Title Perfect Crown
Is it officially a rom-com - I swear it was missing the comedy tag until recently and was just labelled a romance…
Honestly, even before the comedy label was added, I had a feeling it would be a melodrama. But after the comedy label was added and I watched the teaser trailer, my thoughts changed a bit. I think it will focus on comedy at the beginning and then drama later in the series.

Title Whale Star: The Gyeongseong Mermaid
why exactly?
He's handsome, but he doesn't capture the vibes of the Haesu character. Also, they should have chosen someone taller and more muscular for the role of Haesu. Also, in my opinion, she looks a bit too old for the Haesu character, since these characters are teenagers. That's why I'm curious how Mun Ka will play the 17-year-old Su A character.

I know nothing about the story, so I can’t agree or disagree with you. But I’ll have to say, he was a bad…
She wasn't suitable for the role of the student, and she didn't look good with Kim Da Mi He or Shin Yeeun.

I agree with you. That was the biggest reason why A Hundred Memories was bad; they definitely should have chosen a different actor. As for Whale Star, the webtoon is one of my favorites, and the casting for Hae Su and Su A was so bad, they absolutely shouldn't have chosen those actors. Look, Wooshik isn't a great choice for Uihyeon either, but it's still acceptable. However, I can't accept Hae Su and Su A. Personally, I think Jung Haein or Park Bogum should play Uihyeon, and Shin Yeeun, Go Minsi, or Kim Go Eun could play Su A, or even Kim Da Mi. Jang Dong-yoon or Steve Noh could play Hae Su.

Filming is supposedly scheduled for early February and to air on KBS
So, considering KBS2 usually airs shortly after filming is finished, what are your thoughts on the possibility of it airing in 2026? ☺️

The poster... it's so beautiful, so beautiful that the plot and cast of the series didn't initially interest me, but I wanted to watch this series just for the poster.

from the title, poster, and synopsis I already imagined something like When the Weather is Fine and A Piece of…
Forget about the comedy genre; there probably won't be any comedy left.
