I absolutely loved MM. I really liked the way the story was built. BL never disappoints. ARP was great. Their chemistry was amazing. Overall, I really enjoyed it.
I'm not good with waiting for episodes, so I chose a drama that already finished airing. It was the plan anyway. Plus, after MM, I need something funny.
Hi Moonies! What drama/movie would u plan to binge this weekend? Me - Weiweiβs Divine and jdrama the quirky…
Just finished Moonlight Mystique yesterday, so I was actually thinking about watching Love of the Divine Tree, but I decided to wait for all the episodes. Instead I chose Guardians of the Dafeng. I'm in the mood for something funny.
As far as Xianxia dramas go, this one has the full package.
It's visually stunning with beautiful consumes, sets, cinematography and CGI. The OST is beautiful and memorable. The cast is perfect. And most importantly, the story is engaging and dramatic. I really like the progression of this drama, with everything being interconnected and at the same time the story and the stakes get grander and grander towards the end of the drama.
Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng are breathtaking together. The relationship of the main couple evolves very naturally and their trust in each other is so deep that they never doubt each other. They are both very honest and sincere and are ready to protect each other and face life and death together. It's a very beautiful love that you can't help but root for.
The second couple was also great. Chong Zhao and Fu Ling have a very turbulent relationship that is rather toxic in the beginning, but grows sincere with the revelations that follow. After everything both of them have gone through, you also can't help but root for them as well.
After 40 episodes of tears and laughter, I absolutely LOVE this drama and sometime in the future I will rewatch it and go on this amazing journey once again.
"Under the influence of effective regulatory guidance and market self-awareness, the industry is exhibiting a significant trend where improvements in content quality are driving the reconstruction of the industry ecosystem, and the upgrading of content value is empowering the development of various sectors."
In other words, seeing as more people seem to be interested in watching micro dramas, which were less regulated and therefore had more creative freedom, they are now deciding to also restrict them as well with their ridiculous censorship.

So many costume dramas to choose from, but I'm not sure I'd like to put them together. I can just imagine the…
To be honest, I'm not sure ADG would fight. I feel like he would just sit and observe everyone like they're puny insects, unworthy of him getting up. π€£π€£π€£ All of these demons seem rash and bloodthirsty, but all five are actually much calmer and more observant than they seem.

I need all these dramas on Netflix.

Dream Arc > Sang Jiu, whether the innocent, pure version or the angry demon version, I'm on her side
Emperor Arc > TTJ and LSS, I feel like both their goals are worth fighting for despite the multitude of misunderstandings in this arc
Immortal Arc > again TTJ and LSS for similar reasons

Intense is indeed a good way to describe WD's acting. I find that often, he doesn't even need to say anything to portray what needs to be portrayed.
