THIS FILM DESERVES A FULL 8.8 RATİNG.
First of all, I should mention that this will be a short review because I don't know what to write at length. When I watched part of the trailer, I thought it was a thriller and thought, "Ah, it would be great if it were a romantic series." Then it appeared on MDL, and after watching a bit, I saw that it was a movie and a romantic one. So I thought maybe I'd watch it, but it completely slipped my mind. Then today I saw that this movie came out and decided to start watching it for a bit of fun. Before starting, I thought it would just be an ordinary coming-of-age story. But it was definitely so much more than that. When I finished it, I told myself, "I'm so glad I watched this." The romance between them was lovely, and it delivered everything it promised. Although I thought the ending was a little strange, it was quite good and I liked it. Finally, this movie deserves a full 8.8 rating. First of all, Kim Seon Ho and Go Younjung really excited me, and this drama felt very different to me; you know, considering the popularity of the screenwriters and the cast, it's impossible not to be excited.So I watched it as soon as it came out, and honestly, I didn't like the character of DO RA MI at all; it was better without her, and the romantic scenes felt very inadequate to me. I didn't like the lead actress's character either acted very childish and silly, which annoyed me sometimes, but it wasn't bad, watchable. MASTERPIECE
It was a masterpiece, truly a masterpiece. Such a masterpiece that you will feel the essence of motherhood deep in your bones. How can scenes that are so calm, so still, and drawn straight from everyday life keep a person this tense, this constantly on edge?How can someone become such a beautiful and sincere mother without ever having had a real mother herself?
After finishing it, I couldn’t shake off its impact. When I watched the finale and the screen faded to black, I kept staring at that long black screen for quite a while… a long while. The last time I felt the theme of finding happiness and peace portrayed with such sincerity was in the finale of It's Okay to Not Be Okay.
While watching Mother, I was deeply moved by the bonds between the characters, and I postponed watching the final episode for a long time because I was so afraid of saying goodbye to this series and to these precious characters.
When I finally watched the finale, I realized that I could never truly say goodbye to them—because this drama, from its very first episode, will live in my heart forever.
It is absolutely recommended. It’s not an ordinary family drama; it’s a masterpiece.
