Hiw could you tell it was censored? What did they change?

3hrs 38min and didn't fast-forward a thing! Not only slice-of-life, SO realistic! Characters had depth and the interactions between the leads had layers and evolved beautifully. It felt completely immersive. The cinematography and editing were great too- a cohesive feel that was intentional and different to any other vertical drama I've seen so far.

Great for 1hr 53min and then it slid downhill fast and hard and stayed there. The first half was so fun and cute with the playful FL that had the stern ML cracking grins and smiles at her antics. I was constantly smiling too- her facial expressions were so expressive and the way she wheedled/flirted was delightful. I loved the dynamic. But then the remaining 1hr 40min was all contrived, toxic, angst between the two characters (set off by the very manipulative interferences of the SFL and SML, which never got fully addressed and cleared up by the end anyway) and it never became sweet again.

The FL's sister was raped and killed by an old CEO; she fell to her death. His legitimate son (SML) was there as well. The ML is the CEO's first son, but illegitimate. He believes the CEO killed his mother when he was a kid to marry a wealthy woman and rise to power through her. The ML knows the FL wants revenge and also knows that the FL bears a resemblance to his mother. He gives the FL the means and knowledge for drawing the CEO's attention. She also draws the attention of the SML and works to pit him and his father against each other. As the FL and ML collaborate, they slowly grow feelings for each other, but revenge must come first.

I found a working link on 8/11/25. Great English subtitles (below under spoiler), though multiple scenes are played out of order. So the jumps from scenes can be a little confusing at times, but I was still able to follow it and piece it together. Even with that, it was still a definite 10/10 watch for me!

Man, Chen Si is so good; I kept re-playing his emotional scenes because his microfacial expressions and changes in tone of voice were captivating and tugged hard at my own emotions.

I found the whole thing extremely satisfying. A smart FL (also acted well and a perfect fit for the role), a well-executed revenge plan against multiple people, a green flag ML with a dangerous edge, fun teasing/flirting between the leads, plenty of skinship and passionate kisses yet tender moments too, some well-done angst between the leads that is resolved in a timely manner and well before the end, and a happy ending for the good guys.

10/10 for me (I rate vertical dramas on their own sliding scale) and I expect I will rewatch.
