I actually like him , that scene with the Cha's and him going "You can call me little brother" "You call me brother in law" "You call me uncle" "Yes noona", was hilarious to me.
I feel he is just a kid who never had much a future and now suddenly he can be in charge of a huge corporation and it got to his head.
But I can see how others might think he is an asshole.

This is why no one ever eats the ramyeon he cooks

Lee Hae Young did a terrific work these two episodes, he had all the dramatic weight of the scenes and he acted his ass off.

Regarding Taeyun, and maybe I am mistaken, but maybe he also heard SDJ telling HID to pick his family (including him) and to get their asses out of Daesan, that and the fact that there's a new heir in the company, I don't know if maybe we will see Taeyun's more ambitious side.

I also don't want SeonWoo becoming a puppet to YJS, but I still don't get why his mom trusts him. Maybe she thinks SeonWoo has a better shot at the company following YJS than SDJ.

Finally we can end the endless speculation of SDJ's father.

We reached Ildo's 25th life attempt don DongJu! And, as always, he didn't succeed. You suck Ildo honestly.

But at least the cat is out of the bag and now they both know DongJu is IlDo's son. To me the revelation was emotionally a letdown, I was expecting more from all the parts involved, but you know what, I'm giving them episode 13 for that. I specially expect a bit of redemption for HID even if he cannot be redeemed.

Something is definitely off between YJS, and Seonu's mom, like what if they are lying to Chairman Cha about his illegitimate son and Seonu isn't really his child. It's just another mind game sponsored by YJS to take over Daesan in case HID failed?

I am also side-eyeing Taeyun, I don't know, I feel the sweet boy act will drop the moment his new uncle (I honestly can't with Seonu) starts taking over the company, that boy is not going down.

Seonu's little moment of "You can call me uncle" "you can call me little brother" "yes big noona" killed me, he is hilariously dumb. Cha Woo Min how I hope one day the will give you a starring role in anything.

SDJ dad is actually the Kopiko's we ate along the way.

The Kopiko ads need to stop, please, I beg you, it's just ridiculous.

Xiumin is cute as a button, but to be honest the plot of the first 30 minutes of the first episode was boring to me. When they went to the present day it was funnier and more interesting.
Kudos to the drama team for putting cat noises every time Xiumin does anything, that was on point. I also have a weak spot for EXY, so I'm sold.

This theory is also the one I favor.

And I actually think the one behind the death of Eunnam's dad and SDJ mom was not HID but DeokHui. Maybe HID knew about this, and it's why he doesn't think his son is alive. Yet he still feels something is off with SDJ.

SDJ being HID son also would explain why he hanged out at the Yeom's, you are so right on that. Assuming HID has been working for the old guy for quite a while already.

HAHAHAHA ok that is convincing.

What I am sure is that YEn and SDJ won't end up being brothers, or related in any way, but it doesn't matter who is the son of who it would create a nice dilemma if SDJ wants to kill HID and YEN tries to stop him killing her dad. (Or maybe she will pull the trigger Idk about this drama anymore)

I do think it was a bit of a ret-conning.

But it could be that he remembered some parts when he saved HID (mainly that it was the same man that shoot him) another part came when the doctor made him go through hypnosis, an then the rest when the truck hit his sister?

Couple of thoughts of Episode 10:
- So Ildo once got detained by the police, beaten up, forced to confess who his mates were and now is working under the orders of the same man that did all of that. Talk about a tragic past. I kind of want this man to get some sort of revenge on YJS. Hate that dude.

-I was expecting quite the opposite reaction from Seonu's mom and Seonu. Didn't expect her to wish her son was recognized as a member of the Cha family. Seonu's reaction made me laugh, that's exactly the face you get once you pretty much have your life solved.

- I thank the writer for finally putting an end to the dumb plot of YEN-YHC marriage because it was starting to drag and not get solved. Guess they were both fed up with the other.

Time for crazy theories:
- From the flashback moment I am trying to get all the info, but it's kind of hard: So Seonghyung-SDJ was the son of the women we see in the picture, but I doubt he was the son of Sunho's (Eunnam's dad), the man looks really uncomfortable picking him up from the floor, and her mother looks very apologetic. Besides, DeokHui is murdering Sunho with her eyes, and Ildo just looks the whole thing very concerned.
I feel DH here was already pregnant with Eunnam here, and married to Sunho. And I think, both her and Ilho conspired to kill Sunho, and SDJ and his mother. Maybe Junho and SDJ's mom had been in a relationship before, I don't know.

-I am still betting SDJ is the son of HID and the women we see in the picture. But I don't think he is aware his son is still alive, he probably thinks he died in the car crash?

Ok so I need to clear my head about episode 9

- Glad the Swiss account number plot wasn't even that important to being with. Did I get it right? Dong Ju just gave the money back to the Elder and that's about it. I guess to him his revenge against YJS is more important.

- Huh Ildo decided that he was not going to try "murder attempt Nº500" he's had enough of that.

- How adorable was that scene between our chairman and his son Seonu? I don't know I was smiling, it was like the little soft moment of the episode. I guess it's going to be Dongju helping Seonu get into the family, and Deokhui trying to lure him away with the promise of money. Personally, I would prefer if Seonu doesn't get into that shit place surrounded by all those snakes, he seems like a decent person.

-I lost the plot when Eunnam went back to her husband so he would bring her to the safest place, YJS's house, but at this moment I feel the drama has no idea what to use her for other than being the main character's love interest.

- Now about Dongju's past; If I agree that Dongju is Seonghyeon, what we know is that at some point he was at YJS house wearing a Cha group pin. That he is, supposedly, the son of a hostess from Iris Club. And that he is in some old picture being held by Eunnam's dad.

-My crazy theory is that he is not really Eunnam's dad son, but Ildo 's. I seriously doubt they will make Eunnam and Dongju half siblings. But obviously he has a connection with the Cha's, at least he hanged out in the house. So what if he is Ildo's illegitimate son and this is why he hesitated killing him. (Edit: To add he hesitated on attempt number 500, the first times it was fine). Nah this doesn't work either. I don't know anymore.

I make no sense, I am starting to sound deranged.

Ji Seon U, his illegitimate son with the bakery owner, it seems his memories came back while riding the bike with him so he definitely spend sometime with him, when the kid was younger.
I wonder if that's why, when Seon U brought the president home, he didn't seem to remember his daughter, but he clearly remembered his son

The last scene between him and Suhyeon did so well to explain his character. I agree with you.
I sound like a broken record but really the writers did a particular good job with, despite the limited time of the episodes, make sure we understand each character. pair it up with the good acting of our four leads and it created a great drama.

I need some explanation as to why I got this obsessed with this one too. It was far from perfect or having a high end production and yet it was addictive.

i think it's mean to be a nice revenge against Jaemin who went deranged that he had met Daon first and so Daon belonged to him. he wasn't even the first of the three and it really doesn't matter.

I mean, maybe it's too early to say this, but I feel Suhyeon was probably the best written character apart from Daon.
