Hey hey Moonies!! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!πTune in to Episode 30 and accompany Li Susu on her…
This episode seems very melancholic, because both LSS and TTJ spend it reminiscing. He's hellbent on finding her and she's hellbent on forgetting him.
The star of this episode for me is Zhao You. The perfect master for the confused TTJ. The way he guides him is gentle and not forceful at all. He definitely knows what he's doing.
Every character seems to have misunderstood that she wanted to leave him so much that she chose to die.
It's actually interesting that her family didn't pick up on just how different she became. I'm surprised TTJ didn't look into it more. He was actually the first one who noticed how different she was. Then he got distracted.
This drama started out cute and funny, although filled with the usual cliches with a cross-dressing FL. Una You did really well in this role. She has to be among the best cross-dressing FL's I've seen so far.
For the most part I really enjoyed it, but the last few episodes were really bad. It started with her amnesia and just went downhill really fast. Nothing made sense anymore, but even worse than that even after she regained her memories it was like all the trust they built from the beginning and the development of their relationship just flew out the window.
While for most of the drama I rooted for this couple, I must say that by the end of it I hope they don't end up together, because she doesn't deserve him at all.
Hey hey Moonies!! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!π Tune in to Episode 29 and say goodbye to the Jing…
XL's explanation about how he fell in love with YBC just shows that he never got to see and understand the real her. In an earlier episode it was already explained that she was pitying the flowers because she was pitying herself. Someone as selfish as her wasn't distributing porridge to the poor out of the goodness of her heart, but so that others would see and think she's good. She also talked about how ever since she was little she had to pretend to be good, so that her family would love her, because she thought that they never did. He says he loved her because of who she is, not because of the love threads, only he never actually knew who she was.
Obviously, if she ever opened up to XL, he might still love her as kind as he is, but as superficial as their relationship was, whatever love he felt for her wasn't as true as he thought it was. YBC might have thought that their love was fake, because of the stolen love threads, but she herself was fake to begin with and a fake person can't earn real love.
hey soo, this is my second xianxia drama as someone who just started getting really into cdramas and imma have…
Looks like you got pretty far, so if you don't like it, there's no point trying to figure out why others did. Watching a drama is subjective by nature and whether you like it or not depends on your own feelings and thoughts. No matter what other people say, what you feel about a drama is right for you.
I wonder if he does. She has loved him and stayed by his side through thick and thin. He's obsessed with revenge, so she helps him in any way that she can. He is bound to be moved by that.
I also wonder why PYZ make a decision to trade that bracelet with TTJ, thought he is a cultivator and would know…
I suppose at this point he's desperate. He predicted what he needs and how he can get it. TTJ is desperate to save LSS and PYZ is desperate to save XL.
Hey hey Moonies! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!π Tune in to Episode 27 and relive the trauma all over…
LSS's despair from the previous episodes is replaced by guilt of misunderstanding TTJ's actions. She latches on to the last chance to complete her mission even more firmly, because it's also the way to ensure that TTJ lives. Dying while saving the world and the man she loves is worth it for her.
The mandatory death and mayhem that signals the beginning of the end of the arc has officially begun and we have lost another beloved character.
Sorry I'm late!!!!Hey hey Moonies! Time for our 2nd anniversary rewatch!π π π Tune in to Episode 26 and…
Ah, we have reached the episode that stabbed us all in the heart.
The wedding was visually stunning, but emotionally heartbreaking. Poor TTJ thought he was finally getting the one thing he thought he would never have, only to lose it in such a painful way. The fact the he says he still loves her and allows her to kill him is the culmination of all the previous times when she was the only one he ever forgave unconditionally and without any strings. As heartbreaking as it is for TTJ, it is by no means easy for LSS. She always believed the her idea of changing TTJ for the better and that way avoiding the DG she knew from appearing was a long shot, but she wholeheartedly pursued it and hoped it would work. The doubt was always there though and every time TTJ showed a glimpse of cruelty and extreme behaviour, she was scared of not succeeding. This time people she cared about got hurt and she lost hope completely and decided to resolutely execute the only plan that she believed would work. Both of them are heartbroken by this.
The dungeon scene is among the most heartbreaking in this drama. LYX and BL are absolutely brilliant. The sheer despair in that scene is so palpable, that even though it's hard to watch, it's actually one of my favourite scenes in this drama.
"Since you don't cherish my love, you can have a taste of my hatred." He says that very confidently, but in the end he can never bring himself to actually hurt her. Not even after all of that. He still considers her as his everything. The one person who showed him the warmth and beauty of this world, so she is in essence the warmth and beauty of the whole world personified to him. It's not necessarily healthy. Especially given what happens in later episodes. However, it's very characteristic of TTJ and everything that has made him who he is.
It's very sad to see the lively and energetic LSS so defeated. The weight of her responsibilities came crushing down and swallowed her.

This is definitely among the saddest episodes for all the characters.
