming it's Bai Choufei. If my guess is right then its an important scene if not then it really has no place and is just creepy
