Hi thanks for the friend request and nice to meet you.
I see you have Matsuyama Kenichi as one of your favorite actors. Probably because of the Death Note series right? ;) I love him a lot as well. Do you also like to watch movies and what genre? For me the genre I like in drama's isn't per se the genre I like to see in my movies. I've seen him in some other wonderful movies worth watching.

LOL yes it's become a huge monster, but I'm still feeding it. ;)
I've been wanting to watch Queens Classroom it actually seems like a drama I would like. But I just never seem to be in the mood to actually pick it up so I've been postponing it. For now I wish I could watch something similar to CC it really left a deep impression and was a great ride. Everything I could want to entertain me was in it. Although normally I do like a bit more romance I really can forgive CC. :P So now I'm in doubt, something similar or something totally different and light. I'll wait for inspiration. I think I'll try Miracle in Cell no. 7 and/or some other movies in between.

I'm done, I'm done!! Wow that was a great ride. For me it wasn't a perfect drama but I had to rate it a 10 because I started comparing with other drama's which I rated a 9 or 8 and it would have meant rearranging my entire rating system. LOL This one took me on an emotional ride and gave me just enough of everything to keep me invested and wanting more. I so wish they added a scene or two more though. I mean he's not dead right, you seem him talking on the phone at the end. What do you think?

Hehe oke true. But you never know I still get great recommendations for drama's I never knew existed.
I'm not sure about the rating yet 10 or 9 depens on the ending. Anyway I think Cruel City is definitely worth watching but I also think you should never start a drama when you're not in the mood for the specific genre. It usually spoils the drama all together while it might be a great watch at another point in time. In drama world timing is important too. :P

LOL you're exactly the same as me as far as likes and balancing bf and drama's! But we don't live together so like I said before I just gave him a copy of the drama so I can watch in my own pace!! How are you liking the music? I'm going to look for the OST.
But for now I'll hurry up and start watching again!

At the moment I'm so involved in Cruel City. It's maybe not perfect and I don't know if t will live up to the hype for everyone but this show just keeps getting better for me. Of course it helps that I just watched a great ep with a major cliffhanger again. The show got me screaming at TV screens and slapping my hands in my face. But the pacing is very fast so usually they don't leave you hanging for long.
I'm already worried about what I should watch next. IF you know any epic romance stories with an happy ending (like Lovers) keep me posted!

Omo omo omo! I sneaked in ep 18 in between work and I really shouldn't´t have done that!!! I have to step out now but the show just keeps me at the edge of my seat screaming at my TV screen! And then the music at the end is so fitting as well. I feel these last few eps have been better then the start and middle of the show.
You´re right about the story but the pacing, characters and suspense is so good that it just keeps me interested and not bothered at all. And Hyung Min yes normally he's the type I would notice but I'm just to engrossed by Shi Hyun's charisma! Arg I want to watch another ep! I'm already worried about what I should watch next but I don't want it to end yet.
Oh and on a side note. If you manage to stalk him irl you´ll need footage of course, or maybe a friend to carry you´re bags! :-P

Hehe, I love what you've done to the place!!
How are things? What do you think about Cruel City so far? I really love the whole setting, crime world tough guys etc. Story is great as well. The romance really fits in the story as well, but that doesn´t mean that I wouldn't have loved a bit more. :P This is the first drama my bf also copied and took home with him. We wanted to watch together, but I can't wait LOL

Let me know how you like Salaryman I've been contemplating that drama. It somehow doesn't appeal to me but I've been reading great comments and reviews. So I'm wondering if I should give it a shot. Especially since I'm usually not that picky about my drama's. And Ice World can wait, but it's definitely a must watch. ;)

Hi, yes I'm well. Aside from the heat these last few weeks. Good you enjoyed lovers. I think it's probably one of the best Korean romance drama's I've seen. Plus can't remember seeing a lead as sexy as Lee Seo Jin. LOL
Same for me with movies. I'll never stop watching movies while I sometimes do take breaks watching drama's.
Watching Cruel City now and can't seem to stop! It's a very good watch and something different from other drama's. Plus Jung Kyung Ho is great. I already enjoyed him in Smile, you (would have rated that drama higher if not for the last few episodes). But after this I want some light romance or a feel-good sageuk. But then again I also often get sidetracked so I'll just have to see what drama comes next. I wish Cruel CIty had a couple of eps more. I love the atmosphere and crime world in witch the drama is portrayed.

