The main romance is between the flirty female lead and the straightforward male lead and it's a very interesting pairing. I enjoyed watching their interactions.
I loved it. The dynamic between the three main characters was really interesting. All three are very different, but very well matched. The casting was perfect.
This drama initially went on my PTW list instantly because of the cast and the genre and now that I have finished it, I'm not disappointed in the slightest.
Flaws (especially in the last few episodes) aside, this was a great drama.
The story is interesting and well built, it's visually stunning and the cast did an amazing job. Especially, the three main leads, who were incredibly perfectly cast.

It's hard to choose, but I'll try to pick one character from a few dramas.
TTEOTM > TTJ: he had a nice range of different costumes. Some were flowy and ethereal looking and others were dark en imposing.
FOF > ZY: While all if the characters were well dressed in this drama, ZY's outfits were to me on another level
LBFAD > DFQC: what can I day, demon kings know how to dress
TBL > NXY: I like the contrast of his outfits to those of the main leads. They're flowy and ethereal looking. The outfits in TBL match the characters really well.
Eternal Love > BQ: I love that the costumes look simple, but they are also elegant and match the mood of the drama
Is it that bad? I was actually looking forward to it.
I have wanted to watch this drama for so long, I can't even remember when I put it on my PTW list. Then they announced that there will be a second season and I wanted to wait and watch it together. Now there's a season three in the making and I'm hesitating again. BUT, given that there was a 5 year break between the first and the second season, my patience seems to have run out and I decided to just watch it after I catch up with the January dramas.

I need to catch up, so after TBL, I'm going to watch MM. Then either IAN or GOTD. That will depend on how much I'll need a laugh after MM. Then it's time for JOL. So I'm set for at least a while. By the time I'm done, the February dramas will have aired all the episodes and I can catch up on those. Love of the Divine Tree is obviously on the list and I also watch to check out Kill My Sins. That's the plan so far.

Now, I'm watching MM and I honestly can't imagine how people were able to watch the two at the same time without getting a heart attack.
Next stop on my catch up train > MM

DG's chariot is also very impressive.
Jing's little fox was adorable too in LYF. I would adopt it in a heartbeat.
Let's be honest, I'd adopt all the animals.
