Don't know why, especially since they didn't remove snippets of it from their official trailers for the episode. I've heard a few stronger inuendos or suggestive lines in other dramas. The scene is exciting but so tastefully done. Link below if you want to watch it:

A few explicit scenes tied together by a simple story and acting, with a couple kinky situations. More fantasy than real life.

The writers dumbed down the clever leads whenever it was necessary for the plot and it frustrated me to no end! So much potential to begin with and such a let down.

Could someone please explain why this is titled "How Dare You" when the sentence in the series is "How Are You"? It's even printed in English on the fans they are holding in the poster? I'm so confused, lol 🤷‍♀️

IlJo was afraid that pictures of him and JeongHan would severely hurt JeongHan's public image and his career/future (and family) if they were publicized. Especially if it revealed that they were gay.

FL is groomed by a man who took her from an orphanage into a perfect, talented doll that he controls, marries, and plays with.
Lots of physical and emotional abuse of FL. Captivity, beatings, torture, degredation, blood splatter, painting with blood, husband showing her off and letting friends touch her, also PTSD attacks, depression, suicidal ideation, and suicide.
No rape indicated though, so I guess that's something.

Lots of trigger warnings (listed below)! This is a dark, sad, revenge tale with a love story (though I wouldn't really call it a romance).

You're welcome. To be fair, from what I've seen, Esther's voice is almost always breathy and higher-pitched; seems to be her regular way of speaking, so there's no getting away from that! But there are so many good things about this show hopefully it would balance things out. Of course, there are plenty of other good things to watch too; makes sense to prioritize to personal tastes :)

Glad the review helped clarify things and you were able to enjoy the show! 😁 Their redo approach is definitely different than anything I've seen before- makes it so interesting, but also harder to grasp initially.

It's part of her character growth. She starts as a young, childish, naive, bubbly fairy and then grows more steady over time as she experiences more of life. Late in the story something happens and she acts like someone completely different (including the voice); the contrast is so stark that it hits harder emotionally. But if you really can't stand her voice and character enough to watch, then just pass by. It seems rather unfair to judge an entire drama, and all those who do enjoy it, without watching the whole thing first (or at least more than part of one episode).

Thanks. It's been awhile- I don’t remember that following cars on foot bit, lol. From what I do remember, a lack of natural growth (for characters and relationships) is indeed a good way to put it! I commiserate with you; wishing whatever you watch next to be more satisfying :)