Hehe yes lets watch together and get hyped up if it's as good as we think! I'm going to watch ep 1 now because I can't wait and have an hour or two to kill!
Well Damo is a sageuk melodrama wrapped in a story about political intrigue. It's all about the love between the characters but I wouldn't call it a standard romance drama. I really loved it, and the underlying emotions of all mains. The fight scene's (or overall production value) are a bit off at times but it's a 10 year old drama. The story is never overdone trying to make you cry with strange plot twists or angst. To me it was beautiful. Lee Seo Jin was great and people did go crazy over him in this role but my eyes where on Kim Min Joon. So no he wasn't as sexy as in Lovers LOL. I don't know if you like this type of drama though and with Ha Ji Won in it I wouldn't want to stake my life on it. I however think it's a gem.

Ah yeah Bad Guy, I got fed up on ep 6. It's on hold now but with my strange affliction it still means I will finish it one day. I'll check out Shark but not right away. So little time and so much to watch. ;) Cruel CIty will be first now.

And I read your review on MARS and I agree on your view on their love and chemistry. I mostly agree on all you said in your review actually. For me I just can't bring me to lower my 10 it's been my all time favorite for so long now and rewatched it a couple of times. It woudn't deserve a 10 if I was completly honest, the drama isn't perfect in all ways. But I was so emotionally invested in this drama so it overrules all criteria hehe. Plus I really fell in love with Zhou Vic character here. I could keep watching it over and over again.

I so agree on your view on Japanese vs. Korean. I often go for something Korean when I want to think less and be entertained more. This does not always go as a rule of course.
Jung Woo Sung, I've watched Daisy, The Restless, Reign Of Assassins, A Moment to Remember. I always like his acting and characters but the movies don't always do him justice. The Restless and Reign Of Assassins where entertaining watched though if you like the genre and of course A Moment to Remember was great. I seem to quite like the work of Ha Ji Won but there's no special love for her so I wont take offence ;). Everyone loved Secret Garden and I did enjoy it but it's not a must watch drama for me, so I wouldn't worry there. A shame about Damo though! I did really love My Name is Kim Sam Soon with Hyun Bin though, maybe something you could watch!

Hey, I've been busy myself these last days. But good thing is I can start Cruel City now! Going to set aside some time to finish it fast if it turns out as good as expected. Oh and I watched Nameless Gangster and I really loved it! I will rewatch this with my friends during our upcoming movie evening. Thanks for the suggestion!
I don't avoid Oguri Shun completely he just doesn't appeal to me at all especially as a main character. I've seen him in Rich Man.. Hana Yori Dango, Hana Kimi, Crows Zero and Ao to Shiro de Mizuiro. And of course in a couple of shows in supporting roles. I can't say I'd recommend any though. Maybe you could check out Crows Zero but I don't know if the style is your thing. For it's usually something I would like but in the end it just wasn't al that great somehow. No romance btw.

Haven't seen Love and Honor yet but It's on my PTW list. Yes I love KimuTaku but I love mostly his old work. I'm not too fond of Oguri Shun for very superficial reasons. First time I saw him I thought his chin (yes chin) and mouth resembled my ex bf and somehow it's what I think about when I seem him. LOL
You're right the romance is different so it depends what you're looking for. You might want to try Josee, the Tiger and the Fish. It's romance Japanese style plus the lead from Orange Days is the main. My all time favorite actor.
Did you just complete MARS? What did you think of it?

Welcome back ;). Hope you had a good time! Call me Pien. Ik means me in Dutch and irl friends call me Pien.
Hehe I guess I didn't look into Ha Jung-Woo as much yet. I liked him in No Boys, No Crime and Time but not enough to go crazy over him. Maybe Nameless Gangster will do this foe me. LOL
Yes when I started watching drama's it was due to Japanese things (anime, movies etc) and I guess this slight preference is stuck in my DNA somehow. I really think you can't compare the two though Japanese drama's usually feels totally different. Generally I can appreciate the acting in Japanese more but I like the visuals in Korean movies and drama's better. :P
Male Korean actors you mean?
Kang Dong Won, Jung Woo Sung, Hyun Bin, Lee Seo Jin :-P I just feel I haven't stalked their movies and drama's enough so I can put them over my Japanese favorites yet who I really love for their acting. LOL

Well actually I did plan to watch Shark since I was feeling like watching a good revenge drama. The thing is I tried watching Bad Guy a few weeks ago and I really didn't enjoy it. I actually put it on hold for now. A small part of why I didn't enjoy it (and I know this is blasphemy for some) was Kim Nam Gil. I don't know if it was the acting or the role. But this mixed with some mixed reviews on Shark has put Shark a little lower on the priority-to-watch-list. Guess I;ll have to read some opinions on it once it's completely finished.
