There's a surprising amoung of vampire stories where they're a separate race that is born and ages like elves XD And sometimes, like in The Hunger and First Kill, both types of vampires (the born and the bitten) exist in the same world, but have slightly different powers and weak points. Not that I'm saying it's the case here, but... it might be. We can't know for sure, since they're doing their own thing.

It could also be similar to a Blade thing - Blade's human mom was pregnant when she got attacked by a vampire, but still managed to have the baby before bleeding out. He was affected and gained powers, becoming what they call a 'half-vampire' or dhampyr. Dhampyrs are fairly usual in vampire stories, too - Bella and Edward's kid fits, too lol

I just wish, whatever the case is, that they don't start introducing a bunch of other stuff when there's just three episodes left. @_@ It would be messy enough to introduce witches/werewolves/different kinds of vampires/wtv if it happened in the beginning (like, say, Supernatural or The Vampire Diaries, and those were long shows), but starting that now might ruin the show by taking the attention away from the serial killer + Ken's suicidal tendencies + all three romances right in the third act. Too much too late, you know?

Maybe, but they could've made it clear. James could've addressed it earlier when he asked him about the future or something. This way, we don't know, and it seems like he got the information from thin air, especially since his aura didn't give him away (as far as we were shown) James knowing Ken is depressed doesn't mean he'd want to get murdered by a serial killer IMO, it's too big a reach. But either way, I think they should've shown them talking about something suicide-adjacent - possibly in that scene when James asked about the future after the case so the progression into fighting over it was more organic. /shrugs

And yes, heart bites just seem wrong. I wish they'd gone with something else, or that it was metaphorical. @_@ It's giving (Twilight spoilers - actually, for the last Twilight movie, whatever it's called) Edward doing Bella's c-section with his teeth and ew D:

...I love Chita's dolls and would deffo have a bunch if I was the weird Victorian Vampire of my dreams :X But yeah, they should have treasure troves or dragon nests or something, even if they keep them hidden to pass as common people.

The subtitles always say 'rainbow' when that sparkly aura with bits of green shows up. It can't be a coincidence after the rainbow talk and the rainbow in the song, either. It looks more green than any other color to me, too, but it seems like rainbow is what they're going for. I think all Nours get the rainbow sparkly auras when they use their powers (super-speed, like Tee in episode 2, and super-strength, like Ken at the end of 7, included) or taste blood (James in the car, and also in the second episode, though he wasn't looking at Ken's aura then; and also at Ken's house, since he was bleeding from the nose and by the end both had blood all over their faces.)

I dunno about any of that stealing powers/souls thing. Reminds me of Heroes. It's not impossible, but there's nothing much (other than the existence of two different powers, the weird fire and the aura thing) pointing at it and we only have three more episodes, so I hope not. But yeah, possible.

I get the nonchalant thing and attacking Ji - precisely because she was suicidal. That part doesn't bother me, but going to school and talking to Rain was ??? Unless Rain is also a Nour and involved, it made no sense. Is Rain Chita's Nour ex, the one who turned him? XD

It wasn't said. I just finished rewatching it. He was looking at James because he's hiding it from him, not because he wants him to kill him. The only one, from what we know until now, that can kill Nour, is Chita. True love can be turned into Nour with a heartbite, and that's the only true love-related thing we know for a fact up to this point.

That's not what I was talking about - James has no reason to know that Ken has been trying to off himself for 200 years because he hasn't been told anything of the sort. He only knows about the washing machine incident 5 years ago and that isn't enough reason to assume he's currently trying to get immolated by a serial killer @_@ They should've included a scene with Ken telling him about his suicidal ideation BEFORE the whole 'you just wanna die' thing.

I still think it'll end with James almost dying and changing his mind about being turned into Nour, so they get a soap opera happy ending. It's just the vibes I'm getting.

His previous true love... Very likely a villain? :D I mean, the only way the person who turned him is dead, as far as we know, is if the serial killer murdered them, so it's likely that they're still around, yeah.

Agreed, this was the weakest of the bunch. Nin didn't seem to care enough that his brother was taken, James and Ken shouldn't have spent a whole scene talking about the rainbow (plus, I'm pretty sure in episode 3 it was established that Ken couldn't differentiate red from other colors, but now he doesn't know 'the colors of the rainbow', so he actually sees in black and white? It doesn't match what was said before!) because it killed any suspense, etc @_@ It was kinda not it...

1) We don't know yet @_@ Maybe he's a Nour hunter trying to keep people safe, like Blade? Maybe he's after specific Nours who did something, for revenge? Or some rivalry... Too mysterious until we get some flashbacks or backstory! As you know, i'm sad it was him. I was 60% sure he was the killer (and 40% trying to convince myself he was just a little Nour boy), but still i____i So sad.

2) I don't buy this Supreme Nour narrative (though I do agree we need to know why Chita has this special power), much less that she knew. I think she thought he was some weak baby Nour like Tee and tried to scare him away... Btw, is the Supreme thing a reference to AHS? XD Anyway, she wanted to die after losing Tee :(

3) I love the mysterious scenes i_i I just don't like the rainbow scene and Rain and Nin wasting our time with their not-quite-romance instead of Nin hanging on to Rain in fear of his brother dying @_@ I needed more suspense!

4) He sees auras (he confirmed it and used the word aura in an interview last week, the same one where he said James was blue in his opinion because he's sad i_i) but can tell when people are lying in some unexplained way. Maybe lying has its own color? But it can't be green (the female cop was green in his party), blue (sadness, and the doctor this episode) or red (in the same interview, he said red was being fiery) If you didn't watch that interview, I can get you the link, btw~

5) No idea. Maybe this is the usual amount! Scary thought lol
