I have issues with both the plot and the AI, yeah. But rn I just hope Lin Yan can get rid of both his uncle and Scorpion and that Nie Chuan isn't kidnapped/tortured for at least a whole episode for a change + gets to just disappear with the man he clearly loves instead of having to explain things to the police... I mean, Lin Yan probably won't be happy to find out he's a cop (supposing he doesn't already know - he might) but they've both lied so much to each other it would be hypocritical of him to not get over it fast XD
My ideal ending is coup-staging ex-mobster + runaway ex-mercenary ex-cop run away into the sunset, establish a safe place for all those war kids (by proxy, of course, no one can know they're behind it) and live sappy ever after.

The script is weird and a bit too repetitive. How many times is Nie Chuan gonna get taken away/almost killed by one of the family memebers before this is over? @_@ It's gotten stale already, so I hope that was the last time.
If I were Nine I'd be thinking of a way to upstage Wan in an event or something to make me viral, not obsessing over yesterday's news and trying to pull a Sunny from Payback -_- Focus on my game instead of trying to get rid of someone who's bringing positive attention to the show, you know? He's not thinking straight and it's deeply annoying. At least he did something more in that vibe by the end of the episode, using the controlling mom-ager in his favor...
I agree that it's annoying that everyone expects Wan to know everything already, but he should be more proactive and do his research/talk to Renji and Cher about his doubts and _read the script_ @_@ He'd seem much more interested and professional, and not like he's just "I can't do it ;~;" even though he signed the contract and took the money. His sister is a cutie, and though she has no experience, I think she'd do better than him since she actually seems to get the stakes~
I want to know the beef between Nine and Third. Seeing how petty Nine is, it's certainly his fault, but I wanna know soon! (I can't stand their managers, either of them. One thinks she's protective but she's just obnoxious and the other one isn't necessarily wrong about the shipping, but keeps going about it all the wrong way and can't think outside the box grrrr)
Love that Wan and Third went from enemies to frenemies already! Third is visible crushing on him.
Glad Cher got called out, I don't think she does her job correctly a lot of the time :X If she did, Wan wouldn't be so unprepared and seem so unprofessional (and he wouldn't have been late that one time) At least she stepped up by helping teach him those poses lol
Am I the only one who thinks Nine was sending Third a really threatening message and not actually legit trying to harm Wan? XD I'm not saying he'd mind harming him, just that it wasn't his main goal at that time lol And I doubt Wan will think he did anything wrong - it's his idol, he'll find a way to defend him for as long as possible - I hope Renji tells him what, exactly, he saw.
PS: shout-out to whoever put Jamessu in those Vivienne Westwood ear studs, so pretty!
I have a bunch of issues with the Dan storyline - it wasn't well explained (what did Jane ask in return for the favor to his parents? what exactly happened to them?) and there was no resolution (did Dan die?) @_@ There were other weird rushed parts, but in general I went well enough for me. Glad I didn't quit it after the semi-attempted-grape Big Jane had the sense to stop, because he really did a) suffer enough to make me feel like he paid for it and b) grow enough to redeem himself @_@ Yay...
Two things that might be worth mentioning: I got seriously pissed off at Lil' Jane's parents on episode 11 when Dan was accusing Big Jane of taking their house from them and no one in the family defended him though Lil' Jane was the one who insisted he take it instead of just giving them the money :( It felt really ungrateful to me AND wtf was that ending with BJ's father crashing the first dance? Hated that.
I liked the second episode more than the first one. They're both flawed, interesting characters, and I love Barcode's silly dog-daddy, too. I read all the complaints and I dunno - maybe I'm just in the mood for imperfect people bantering, but I'm good with what we got (and that's coming from someone who only liked around 3 GMMMTV shows they ever watched, so I'm no big fan of the company; and though I watched and mostly enjoyed ThamePo, I don't even follow any of the actors...)
Do I wish Wan had prepared better and acted more humble instead of nonchalant when called out? Yes. Do I think he had the time to prep? Absolutely not. They rushed his first days and of course he couldn't catch up with everything he had to do, regardless of his silliness in misunderstanding the address.

I'm impressed with Puinoon's acting. I'd never seen her before, but she clearly knows what she's doing.
