It was definitely this drama of him for me. Do you have a link of this interview? I personally felt Our Generation was a turning point for ZLH as his acting definitively reached a serious level and that is when I actually started looking forward to more of his work.

I felt the same. Novel is actually completely from FL perspective, ml's role is written to be supportive mostly. That just how the story is. I hope he doesn't pick such scripts again.

It is NOT a fast burn, the relationship evolves slowly, episode by episode.... That is why the binging at the end is recommended. Pace is not defined by how early they fall for each other, but how quickly the relationship develops into passionate intimacy and in this case the relationship is definitely not fast burn but nor is it a slow burn because we haven't entered the "having real conversations" territory yet! It is a budding moment by moment romance at best.

Let me rephrase- It will 1000%be more satisfying if you binge it all together later. One episode breaks are breaking the dynamics.

I don't think you understand storytelling to be making such claims. I have only ever watched one short drama and to even bring them up in the conversation here is preposterous. Poj has narrative continuation and pacing issues, if you find this dwindling quality as something great then that is your opinion.

In the novel this battle is 1000 times better and 100 times more infuriating that she drugged him. Let's see if the screen play can match the post battle couple scenes we are going to get.

You are not going to convince me these are anything more than 30 minute episodes. In a normal Chinese drama, 3 episodes of what we are seeing would have been covered in one. I would have rather watched 30 episodes than this stretched out deliberately slowed version of 40
