Yeah. Obviously it's not a normal reaction, but neither TTJ nor LSS are normal people. They are people that have gone through extremely traumatising and harsh situations. They have emotional and mental scars that make them do extreme things when they are triggered.

Her sister is definitely higher ranked, because she basically pledges her loyalty to ADG for saving her sister and allowing her rebirth and healing. So while Mo Nv is healing, Si Ying rises through the ranks. As for having a choice, I think all of them do. No matter the rank. The actions are a choice. Si Ying is unfailingly loyal to ADG, because he saved her and her sister, but she doesn't seem to be inherently evil. Di Mian is selfish and frighteningly ambitious and power hungry, so he disregards even his family to get what he wants. So I don't think demons are evil by nature.

You're right, I've been here since the beginning, so this is my third rewatch. Although, I'll admit, I've skipped most of her parts after watching it once. I'd say there's no justification for her behaviour, obviously. Her being originally a demon is not enough explanation for me though. Demons are at odds with immortals, but I don't think they're evil by nature. Just look at PR. Being evil is her own nature.

I don't think it's his jealousy that was greater than his love, but his insecurities that overwhelmed him. From the moment he was born he was called a monster and believed himself to be unlovable. The moments he shared with LSS would be enough for any normal person and would have been enough for him as well if XL never appeared. But XL did appear and TTJ had seen with his own eyes in the past how much YXW was obsessed with XL. His reaction was extreme, but given everything we know, it seems fitting.
Hey hey MOONIES!! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!😄 Tune in to Episode 25 and....... sigh. yeah, let's…
One of the more heartbreaking episodes.
YBC turned a moment of kindness she received which allowed her to return home to cause the death of two people. This is the reason why she's such a hateful character and why she was never happy. She's a horrible person that poisons everything around, including herself.
This is also the episode that showcased the insecurities of both LSS and TTJ. TTJ has no difficulty believing that LSS was trying to kill him to save XL, because he believes that LSS loves XL and he himself is fundamentally unlovable. Despite all the moments they have shared until now, this is something that has been ingrained in his mind since he was little. Her betrayal seems almost expected to him. It's very sad. LSS on the other hand also readily believes that all the moments they have shared were fake and that he was pretending, because she was always wishing she could change him, but at the core of it was always unsure of her impact.

Agreed. The princess in The Double went through some horrible things. YBC is selfish and greedy right from the beginning. Always pretending, even to herself, that she's some victim. That her life is so unfair. That she deserves the best, but others take it from her. When she's unhappy she destroys the happiness of others. When she's happy she still tries her best to make sure others aren't happy. She's a psychotic, narcissistic, selfish, fake, greedy and arrogant horrible excuse for a human being. Looks like I'm still traumatised 🤣🤣🤣
Hey hey Moonies! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch! Tune in to Episode 24 and... watch out for porridge!🤢
We only had a few happy episodes and things are going downhill again. TTJ's fate of suffering is really too strong.
YBC really never learns her lesson. I just want to reach though the screen and slap her. Thankfully this is a rewatch and I can just skip most of her parts. Unfortunately, I still remember the blistering rage and hate during the first time I watched this drama.

YBC saying "back then I was proud and arrogant" and "back then I was greedy and foolish". Who is she trying to fool? You're even more proud, arrogant, greedy and foolish now. Plus a whole lot of other horrible things.
=SIGH= NIAN BAIYUUUUUUUU!!!!! Did you have to appear at that moment???TTJ was well on his way to becoming the…
That's exactly what I was thinking. There are a lot of things that will happen in the following episodes that are absolutely heartbreaking and I would have liked the characters not to go through, but it has all shaped the people they eventually become.
While this drama is by no means bad, it had the potential to be so much better.
I will admit I still enjoyed most of it. One of the things that definitely could've benefited from some improvement is the overall story. The pacing was a bit off and the story was a little messy and repetitive, especially towards the end. There are some details and explanations missing.
The FL is not entirely likeable. The biggest problem is that she's too impulsive and not smart enough to keep it in check, which makes her seem stupid because she always acts before thinking.
The main villain gets more stupid as the episodes go by.
While the romance is the main focus and saving grace of this drama, the lack of communication between the main couple creates most of the issues.
For me, YBC is fully to blame. The rest of the characters acted according to their personalities and emotions, but she is just hateful for no reason.

Overall, it was not bad for a short drama.
