Their destinies were definitely connected. Also, I think it's a testament to their journey that TTJ didn't end up being the Demon God, but was a God and she was a Goddess. And they were both where they were supposed to be to save the world.

He has endured a lot.

I imagine that was one of the reasons why she made it. She had someone else to live for.

I can't believe we're already at the end of our rewatch. Time really flies.

The scene of LSS and TTJ in their God forms away from everything is very emotional, but at the same time it's so calm and peaceful. Even his expression when he dies is peaceful. He has done everything he set out to do and saved and protected everyone he wanted to protect.

Poor LSS is left alone to pick up the pieces. PR was right, it's always more painful being the one left behind.

These two just can't have a wedding that doesn't turn into a disaster.

TTJ has to work really hard to make LSS hate him. They have been through so much together that he knows just which buttons to push though.

GYJW has gone off the rails. This shows that even the kindest soul can be corrupted once a mistake is made and the mind has been disturbed. His desire for power isn't coming from a selfish place, but the way he has obtained power definitely wasn't right.

ADG really is tired of his job 🤣 Poor thing doesn't even get to quit peacefully.

True. The existence of the evil bone and therefore the Demon God is a natural event to gather all the darkness in the world and solidify it in one person. The Demon God's existence is therefore a fixed, unescapable thing. That's why ADG was going as far as destroying the world and returning it to chaos, just so he could also wipe out his own existence. The only permanent way he foresaw to end his miserable life. That was the choice he had. To live or to die and he was choosing to die. Unfortunately, he's immortal and indestructible as long as the world has other beings that give in to darkness, which means that the whole world needs to be destroyed for him to be destroyed. It's a rather sad existence.

In comparison DM had all the choices before him. He had a beautiful Goddess that loved him, married him and gave him a child. He could have chosen happiness, but he chose power and he chose evil. Out of free will. For that he's definitely more evil that any incarnation of the Demon God.

ZY truly was the best master TTJ could have ever asked for. It was really hard to watch. We have lost two amazing fathers.

Thankfully DM was also stabbed to death, so we don't have to see his face again.

I also liked them. For some reason they didn't seem as evil as they were supposed to be. I'm assuming it's because we have DM for comparison. With real evil like that around, everyone else seems good in comparison.

He can try and make all the serious faces he wants, but poor thing is not powerful enough to handle DG's power. All of the immortal sects combined are nothing to him now.

The death of JM and SY is really sad, even though they are supposed to be villains. It's fitting though that they died at the hands of ADG, because no one else would be able to anyway.

How arrogant of DM to assume he would be able to control all that power. ADG would have killed him instead of sealing him away all those years ago if he didn't foresee that DM had a role to play in his eventual resurrection.
