ive been stalking bts scenes forever and i think itll be a nice development since there are a handful of scenes that made me audiby gasp

it's more interesting when there's love triangles or squares. in SOKP it's not a one sided battle where one character is clearly losing. it makes the romance aspect enjoyable if it's not just one couple who misunderstand each other and the second ml or fl gets kicked to the curb😆

i couldnt agree more. even if we know which couple is set up for endgame, other ships don't deserve hate. many comments were like "oh she only looks up to his righteousness, no feelings at all" and it seems a bit odd. one person can like more than two people in one lifetime ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

cant be too drtailed cause my memory's bad, but essentially the JXN-XW moments need to wait a few episodes since atm she likes ZZ. it's the trope where if your heart is occupied you don't pay attention to anyone else. although xiewei and xuening are endgame, it's like a nice ease into a slowburn as it stabs you in the heart (stabs mmmm)

there is liu bang, a peasant rebel who rose to power, meaning your origins can't exactly be questioned if you are put on the seat with a strong force to back you. i like to think of cdramas as realistic fiction but more on the fiction side, it was rare for no one to be in line for the throne unless rebels or enemies exterminated the entire bloodline. i doubt that in chinese history a powerful man would give the throne to a random boy like xiewei did, usually rebels usurped the throne themselves or for whoever they worked for. this story's unique since xiewei was just a ball of craziness and fury in the first life 0-0

i think the cast is great but with such an odd script it's hard to deliver

i may not like the romance aspects bc the side couples are just getting messy and im impatient, but it's comedic enough to be a good background show

ik it’s personal preference but i don’t recommend skipping bc if you support xw and xn the slow burn won’t have its effect with like several missing episodes. the political plot is also consistent and won’t make sense even with one ep missing :)

some people saw how the show dropped at 8.2 and chose not to watch it (few days ago), i'm content with 8.6 if people are willing to keep watching *-*
